1 xml file to multiple xml files with 200 records in each

Hello Experts,
I have below scenario.
Please suggest me which might be the best approch to work on.
1) XML file to XML file
I will have 1 pretty huge XML file which i need to break in multiple XML files with 200 records each.
  1) first approch i can have bpm in which i can split the file according to my requirement.
  2) Second approch i can create 2 scenarios in which 1st scenario will pick up XML file and create multiple flat files with File content conversion. Second scenario will pick up all these flat files and create XML files.
2) XML file to XML file
Or i can have multiple files with 1 record per file and i need to merge in multiple XML files with 200 records in each.
So its kind of 1:N or M:N scenarios.
Please tell me which is might be better performance and design wise.
Or if you have any idea in any other way i can do this, then please reply as soon as possbile.
Please tell me if you have OS command for the same or some script to run or anything which i can implement.
Thanks,
Hetal

what is your senario? is it File to File?
You can use multi mapping concept without BPM. You can handle the 200 records per message logic in the multimapping.

It seems you are asking in wrong forum. AFAIK, you are asking "how to add HTTP header to response generated by my own script". It depend on WWW server we are speaking of and language of script itself. If you will fail to found solution within documentation of the HTTP server and/or scripting language you are using, then the better place for your question is a forum related to such language and HTTP server.
In meantime, you can try other solituin. The "Refresh: 0;..." header is required for correct function of SoftKey:Next which is displayed by default. But you can redefine the content of SoftKey area using your own key. Such configuration is part of DirectoryObject you sent to phone. See definition of SoftKey 3 in example bottom. It's not original SoftKey:Next that depend on Refresh header. It's my own custom soft-key named "Next" with exact URL defined as part of key definition (replace 'N' with number of next page). It doesn't depend on Refresh header in any way. You should consider such advice as "temporary workaround". You should discover how to send HTTP header 'Refresh'  from your script. Note, it's not possible to redefine one SoftKey only. If you wish to redefine a soft-key, then all soft-keys need's to be defined by you.

  • How to load unicode data files with fixed records lengths?

    Hi!
To load unicode data files with fixed records lengths (in terms of charachters and not of bytes!) using SQL*Loader manually, I found two ways:
Alternative 1: one record per row
SQL*Loader control file example (without POSITION, since POSITION always refers to bytes!)<br>
    LOAD DATA
    CHARACTERSET UTF8
    LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
    INFILE unicode.dat
    INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
    TRUNCATE

    B CHAR(6) ,
    C CHAR(2) ,
    D CHAR(1) ,
    E CHAR(4)
    ) Datafile:
    001111112234444
    01NormalDExZWEI
    02ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
    03ÄÜÖßêÊûÛxöööö
    04üüüüüüÖÄxµôÔµ Alternative2: variable length records
    LOAD DATA
    CHARACTERSET UTF8
    LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR
    INFILE unicode_var.dat "VAR 4"
    INTO TABLE STG_UNICODE
    TRUNCATE
    A CHAR(2) ,

Implementing these two alternatives in OWB, I encounter the following problems:
    * How to specify LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR?
    * How to suppress the POSITION definition?
    * How to define a flat file with variable length and how to specify the number of bytes containing the length definition?
Or is there another way that can be implemented using OWB?
    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Carsten.

    Hi Carsten
If you need to support the LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR clause in an external table then one option is to use the unbound external table and capture the access parameters manually. To create an unbound external table you can skip the selection of a base file in the external table wizard. Then when the external table is edited you will get an Access Parameters tab where you can define the parameters. In 11gR2 the File to Oracle external table can also add this clause via an option.
    Cheers
    David

If you are unable to enter the passcode into your device, you will have to restore the device to circumvent that passcode.
Is the music purchased from iTunes? If it is you can contact iTunes support and ask them to allow you to re-download the music that you purchased from iTunes.
Also, do you sync the device regularly? When syncing an iPod Touch/iPhone a backup file is made. That backup file doesn't contain your music but it does contain your address book, application data, pictures, notes, etc. After restoring your device, you can try restoring from the last backup that was made of your device so you will not have to start over completely from scratch.
    Hope this helps!

But if I give 31 as position in File adpater wizard, BPEL takes whole 1-31 as identifier.

  • Generate target/out file with header record as Record Count ?

