15-f019dx downgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 7 home premium 64 bit: need drivers

Hp Pavilion 15-f019dx downgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
Stopped:
Internet driver
Wireless
USB controller
Network Controller
PCI Device
PCI simple communications controller
SM bus controller
maybe other stuff I haven't noticed?
I see others on this forum have had similar problems going back to windows 7. I tried some of their driver solutions that were posted, but to no avail. Can I get some help? Maybe some links to where I can find drivers to help me? Windows update cannot find and automatically install replacement drivers.

Hi:
Looking at the hardware specs for your model you should be able to use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G2 on your model except the BIOS and firmware files.
Your model uses the Intel HD graphics driver and the Realtek RTL8188EE wireless card driver.

  • T500 Windows 7 Home Premium Bit to Bit transition

I bought a T500 with 4GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium 32Bit Russian
As I read in When is it possible to switch between 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Microsoft Operating Systems by u..., I "might" have the rights to put in its place 64Bit OS.
Local support is unfortunately can not say anything useful.
Supporter told me that at the moment there are no codes for certain Recovery Media. And will it appears or not - unknown.
Anybody knows will be the new versions of the Recovery Media or not. And if not, whether there is any other opportunity to put the64 Bit version OS with Lenovo key.

    Hi,
In a peer-to-peer setup, every computer are both client and server. each computer communicates directly with others in the network. It's much more common in the home.
You need have a router (possibly with wireless capability) and the necessary Ethernet cords to run the router to the modem and from the router to all of your computers.
Then add them in the same workgroup or HomeGroup.
Here is a detailed guide, please follow that step by step:

  • Upgraded my NB505 mini netbook from win 7 starter to 7 home premium. Then cam & mic stopped working.

I upgraded my NB505 mini netbook from win 7 starter to win 7 home premium. My cam and mic worked fine directly before the upgrade. I tried to reboot, reinstal the drivers, and redownload the app, but nothing worked. When I open the cam app, the blue cam light cuts on, but there is no feed onscreen. It will "take" pics and videos in the sense that it will show a preview of a default pic but not the one taken. These media files are unopenable, because they aren't real. please help!!!

When you upgrade properly, no drivers or utilities are disturbed. And it takes only minutes.

  • Lenovo U400 windows 7 home premium Bit disables easycam

I am having trouble opening up the easycam program. The integrated camera works, I know because I can skype with it, but I cannot open up the easycam program just to take pictures. It's recognized in device manager and I've un-installed/installed multiple times. I've read through the forum and I haven't found a solution. I called support and they can only recommend that I ship my laptop to them. Before I do that does anyone have any other suggestions.

  • I recently downgraded from Mountain Lion back to Snow Leopard and I forgot to export my bookmarks.

Unfortunately downgrading from Mountain Lion back to Snow Leopard means I need to wipe the hard drive and install everything from scratch. That takes hours, and I've already done the bulk of the work, twice actually since I forgot to back up my photos in Iphoto and had to start over from my Time Machine backup of Mountain Lion.
Anyhow, I am curious as to whether or not there is a way to retrieve my bookmarks from the Time Machine backup and get them onto my downgraded OS, or will I have to start all over again, restore my system to Mountain Lion and go through the hours it takes to get back to Snow Leopard.

You're missing the point. If you didn't make the /username/Library/ folder visible, then it's hidden on the TM backup. Getting to ii is beyond my ken. However,  Pondini's TM FAQs might have info on that madness.

  • Disconnecting WEB SSL VPN client windows 7 to remote windows 7 virtual machine

    Good morning,
my problem, common to other colleagues who use Windows machines 7 Professional is this:
I connect to WEB SSL VPN Cisco from Client Windows 7 Home Premium Explorer-9 to a virtual machine Windows 7 Professional using a specific professional audience and vpn user. I access the Terminal Services window (attached JPG) with a list of links to virtual machines.I connect to the virtual machine in Remote Desktop Full Screen mode and log in with the same user and password. For the connection is installed an add-type control ActiveX CISCO Portforwarder Control version 3.1.0.1, file name -> cscopf.ocx.
Problem: The session window once inside the virtual machine disappears and disconnect from the virtual machine back in the window of choice of Terminal services available. This always happens and there is no way to maintain a stable connection. With modality not FULL SCREEN, the session window would seem to remain stable but however is impossible to work in a small window.
This problem is raised after the update windows 7 to SP1 both Home premium and Professional. In fact before the update the connection is stable. The update to SP1 update the RDP client microsoft to version 6.1.7601.17154 from version 6.1.7600 but i do not know if this the cause of the problem.
Have you an update of CISCO active-x to fix the problem? I cancelled the file and download the last version but the problem remains.
Workaround: Use local virtual machine with xp or windos 2003 and access form this operating system but I consider absurd to use a local
virtual machine to access a service which should be directed
Note: This problem does not occur if the VPN session to the virtual machine Windows 7 is launched from a host machine running Vista Home Premium with RDP Client 6.0. My previous PC had this OS and I was working in an absolutely stable by performing the same type of connection.
Host Operating System: OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
OS virtual machine accessed via ssl web vpn: OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
    Can you help?Thank you.

