10g Text Item Editor Not Working Correctly

We're having problems with the Text Item Editor in both Add and Edit modes, but esp. in Edit mode. The problems range from getting a gray text screen (no toolbar); getting a white editor screen (no toolbar); tools that do not load (e.g. font color); and tools that do not work even though everything else seems fine. Sometimes refreshing the screen works but not always. Our users are getting very frustrated continually refreshing and logging out/in. It's become worse in the past few weeks such that it occurs in nearly every instance when editing a text item.
Can anyone point us in a possilbe direction? We are using IE 6.0 and above as the browser.

I have a manual that contains headings and index entries that contain less than and greater than characters, < and >. The Publish to Responsive HTML5 function escapes these correctly in the main body of the text but does not work correctly in either the Contents or the Index of the generated HTML. In the Contents the words are completely missing and in the index entries the '\' characters that are required in the markers remain in the entry but the leading less than symbol and the first character of the word is deleted; hence what should appear as <dataseries> appears as \ataseries\>. I believe this is a FMv12 bug. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the FM team aware and working on a fix. Any suggestions for a workaround?

The Index issue is more complicated since in order to get the < and > into the index requires the entry itself to be escaped. So, in order to index '<x2settings>' you have to key '\<x2settings\>'. Looking at the generated index entry in the .js file we see '<key name=\"\\2settings\\>\">. This is a bit of a mess and produces an index entry of '\2settings\>'. This ought to be '<key name=\"&lt;x2settings&gt;\" >'. I have tested this fix and it works - but the worst of it is that the first character of the index entry has been stripped out. Consequently I cannot fix this with a few global changes - and I have a lot of index entries of this type. I'm looking forward to a response to this since I cannot publish this document in its current state.

Keynote Text box transition not working correctly

Having issues trying to create an animated build-in effect on a bulleted textbox in Keynote ("Scale Big" and "By Character") - I am using Keynote v6.1
I have created it many times before but for some reason the latest version of keynote refuses to render it properly. I choose the text box, then animate and "Build In" is selected as default, then I:
- Click on "Add an Effect"
- Select "Scale Big"
- Select "By Character" (under "Text Delivery" option) and then preview
However, the effect that is rendered is the same as the "By Object" option. This effect used to work for me befroe but only recenlty is givin me issues.
Anybody else face the same issue ? Please advise - it's one of my favorite effects in my presentations

Scale Big - By Character works correctly for me, I suggest you repair Keynote by doing the following:
ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
1 delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote by using Appcleaner from Mac Update to      do this, its freeware
2 restart the Mac;   Apple menu > restart
3 immediately after the start chime, press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
     let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
4 when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and      click repair disc permissions
5 when complete, restart the Mac normally
6 install Keynote from the Mac App Store

The intellisence fuctionality in ABAP editor not working correctly

I have an issue getting the intellisence to work correctly. It will sense the word and show it but when I hit enter for it to copy it just goes to the next line. I tried changing the keyboard settings but htis doens't do anything either.

Tab works for me too. Enter does not. SAPGUI 7.10 patch 19.
But there appears to be several areas to look for changes:
1) Tweak SAP GUI
2) In the bottom right corner of the editor, there's a small icon that looks like a page. Press it, and a new screen will open.
Select "Keyboard", and scroll down to Edit.Autocomplete and experiment with settings.
3) Change an xml setting by editing file (depending on operating system):
    a) c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\SapWorkDir\ab4_data\settings.xml.
    b) look for the section "Code_Completion"
    c) change value from 0 to 1 in 1{/CodeHintAgreeByReturn}

&ITEM. syntax not working correctly in logout_url

I have made my own logout procedure (which is part of a package) and am calling it from logout url as follow:
web_tool_authentication.logout?p_username=&APP_USER.&p_this_flow=&APP_ID.&p_next_flow_page_sess=&APP_ID.:1:&SESSION.
When I run the htmldb app, the &APP_USER. item is not correctly substitued in the logout url. It treats &APP_USER. as a literal value. This, however, is not the case for &APP_ID. and &SESSION. Does anyone know why this is occurring? Thank you for any suggestions.

