16:9 HD Content in Letterbox mode on 4:3 TV with VMS Client?

With the old Motorola box, when I watched 16:9 HD content on my old 4:3 non-HD TV (don't ask), I was able to watch in Letterbox mode (black bars on top and bottom). Now with the VMS Client box, HD content is reformatted for 4:3. Is there a way to watch HD content in Letterbox mode with an IPC box?

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.
"And how can I check to see if the pics and videos are on my computer somewhere first??"
They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Solaris 9, /var/sadm/install/contents and fix-modes issues

I'm in the middle of patching a bunch of systems right now using Martin Paul's PCA and Casper Dik's fix-modes and I'm getting some rather odd error messages from fix-modes after installing the Recommended and Security patches from 06 August 2007.
I'm seeing this on better than a dozen machines right now, and it doesn't seem to be consistent on which entries have the problems.
Here's a snippet of the fix-modes output:

IMHO the only thing that should modify the contents of /var/sadm/install/contents is a system utility. There is work currently underway to update the way that this file is modified.

More Content for Create Mode

Currently, the vast majority of content in the store is costumes. I would like to see more content that we can use to build levels with (that's what LBP is all about, right?). More creator packs with material, objects, stickers, and decorations would be awesome. Also, I think it would be awesome if a backgrounds pack was released!Additionally, maybe more items for our tools bag could be thrown in (more inators, object tweakers, world tweakers such as weather and stuff like that).Anyway, I think it's safe to say that we have enough costumes to last us for awhile.Bring on the create mode content!

As it has been said many times, nobody knows until apple announces it. Thats all anybody can say.
Why is it not available now?
Becasue the Canadian contnet owners have not authorized Apple to sell any video content. Its up to them, not Apple.

Are you using a valid Apple charger that came with the iPad?
Attempting to use a computer USB port, an incompatible charger, or attempting to charge via a wall socket that only receives power from a wall switch — can all lead to a low, or depleted battery condition. Has this iPad been wet, or dropped?
Verify all of the above, and correct. If the iPad still cannot hold a charge, consider taking to an Apple Store, or authorized service provider to evaluate it.

If they are iTunes purchased/downloaded ibooks then as long as they are still in the store you should be able to re-download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app on the second device. For ebooks and epubs from other sources you will need to sync them - even though they aren't iTunes purchases you should be able to copy them from a device to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync them to the other device. You can then keep bookmarks and collections in-line between the two devices via Settings > iBooks on the two devices (the 'sync collections' will keep collections in-line between devices, but it won't copy the copy the actual ibooks between devices).

Try a hard reset:- hold the home button AND the power switch - ignore the red "Slide to power off" and wait ubntil the iPhone powers down, and then restarts - at the Apple logo, release all the buttons and see if your contacts reappear.

simple way, create a static HTML page with your company logo (or empty page) and upload to KM, assign it to existing Home role as a KM document iview that loads first.(make entry point - yes).
assign the role to everyone group with property -sort priority 10 for role (low compared to all other roles)

I keep getting the error message: Adobe reader cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatibility with your system configuration.
I have Windows 7 Home basic Service pack 1 and have already uninstalled and re-downloaded Adobe reader XI twice. I have also read other threads on this forum, and
tried the suggestions, including running Kaspersky anti-rootkit, no threats were found.
My Adobe reader shortcut icon shows a small blue and yellow shield in the bottom right (I uninstalled Windows essential protection), but the problem prevails.
I would rather get to the root of the error and fix it and not just disable protection mode!

1) Where are you seeing the message - on Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, or something else?
2) What operating system are you using?
3) What version of Adobe Acrobat/Reader are you using? (You can check it at Help > About Adobe Acrobat/Reader menu.)
