2.2 SOFTWARE makes iphone worse
I lose connection 70% of the time, to the point where i have to either turn off and on the phone. MY 3g/E connection, goes away for extensive periods of time.
I probably have to reboot my phone 4-5times a day. And i just purchased this 3G Iphone 2weeks ago.

im sorry but i am so fed up with this ****** phone, i have to vent.. today its 4:32pm and i have no service on my phone, and this is the 3rd time this has happened today, and everytime i had to turn my phone on and off.. and now it just says no service and has been like this for 10mins.. like apple get it right! If your going to come out with a product make it workable.
Still no service and its been 12mins now! And its ******** cause i cant go into the apple store and REPLICATE the problem, and if they cant replicate it they cant replicate it, they cant do **** about it!

Where are you and where did you get the phone. This sounds like a classic symptom of someone who bought an iPhone that originated in the U.S. which was then hacked so it would run on a carrier network other than AT&T... Then, when updating the phone, it becare re-locked to AT&T.
If that's what happened, you now own a paperweight. AT&T will NOT unlock them for any reason.
If this isn't the case, please clarify where you are, what carrier you have and where you got the phone so we can begin troubleshooting. -

First message I get when I connect the iphone is
"The software on iphone has expired and must be updated to a newer version"
Then it tries to backup but I get
"Itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone could not be determined"
When I click check for updates it says I have the latest version (5.0)
When I try to restore I always get "iTunes could not backup the iphone because a session could not be started with the iphone. Please disconnect and reconnect the iphone, then try again"
Tried that MANY times but no luck.
This iphone was on a developper account but it is not anymore (removed from developper account).
I'm the administrator on my PC. When I'm on the summary of my iphone it shows N/A as my phone number.
Back up to icloud doesn't work because I didn't set it up before it stopped working
When I try to activate it directly from the iphone I always get "Could not activate iphone. Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarely unavailable..." (for the past 3 weeks :s)
I can access my music and everything from itunes.
I even tried to restore it from the ispw file (using shift + restore) but I got an error message (sorry I don't remember which one) but it didn't work.
I also tried device manager, select PC, scan hardware for changes (read it worked for some) but not for me after that I don't get the

The speaker of my iPhone 5 probably doesn't work and I don't know the reason although some of my friends said to me don't buy it because the software of iPhone 5 have some problems but I didn't listen to them
Check this support document for SIM issues http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4148. No one here is Apple, we are users like you. We can only recommend you try Apple again, unless you are close to an Apple store and can make an appointment to go in there.

I downloaded latest software on iphone 4 and installed new software on my imac (snow leopard 8.6)and now phone not synching with new itunes. Itunes does recognize the phone but the itunes is totally different now. It doesn't look anything like the previous vesions. I can't even find a tab for synching. very strange. any help is appriciated.

I myself, two days ago purchased a 2nd hand iPhone 5 that was advertised as having a line of squares at the bottom of the screen. I Googled it and found people saying it was a screen issue and to replace the screen, so I did this and it is still happening with a new screen.
I am starting to dislike Apple intensely after reading forum posts and watching videos where people are asking for help and telling us about issues that they are having with their phones.
Why is Apple getting it so wrong with their updates and manufacturing that they are completely destroying iPhones that cost a lot of money and then expecting the owner to purchase another phone unless they are still in warranty.
Apple you should be going out of your way to put things right for people but instead there is a wall of silence over so many of the issues destroying peoples phones.

It's Extremely intermittent, especially on one of the live morning shows I watch. It's just absolutely awful. And I've changed the dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to false, made sure my plug-ins are up to date and someone even told me to find new plug-ins which I did and WMP and RealPlayer did the same thing. So, short of reverting back to FF 7.o or a version that works, (because I'm not sure how to do that) I guess I'll have to wait to see what FF 9.0 is like from some of the other users before updating to that. I just don't want to make it worse. I'm really frustrated with the morning show I'm unable to watch uninterrupted every few seconds.

Error message saying iTunes doesn't include software for iPhone
I get an error message saying iTunes doesn't include the software for iPhone. It says to uninstall and re-install iTunes. I have done it twice and both times I get the same error.