Hi Kareem, Please try the below approach. Pipeline 1: Load actual data(without header with record count) from source to target. Let say your file name is intermediate1.dat Pipeline 2: Take the target from pipeline 1 as source and create the header with count of source file using an aggregator. The filename of target for pipeline 2 will be your final file(header and detail data). Pipeline 3: Take the target of pipeline 1 again and do 1-to-1 load to the target file of second pipeline. In session properties, dont forget to tick the check box append if exists for the third pipeline target. There may be other simple approaches also. If you have no time in hand try the above approach. Let me know if you find any issues. Thanks,Deeshan.

  • File Adapter creates file with old record.

    Hi,
I am working on Oracle Soa suite and trying to find out the the ways to Write file with the help of File Adaptor. But I find a problem with the file Adaptor that whenever I try to write updated rows to the file, it provides the earlier values in the rows and the new values are not written to the file.
    Regards
    Udit

    Hi Anton,
As Sudhir mentioned, there could be a problem of correct data. The best solution is :
Inside your RFC code just validate the code for empty values. e.g
    IF NOT ITAB_RFC[] IS INITIAL.
    **ITAB_RFC internal table data.
    ENDIF.
and after validating this, if still you are getting some file with "0" length, then check File Content Conv in your CC.

  • Exporting multiple video tracks as 1 file with different effects on each track.

I am currently trying to export 3 video tracks as 1 mp4.
Each track has exactly the same footage, but with different effects to achieve a certain aesthetic.
When I view the sequence it in premiere all 3 tracks are displayed correclty.
The exported version appears to only export the uppermost track, track 3.
Track 2 and 3 have opacity set to 47%.
Track 1 opacity is set to 100%.
I have tried exporting a test project that has multiple layers and there was no problem.
I have NOT tried exporting a test project with exactly the same opacities and effects, as it's a bit time consuming. I will do so if I can't get a stisafctory solution from the forums.
The problem, I believe, is down to the layering of effects. In this case on track 3 I have procamp, which is boosting the red in 1 layer. This is the image I get once the final piece is exported - track 3's.
    So..
How do I get the effects of each layer to show properly in the export?
    and
Why is the exported version missing tracks (or the effects of tracks) 1 and 2?

You didn't answer probably the most important question: whether you're using hardware or software Mercury Playback Engine (MPE). However, since you've set Maximum Render Quality on, it's largely irrelevant.
When you're using hardware MPE or have the MRQ flag set for your export, rendering is performed with linear color. Linear color processing affects how color channels and alpha channels are composited--anything less than 100% opacity is subject to linear color processing. Check out this article for more information on linear color/linear light: Linear Light - Artbeats
Since it sounds like you're seeing the results you expect in the Program Monitor, but not export, I'll wager you're not using hardware MPE. Only by disabling the Maximum Render Quality flag on export will you be able to get results that match what you see in the Program Monitor (within reason, of course). The only way you could see the effects of linear color within Premiere would be to either use a qualified GPU that enables hardware MPE, or go into your Sequence Settings and check the "Maximum Render Quality" option and then render previews.
Please let me know if that helps resolve the issue, or at least provide a little insight into the problem.

  • Sender FCC for CSV file with Reoccuring Record Structures

    Hello,
I am trying to use FCC to bring in an X12850 Purchase Order file layout WITHOUT using seeburger, etc.
The Configuration I have in place works if the text file is:
    Heading1
    Heading2
    detail1
    detail2
    detail3
    Footer1
    OR the text file contains:
    Heading1
    Heading2
    detail1
    detail1
    detail2
    detail2
    detail3
    detail3
    Footer1
Unfortunately, the file I need to work has the format:
    Heading1
    Heading2
    detail1
    detail2
    detail3
    detail1
    detail2
    detail3
    Footer1
When I try to send process this file I get the error ERROR consistency check in recordset structure validation (line no.6 : missing structure(s) before type detail1
Is it possible via FCC to bring in this file as XML?

If you change the record sequence to variable it works.

  • CSV file with text qualifiers around each field causing error on Import

    Hi
I have a csv file which I am trying to import - a one line extract is shown below. It is delimited by semi colon and each field has a text qualifier around it.
    XXX Drinks Ltd;"BR01";"1";"001.2008";"2008";"Distribution";"-186";"-186";"-186"
When importing i get the following issue
    1) BPC doesn't seem to handle the text qualifier for the fields. For example the "BR01" field above requires me to put a conversion as follows ""BR01"" i.e. I have to double the quotes because BPC adds them
    2) Even after the required conversion, BPC does not like the double quotes around the amounts, even though when validating the transform I get no error message, when running the import package I get the following message
    Record Count: 1
    Accept Count: 1
    Reject Count: 0
    Skip Count
The number of failing rows exceeds the maximum specified. (Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) Data Pump (8004202c): TransformCopy 'DTSTransformation__9' conversion error:  General conversion failure on column pair 1 (source column 'SIGNEDDATA' (DBTYPE_STR), destination column 'SIGNEDDATA' (DBTYPE_NUMERIC)).)
Does this my source file can't have double quotes as a text qualifier?
    thanks in advance
    Scott Farrington