    No

The same problem here as well.
I am using a Win7 PC to connect to an Win Vista PC via SSLVPN. Once i logged into the remote PC, the session is disconnected.
Do we have any corrections from Cisco for the moment?

  • Windows 7 to replace Vista Home Permium

New HP Touchsmart--second generation.  Have completed recovery disk creation.  Want to replace Vista with Windows 7.  Can I use recovery disks to restore HP and other program files?  Install of Windows 7 to replace Vista Home Premium will wipe disk as I understand.  Tried to backup files and failed.  How many disks will it take.  Because it is new, there are no files other than what came on the computer.

Backup files means back up your data files (just in case something unexpected happens).
If you do an upgrade to Windows 7, your applications and data will still be there. There will be some applications that will not work. You will need to go to www.hp.com/support to download the application/driver updates for your system model.

  • Downgrading from windows 8.1 single language to windows 8

Hi, i want to downgrade my laptop pavilion g6 2231tx from windows 8.1 single language to windows 8 which came in default with my laptop.
My question: since my lappy came pre installed with the windows 8 (64bit) and then got upgraded. So if i refresh my pc via the recovery partition on my HDD will it revert back to win 8 or do i have to use the recovery discs i made and will i lose my entire data on C:
Reason :  i am facing a lot of issues with my laptop recently specially while gaming i never faced any issues with gaming earlier when my lappy was running win 8 no lag or drop in fps as such but since i upgraded (which was against my will as microsoft one fine day decided to throw win 8.1 down on my face) . Some how was able to get the amd radeon switchable graphics back up and running but it seems it has no practical use over there  as such
apart from that my computer  has degraded in performance since i have upgraded i tried to use win 8.1 since the past 1 year just coz it had all my programming IDE loaded and removing it would just be all the more hassel but even those applications have started responding really slow now most just take up hell  lot of load time.
    my system specs are :
2.4 GHz Intel Core i3-3110M processor
    4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7670M (1 GB DDR3 dedicated)
Looking forward to your early replies. thanks in advance

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
I am not going to try and talk you out of doing this -- you are the administrator.
You might be in for a rough ride regardless of which path you take back to Windows 8.
Standard Refresh removes your installed programs and your installed Browsers -- the security programs -- everything that is not "bare bones" -- and that assumes that it will work.
READ please and know what you are trying to do:
HP PCs - Refresh Your PC to Resolve Problems (Windows8) - c03538721
The Recovery Partition may -- or may not -- still be in working order.  The Upgrade to Windows 8.1 may have destroyed the Recovery Manager.
Before you do ANYTHING, please back up all your data to an external drive -- back up your most critical data to more than one place, perhaps to a USB drive or to Cloud >> somewhere so you can get to it.
What if your home made Recovery Disks do not work?
You might call HP and see if you can purchase a Recovery Set.  Because you have a working computer right now, you might make the call BEFORE you take apart your Operating System.

  • Windows XP Pro SP2 cd-rom after downgrading from Vista

    Hi everybody.
I successfully downgraded my T61p from Vista to XP Pro SP2 using the downgrade cd-roms send by Lenovo.
Everything seems to work well. I downloaded all drivers. No problem.
But I recently installed a rather old software that I frequently used on my old A31p. This software (a Microsoft program !) has automatically modified some files from XP Pro without any autorization.
Once it was done, I was asked by the system to insert the original Windows XP Pro SP2 cd-rom to repair this modification.
Of course, the (Vista to XP) downgrade cd-rom set was not recognized by the Thinkpad as the original XP set.
    An original cd-rom which I finally don't have !
I tried with an original XP Pro SP2 cd-rom bought a few years ago for my A31p. Unsuccessful.
Where could I find the XP Pro SP2 cd-rom corresponding to the downgraded system ?
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
    Regards.

