1.4.0 ? Cant see paid apps

Hi,
Recently purchased a non network Palm Pre p100ueu here in ireland, however it wont update to any verison later than 1.4.0.
I also cant see any paid apps; Phone is running on Vodafone Ireland Network.
any help is much appriciated.

Thanks for the reply.
As above i purchased my pre unlocked from an online retailer, its currently running on the vodafone ireland network on palm webOS 1.4.0. When running the updater app it connects but tells me the below:
I have done some research and it looks like id need webOS 1.4.1 and above to see paid apps in addition to the free apps.
Ive tried checking updates over wifi aswell, no difference. There was no errors during device activation / setup either. Everything else is working fine.

you can plug the phone into your laptop and check the apps you want to add, or you can go to the app store on your phone, go to the 'purchased' section and download it.

The iTunes app can't be deleted. It was either restricted or moved to another home screen page"
Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow) iTunes > ON
If you still don't see it:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

App Catalog - can't see paid apps (unl Pre Plus (AT&T) in Canada)

I have an unlocked Pre Plus (AT&T).
I used a Telus (Canada) 3G SIM to perform the unlock (code was provided when I got it), and after fixing the carrier settings db3 file, I've got it running on Telus' 3G network. Phone and data work great, but I can only see the free apps in the catalog, none of the paid ones. Even if I manage to direct link to a paid app, it says I need an OS update (I already applied the 1.4.5 update), or 'not available in your region'.

One thing that could be playing a roll in your issue might be the Country your App Store is set to. In this case, the apps may be available in the French store, and not the US store. The following Knowledge Base article offers up how to change the country of your Store:

Just updated atv3 software to 5.3 and cant see any app

i just updated my ATV3 to sof 5.3 and I don't see any apps. I only see Apple events, Qello, Crunchyroll but apps like youtube or trailers are missing. Also i dont see the icon to watch movies or tv shows.
I configured my network (i can see other computers libraries) and my apple account.
Any idea what's wrong?

Upgraded to OS 2.0, Cant see Android App Player

I upgraded to OS 2.0 this morning and I didnt see the Android app player. I even went in and did a wipe and reinstall of the OS 2.0 and still nothing. I even setup my emial accound etc. BB appworld works and did re download some of my apps I lost. AIR Browser has a MISC folder with an android guy. Open that and a folder called Android and in that the standard fie structure like my other tablet. I would like to combine both and have just one playbook for all. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Android apps just work once signed. The old player is gone and now they just work.

Cant see my apps in creative cloud, just a spining wheel

I´m trying to install my apps on my new Macbook Pro but I only get a spinning wheel under creative cloud and apps. Anyone know why?

Please try the steps below:
Quit the Creative cloud application.
Go to utilities, delete Adobe Application Manager and Adobe Creative cloud (if not deleted during uninstallation) folders.
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folder from the location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Delete AAMUpdater, AAMupdaterInventory and OOBE folders from the location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Reinstall Adobe Creative cloud application.

Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

I have the gen 3 apple TV and somehow i can no longer airplay, from my mac book pro, ipad, ipad mini or iphone. It used to work on all of my devices and now I cant see the icon.
When I open my remote app it tells me that I have to turn on Home sharing on my itunes or apple tv. It is turned on, on all of my devices.
I have been trying to trouble shoot this issue (all of my devices have the latest updates) and I still cant use my remote or air play
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I was able to fix the issue by unpluging the apple tv, router, and modem all for about 2-3 minutes and then replugging them in

When ever i go to watch videos on youtube or any other apps, the screen goes black. you can hear the video but you cant see anything. how do i fix this?

i have an ipod tough 3g and its like about 4 to 5 years old it works perfectly fine except the home button is abit messed up and the ipod sometimes crashes. but other than that everything is fine. so i was watching something on an app and then al of a sudden i dont see the video i can just hear it. i then think its just the app but when i go on youtube the same exact thing happens. you click to watch a video and you can hear it perfectly but you cant see anything. the screen is just black when u ONLY watch a video. this happened last night so yea.i really hope somebody can help me figure out how to fix this and whats wrongwith it:)

When it goes black do a very short press of the button on the right upper side of the phone and the screen will reappear. Make it a very short quick press.
OTOH, if you are using the speaker so you can watch the screen as you are talking when it goes dim touch the screen anywhere that it is blank and it will again go bright. On long calls you have to repeat this.
Many folks have had the same problem you described and what I have told you is the best and ONLY way around the screen going blank during a call.