The problem is that &LOGOUT_URL. is a substitution item that might itself contain other substitution items. We don't do recursive substitutions on that particular name, we just replace the occurrences of the commonly used items in a logout url. Perhaps APP_USER should be one of those, but it presently is not.

SCRIPT/TRIGGER editor not working correctly - red box - codearea.htc

I have installed HTMLDB on my computer, and everything works fine, except when I try to edit or create a procedure, script, or trigger, instead of the blue box which allows edit happening it is instead a red box. This box cannot be edited. When trying to compile code already uploaded, a javascript error is produced: Length value is null.
Please help me. I think that I might have a problem with the type of editor( codearea.htc)

You will need to setup the MIME types properly in your HTTP server configuration. Please take a look into the Oracle HTML DB Installation guide / chapter 4: Oracle HTML DB post-installation tasks.

Text formatting in Numbers is not working correctly.

In Numbers on Chrome text formatting is not working correctly, it's almost as if a CSS file is not being loaded. To be precise, when I try to make a cell Bold there is no bolding. I am using Arial as a font. This has been an issue on Mac and Windows. Any ideas?

Do you have the same problem with Safari or Firefox?

Item text in table not printing correctly

Hi All,
I have a requirement to display Purchase Order Line Item Text in one of the column in a table. I used table to do this, but it is not working correctly, when there is more data (more than one page) in long text.
Columns using in the table
EBELP MATNR LONG TEXT QTY CURRENCY PRICE Delivery Date
Then, I used Subforms to achieve this, but i have a problem using this also. If the long text overflows then other fields after the long text are printing on the last page.
    EBELP MATNR LONG TEXT               - First Page
   LONG TEXT QTY CURRENCY PRICE DELIVERY DATE - last page.
But, i am looking for a pattern to print
          EBELP MATNR LONG TEXT QTY CURRENCY PRICE DELIVERY DATE
                                   IF IT OVERFLOWS
                                   ONLY LONG TEXT ON NEXT LINES.
Please suggest me how to do this.

I am working on OBIEE 11.1.1.3 and having problem problem linking 2 analisys with action link
The test case is:
I have 2 attribute columns on a dimension
1. Conto 1 Code
2. Conto 1 Dsc (in RPD i set up the property Descritor ID of -> Conto 1 Code)
3. Conto 2 Code
4. Conto 2 Dsc (in RPD i set up the property Descritor ID of -> Conto 2 Code)
5. Conto Detail
and 1 measure on the fact table
1. Revenue (defined on RPD as simple sum)
On presentation layer i have the analisys:
1.
The First one using as Criteria: Conto 1 Dsc | Conto 2 Dsc | Revenue
The layout is a table with sub-total on Conto 1 Dsc
On Revenue i created an action link to the second analisys containing

Criteria: Conto 1 Dsc | Conto 2 Dsc | Conto Detail | Revenue
Filters: Conto 1 Code (is prompted) | Conto 2 Code (is prompted)
This pair of analisys are working fine.
Then i created a second pair of analisys as:

Criteria: Conto 2 Dsc | Revenue
Using Calculated group \ Items i created a numerous set of sub-totals
On Revenue i created an action link to the second analisys containing

Criteria: Conto 2 Dsc | Conto Detail | Revenue
Filters: Conto 2 Code (is prompted)
This pair of analisys are not working correctly. When i drill from first analisys to second one the Conto 2 Code filter is not used.
Replacing in the second analisys Conto 2 Code (is prompted) with Conto 2 Dsc (is prompted) a filter is being generated on the drill but it's using the Conto 2 Code value and the analisys ends with no results.

Try adding Conto 2 code to the first analysis and keep the filter on the second analysis as Conto 2 code is prompted.

