1 of the clips in my movie is cropped weird & you can only see bottom half.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I am putting a reel together with different footage and when I use the playback in Imovie 08 it is fine. However when I export it and I play it back, the one clip is only half in frame if that makes sense...

Ok, so I fixed my problem, and this might help, if you haven't gotten it fixed already. I had the problem while making one of a series of movies with three sections: Titles, movie, then credits, as usual. My titles and credits were imported m4ps, complete in and of themselves, but the movie was built between them. When I tried to publish the movie, the aspect ratio did not calculate the middle to match the titles or the credits. However, if I exported the movie as an m4p, and then imported it, they all published correctly. Titles, movie, and credits all appeared in 16:9 ratio.

Your phone might be on Zoom somehow, try just the simple "gestures" fix
Double tap with 3 fingers on the screen, then drag down. That should at least zoom out. If that does not work, try scrolling through the screen, but using 3 fingers instead of 1.
From there you should be able to access Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom>OFF

The current version of Firefox moves the tabs. Now the focus moves off the end of the row. I think this runs counter to the point of having tabs, if you can only see one at a time. How do I fix this

The tabs bar on 3.6 Firefox now focuses on the last tab in the row. This means that I can only effectively see one tab, unless I use the arrow button to scroll back through all the tabs. I am used to scrolling some, when there are a dozen tabs open, but How do I make the tab bar static, they way it used to be, so it stands still when I click on the last tab in the row.??

Thanks for taking a stab at it: that didn't prove to be the problem. That option in the settings for tabbed browsing was not checked.
I may be a bit behind the times: I am used to tabbed browsing showing all the tabs it possibly can, instead of just the last one. Sometimes it won't even show the last tab: I can have 15 tabs open, and not see a single tab. I've been confused by this into closing a window with lots of tabs open, because it looks like a single page-window.
My main problem with the tab-bar flashing to the end of the row is that it means a great deal more mouse-clicking around to browse.
I haven't tried installing the latest beta. Maybe that would fix the problem.

After the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan and save the file to desktop or documents. You can only see the image in the print preview area. Does anyone know how to fix this or when a fix will be out?

After Aple support downloaded the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade on my MacBook Air, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan a document and load the file on to my desktop or document file. (You can see the doc image in the preview but it doesn't save it.) Does anyone know an Apple fix for this or when the fix will be out? After hours of trying reloading, and the usual fixes, etc. Apple told me to call HP, and HP told me they don't support Mac. It does not seem honorable of Apple to put out an upgrade and not tell people it will destroy their scanning ability, and that the only thing to do is to buy another printer/scanner.

After the latest update to my OSX 10.9.3 I ca see only two Display resolutions 1366 x 768 & 1152 x 648 when I choose scaled in my display preferences. As per Apple site the new MacBook Air 11" can show many display resolutions
Supported resolutions:
1366 by 768 (native), 1344 by 756, and 1280 by 720 pixels at 16:9 aspect ratio; 1152 by 720 and 1024 by 640 pixels at 16:10 aspect ratio; 1024 by 768 and 800 by 600 pixels at 4:3 aspect ratio
Please advise how can I set the resolution to 1280 by 720 pixels as this resolution was more comfortable to me.

Were the missing photos in the camera roll on your iPad 2? The backup only includes camera roll photos.
If they were, but were not restored from the backup, if you still have the iPad 2, import the missing photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) then put them in a folder and sync them to your new iPad by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. (The only downside of this approach is that the only way they can later be deleted from your iPad is to sync them off again using iTunes. To get them in your camera roll you would need to use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them from your computer to the camera roll on your new iPad using you wifi.)

Number of movies for which you can only buy and not rent.

Is anyone getting aggravated by the number of movies on demand that you can only buy. It seems as if I am running into this issue all too frequently now. I am beginning to find this very upsetting given the amount of money I pay for my monthly service!!!! I guess this is just another ploy by a Verizon marketing guru to squeeze more dollars from subscribers. If this continues, I guess I'll either have to get Netflix or switch providers.

Apple TV 2 G - Can only see a few songs in my library, can't see any Movies

Just bought the Apple TV. I thought that once I setup Homesharing that I would be able to see my entire iTunes library including music and movies. Thus far I can only see a few songs.
I have updated my iTunes to 10.2 and checked for software updates on the Apple TV, but get the same results.
I am able to start playing a movie in iTunes and then select Apple TV from the list of devices at the bottom right corner of my iTunes library and it will then it will play on my TV, but if this is how I need to play every movie I'll be returning the Apple TV.

when I navigated on my Apple TV to Computers > "My iTunes Library" at the top of my TV displayed some of my music. I did not realize that I had to click on the "My iTunes Library" to get more option. Once I clicked on "My iTunes Library" I then saw all of the media options and all the music and movie titles. Can't believe it took me this long to figure out.

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

It appears what happened is the installer though it was looking at a empty drive and just went ahead and installed.
I of course am assuming here you didn't use Disk Utility to format the drive first before installing, that would wipe out your files and programs for sure.
So what to do, what to do.
Well there is hope for you as long as the drive wasn't Filevaulted.
I'll explain. When a hard drive writes data for the first time to a drive, it starts at the very top and works it's way down.
When OS X was installed the first time, it was at the top of the drive, unless you upgraded then the upgraded OS X could have been written elsewhere.
Now when you just reinstalled OS X, the new OS went on the top of the drive, overwriting any data that was there previously, so what was there you have lost forever which is about 8GB or so. If it was the previous OS there, then your more in luck because only the old OS X was overwritten.
The remaining space on the drive still can have a copy of your files, provided it's not overwritten yet.
It's because when a hard drive deletes data or reformats, it doesn't remove the data off the drive or overwrites it immediately, it's just made so it's SPACE is available for new files to be written there.
So technically one can recover the deleted data off a non-encrypted/scrubbed hard drive with special software.
The way it does this is it reads the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, and through a lot of figuring out, can tell what that file is and what it belongs too.
So what you will have to do is this:
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
or if you don't have the skills, then take it to a local PC/Mac tech and they can do a direct image of the drive and then you can run Data Rescue on it to rebuild your files.

The movie costs CHF 7.50.
A phone call to the support team costs CHF 46.-- !!!!!

This might be a problem with the movies themselves, where are they from, are they your own movies that you have converted yourself.

What happened to the option to see all your purchased movies alphabetically? I can only see recent purchases and then I have to look by movie type. With over 500 movies purchased this is a huge pain.

Same issue here. Might have to do with size of library. I too have over 300 purchased movies. "ALL PURCHASED" folder disappeared yesterday on all my AppleTV's. My son only has 20+ purchased movies and his still shows "ALL" folder. However, I had him log in under my account and "ALL" folder is missing??? I hope Apple gets this resolved quickly. I too do not want to flip through various Genres looking for movies.

This simply means it is set to Automatically update and you should not have to do anything with it.
When you put new music in iTunes , it will automatically go on the iPod next time you connect it.
This is the default to make it very simple and very easy to use.
If you want to do it all yourself, iTunes prefs -> iPod.
Set to Manually manage songs and playlists.
You have to drag songs to the iPod and delete them from the iPod.
