I know I dont have a post count, so take this with a grain of salt, but I just got my 1.83 delivered at work this morning. Indeed it does have the whine noise. But, like other people have commented, you can stop it by opening Photo Booth.
This is my first Mac laptop though, so I'm prepared to expect some little quirks here and there. All the complaints about the trackpad being stiff and whatnot may be true, but I'm upgrading from a $700 HP Pavilion laptop, so this thing is like a BMW to me.
If it gets annoying I may send it back but so far I'm prepared to deal with it.

Yes on my MBP 3,1 I had aritifacts in Lion, they are gone now because I wiped that bad cat off and went back to Snow where everything, inluding the UI, just works.
In fact I'm happier on this old 15" than I'm on my $4000 new 17" high res. I bought in a panic because of Lions release. (it has snow too)
So my first piece of advice would be to back up files and go back to Snow Leopard.
If your going to stick with Lion, then backup files and command r boot from the Recovery Partition and reinstall Lion there, you need a Ethernet or Wired Internet connection and some time as it takes a bit to download and then install.
By jsut reinstalling Lion (not erasing the disk first) it keeps your programs and files in place (but backup anyway)
Hopefully that might solve your issue, it didn't work for me three times, so I;m back on Snow and staying there.

My feed was approved earlier today, but I am having some problems getting my page on the iTunes store to update.

(Note: I have already pinged iTunes per the spec. I have also already tested the feed via a manual subscription request through the iTunes pulldown menu and successfully received the updated files.)
Modifications made to my initial episode are not appearing on my iTunes store page.
A test post that I added has also not appeared at the store.
Has the updating problem, which I saw posted about shortly before the new year, been solved?

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Have you ever checked to see if there is an update for your router? If yes, then power off router. Then on iPhone go into settings and do a reset network settings. Power router back on, and try connecting phone to router.

It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.

Try these basic troubleshooting steps.
Quit all apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or .... Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
For Safari ..... Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

Illustrator razterize shadows and other elements whitout my command, somebody has the same problem? How can i prevent this?

Several files i've detect this error or something. One day all elements on my design are vector, even shadows and patterns. I open it one day later and some elements are now rasterized graphics, and impossible to edit again, and obviously, i did'nt do that. This seems to me an error. Somebody has the same problem, or maybe Im doing something wrong? please help.

Are these old files that you edited in CS6 and then just saved (instead of save as)?

You're using an original iPad? Definitely upgrade to the newest version of iOS. Many apps will require iOS 5.1.1 and it will run fine on your iPad.

Has the antenna problem been sorted yet?

I'm a left-handed fellow, and I am having to upgrade from the 3g to the 4 because the 3g has just become unusable with iOS4 on it. I can't get iOS3 on my 3g which I am a bit annoyed about (or at least I don't think I can because I lost my iOS3 backups)!
Anyway, has the antenna problem for left-handed people been sorted out now? I hope so cos it'll annoy me that I have to buy a new phone that doesn't work properly just because the one I have did work, but now struggles to do so because of an OS upgrade I didn't want!

all phones are bound to have reception problems if you are in a area that gives you weak signals, and by holding on the death grip area. But if you live in a area with very strong signals, even if you hold it by the death grip, you should not lose the reception as it has no effect.
Just avoid holding where the black lines are, then you should be fine. If not then use a case. They do have a free case going on until sept. 30th.

In terms of the battery, if you are not already doing so you should go through at least one charge cycle per month i.e. charging to 100%, running it down so that powers off, and then charging back up to 100%, which should help keep the battery indicator accurate - it's recommended towards the bottom of this page http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html
I hadn't noticed any problems with the battery on my first gen iPad, but I've updated anyway.