    James, thanks for your reply
does that mean that BPC can't deal with the double quotes? I understand about removing them and using a comma for a delimiter, but this is the file format I have been given.
What I really need to know is, given this format, using a transformation and/or mapping function, can I import the data the way it is?
And I still need an answer to my second point, about the error message received on running the import package,
    thanks
    Scott

  • Need to Pick the file with continious records in File Sender

    Hi,
I am Working with File to Idoc Scenario. Where I am using Field Fixed length as FCC. The fixed length of each record is 200.
I am able to pick the first 200 characters.
    For example:
If the file has 600 characters continiously. The first 200 belong to first record and second from 201 to 400 and so on.
How can i control this in File adapter.
    Regards,
    Manoj

Your data type record should have an occurence of 0..unbounded or 1..unbounded. In file content conversion, leave the recordset per message empty.
Let's say you have the following structure:
    DT_MAIN_SEGMENT (0..1)
      RECORDSET (1..unbounded)
In file content conversion, DT_MAIN_SEGMENT will be your recordset name and RECORDSET will be your recordset structure.

  • LSMW load a file with different record format

anyone can help me out here?
I am trying to load a file which has exactly same record format except for the first line, and the first line is not neglectable. If i want to load this file to SAP within one LSMW load, is it feasible?
    thanks in advance.

LSMW records fields screen by screen.  When you have recorded your LSMW, the country code, company code and personnel area are in the first screen.  So, this data must be on every line of your data file.
Example of how your data file should be:
    Country     CoCd      Pers.Area         Field1DataLine1          Field2DataLine1         ...
    Country     CoCd      Pers.Area         Field1DataLine2          Field2DataLine2         ...
    Country     CoCd      Pers.Area         Field1DataLine3          Field2DataLine3         ...

  • Publish multiple ical calendars with different colours for each calendar

    hi
i am wanting to publish either multiple iCal calendars or a calendar group online so that the colours are preserved for different calendars. it would seem that the MobileMe published calendars still only support one colour (blue). could someone recommend another method of publishing read only iCal calendars online, preferably free, but i don't mind paying a small amount
    thanks

    Dear Ruben
I would love to know how you can make some events Private.
We use ical and sync to Google Calendar, but when I create events in iCal, there is no option to make it private.
We have created a CalDAV connection to Google Apps Calendar, so any help about why there is no check box for Private would be appreciated.

  • One to many xml files with file adaptor

    Hi,
I have a scenario HCM-ABAPProxy--XI-File for one structure I need to generate multiple xml files with 100 records per file.
    this is my input  messag
    MT_in
      Node
         PositionIDs
            descrption
            job
            IsActive
what I was doing on the ABAP side for every node I have 100 PositionID's sub nodes. so each node should be a sperate file.
    my output structure is
    PositionIDs
        PositionID
          pid
          description
          job
so there should be one PositionIDs per file which contains 100 PositionID.
I've multi message mapping without BPM that did not work out just wondering if any one came across the same scenario.
    thanks,
    Joe

You can not create multiple files without BPM. You can pretty much perform multi mapping to achieve your split but to write it to a file, you will have to call the file adapter for each split which you can not do without using BPM. In BPM, for each split that you perform, you can use a send step in for-each loop which will give you the functionality you require.

  • How can i compare two excel files with different no. of records.

    Hi
I am on to a small project that involves us to compare two excel files. i am able to do it but am struck up at a point. When i compare 2 different .csv files with different no. of lines i am only able to compare upto a point till when the number of lines is same in both the files.
Eg. if source file has 8 lines and target file has 12 lines. The difference is displayed only till 8 lines and the remaining 4 lines in source lines are not shown.
Can you help me in displaying those extra 4 lines in source file. I am attaching my code snippet below..

A CSV file is not an Excel file.
But apart from that your logic makes no sense.
If the 2 files are of different sizes the files are different by definition, so further comparison isn't needed, you're done.
If you want to compare individual records, you need to compare all records from one file with all records from the other, unless the order of records is important in which case your current system might work.
That system however is overly complicated for comparing CSV files.
As you assume a single record per line, and if one can assume those records to have identical layout (so no leading or trailing whitespace in or between columns in one file that's not in the other) comparing records is simply a matter of comparing the entire lines.