HT201365 my text to send messages is now not working correctly after upgrading

Since upgrading last week my text is not working correctly it is very slow does not show the letter being used and takes seconds to be put in

Looking into the Diagnostics and Usage Reports in 'Settings' -> 'General' -> 'About' I see nine different "ExcResource_MobileMail_DATE" reports. Looking at the report I see a SysInfoCrashReport that indicates that the CPU was pegged at over 50% (mostly over 75%) for over 180 seconds using the MobileMail app.
I also see a "MobileMail_DATE" report that indicates that there was an 'Exception raised during monitored invocation of _loadMoreMessagesWithMaxVisibleIndexPath:maximumIndexPathsBySource:, exception: ** -[__NSArrayM objectAtIndex:]: index 4294967295 beyond bounds for empty array"
And finally I see three "stacks+MobileMail-DATE" reports with "Power assertion timeout for 'com.apple.message.fetchMobileSynchronously...' Simply resetting it now." and "Power assertion timeout for 'com.apple.mobilemail.messagebodyloader' Simply resetting it now" reports.
I updated to iOS 7.0.4 and decided to try and delete the account in my Mail settings and recreate it and set it to manual instead of the non-working fetch. Now, when I try to check my mail it still takes up to five minutes to respond, pulling the screen to refresh brings up the spinner for about one second and then disappears and no indications of activity occur until about three minutes later when I see the spinner in the status bar near the clock and then see a notification that it's downloading X of Y messages. At that point, message headers come in very quick and then about a minute later message previews come in. At random times, opening the mail app I get a "Password incorrect" error, even though the password works on other attempts.

** Filtering is not working correctly in ALV (REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY)

We have one Z report that output is displayed in ALV. We are using the standard FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
We have requirement to remove leading zeros for the field like Material Number (MATNR), Equipment Number (EQUNR) etc. We did the changes by applying the field catalog properties as below.
lw_fieldcat-lzero = space.
lw_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'.
After this, the MATNR and EQUNR is displayed correctly in the ALV. (Leading zeros are suppressed). But, when we do filter for these fields, in the filter window it displays all the values with leading zeros.
1. We don't understand why it is showing in the Filter widow with all leading zeros. All it shows all the records instead of unique items.
Later on, we removed the above fieldcat coding. Then, we have called the CONVERSION_EXIT routines (in the domain) for the fields to remove leading zeros.
Now, the MATNR and EQUNR is displayed correctly (without leading zeros) in ALV. When we do filter, it is also doing filtering correctly. But, when we do filter which have EQUNR having long values (after zero suppression), it is not working correctly. i.e no items are displayed in the ALV.
Not only for this items. If we filter character columns which have long text, it is not filtering correctly.
2. It is not able to understand why the filtering is not working for long items. But in the standard report, the filtering is working correctly.
We are using SAP ECC 6.0.
Friends, can you clarify the about doubts. It is surprising for me.

I agreed on your point. When we define the Internal table the type for element EQUNR & QUMNR , we are referring the SAP data element for EQUNR, QMNUM field.
Our doubt is even though we refer the standard data element, in the ALV display, it shows with leading zeros and also it creates problems in the filtering and in the filter window all values instead of unique nos.

Property inspector not working correctly

The property inspector in CS3 is not working correctly. When
I select text or any other object the property inspector does not
change for that object. But when I right mouse click on the
selected object it does. Do I need to change a setting?

Yes, me too. I can't find an answer to this anywhere.
If I right-click or double-click on an item the property
inspector shows it, but if I single click, nothing happens. It's
bad for productivity.

Spry menu formatting not working correctly in DW CS6

I've installed a spry menu but the formatting is not working correctly.
The hover colour works correctly but the selected menu item colour does not change. Only the home menu tab remains coloured.
Please can anyone suggest what might be wrong?

Ah. OK. I've found the problem. On the every page I've got a class=current attribute to the <a> tag for the home menu item.
Now, since this menu code is in a template as part of the top part of every page, it means that this is also included on all the other pages of the site. How do I get this attribute to be different on each page that uses the template?

"Help" menu in finder is not working correctly

My "Help" menu in the finder menubar is not working correctly. If I type in a query that can't be found, instead of telling that it can't be found, underneath the search field it just displays "Searching..." indefinitely. This is no matter what application I'm in when I access the menu. I have tried the advice in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6389569&#6389569 and that does not work. Using OS 10.5.1

I'd like to add that when I search, it will find menu commands (highlight relevant menu commands) but not return any actual help results. To clarify, this is when searching directly from the "help" menu bar item. Searching from within the help window seems to work fine.