    Thinkpad A31p - T42p - T61p - TP Tablet

    James,
    thanks for your answer.
But I wrote on my first post "I tried with an original XP Pro SP2 cd-rom bought a few years ago for my A31p. Unsuccessful."
Thus, I don't see any difference between an original Microsoft Windows XP2 Pro SP2 version cd-rom and one created by burning a downloaded version of the OS. An original was not recognized, what would a copy do ?
If possible, it might be probably better to create an XP Pro SP2 cd-rom from the "Rescue and Recovery" files which were reinstalled when downgrading from Vista to XP. (I hate the word "downgrade" : while I was doing it, I had the feeling I was upgrading my Thinkpad !)
I have been using for several years (and still use) an A31p (Since 2002, 8 to 10 hours a day) and a T42p. IMHO, the T61p is the same category of "great" notebooks. Thinkpads are really the best notebooks I have ever used. I noted no significant difference between IBM and Lenovo Thinkpads.

  • How Do I Downgrade From Windows Vista To XP On A 3000 N100 Series Notebook?

Hello. Here is the problem. I have Windows Vista Pre-loaded on my 3000 N100 Notebook, absolutely dislike this operating system and want to erase and load Windows XP. From reading other forum messages I have learned several things.
    1) The install disk On Windows XP Home & Professional will not recognize Sata Hard Drives, when it reaches the point of loading where it looks for the hard drive it "BOMBS OUT" with error messages.
    Several options are open .............
    1) Log into the BIOS, locate the SATA option, and change to compatibility mode.
    2) Have a USB external floppy connected with a Sata Driver on it and when installing Windows XP press the "F6" button when Windows asks for any external drivers you want to load.
Here is the problem with the 3000 N100 Notebook series..........
1)There is "NO SATA OPTION" in the BIOS of the 3000 N100 series notebooks to choose. In this model Lenovo stripped the BIOS down to the bare essentials.......and I Do Mean.... "BARE". The latest BIOS upgrade also has no Sata option. Why they did not offer at least this choice of downgrading to XP is beyond me. LENOVO..... I'm not impressed with your notebook.  As usual.... Microsoft has all vendors jumping to their tune..... Nothing but "VISTA" at this point in time. What if you hate it??????
    2) I have hunted all over the Lenovo Web Site for a "SATA DRIVER" that would work with a 3000 N100 Notebook, no such critter exists.  LENOVO..... Couldn't you have at least offered this????  I'M NOT IMPRESSED.
Has anyone been able to downgrade to Windows XP successfully on a 3000 N100 Series Notebook??? How Did You Do It?? Has Anyone Located A "SATA DRIVER" That Works???  IF So, Please Explain To Me Step-By-Step How I Can Get Rid of Vista and Load XP.
    Help........Help.......Help........Help......Help!!!!!!!!!!!
    Regards

Hello Himleung. Thank you for answering this message. Where did you find a "Sata Hard Drive Driver" that works?? Perhaps you could pass that along to this message forum in case someone else that has a 3000 N100 (may also work with the N200 series) Notebook wants to downgrade from Vista to Windows XP.
This is what baffles me to no end. The Lenovo web site has every driver you need to load Windows XP on the notebook.....**EXCEPT**..... the Sata HD Driver......**OR**...... the ability in BIOS to change to "compatability mode".  Duh!!!..... whats wrong with this story. I have never seen such a weak BIOS as the one in the 3000 N100. If I had known this I probably would have gone to another brand. They should have advertised this notebook as...... "Non-Geek Compatible".
Not knowing exactly how you could forward the driver to me I did the following....... I created a new Web email location that you could use to send the driver as an email attachment. The address is....... [email protected] This address will exist just long enough to obtain the driver..... and then......"Hasta-La-Vista" baby......end of story......as I do not want to be bombarded with ads, trash, or perhaps a virus of some sort..... although.....I'm SURE we have GREAT PEOPLE on this message center.
I'm not familiar with the "NLITE" program you mentioned. Again....perhaps you could mention where I can get it and what I need to do to set the program up to run the driver.
    Thanks again, Himleung.
    Regards,

The "downgrade" will not be free. You will have to buy Windows7 or have a real licensed copy available.

    Hi,

  • How to downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7 g580

    hi
i  would like to install Windows 7  instead Windows 8  in my g580.
there is some guide or how-to to can do it?
many thanks and sorry for my English

    Hi Rick,
I am in a similiar predicament where I had just bought Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 with Windows8 only (not Win8 Pro).
My current apps does not run on Win8.
As such, I need to take the path to downgrade to Windows 7 Pro.
What are my options to do this?
I'm thinking of taking the route of
(step1) Purchase the Upgrade Pack from Windows 8 to Windows 8 Pro
(step2) Then, downgrade my Windows 8 Pro to Windows 7 Pro.
    Will this work ?
I heard conflicting messages that  there is no downgrade rights to Win7 Pro, from an upgrade Win 8 Pro.
I am really confused now. Help!!!
