2 month old ipad suddenly not charging

Hi there, hoping someone can help. Our 2 month old ipad is suddenly not charging, all that appears is a battery with a red bolt on it and nothing more. Any ideas on what might be happening?

iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the phone with an iPhone USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning iPhone off and then on again.
If the issue persists, try resetting the iPhone while connected to the iPhone charger.

Why is my 8 month old Ipod Nano not charging/synching?

My Ipod Nano is no longer charging with the USB cable in either my laptop or my apple charger. It started to sporadically charge/synch and is now not doing it at all. Everything else works with USB drive on the laptop and I have no problems charging my Ipad on the apple charger so the issue must be with the Ipod itself. I use my ipod every day for running. Is there anything I can do or am I going to have to trash an 8 month old Ipad? I've tried resetting the Ipad and that makes no difference.

Check the dock connector on the Nano and clean any dirt/debris/dust bunnies you might find. Clean it with a soft brush. While you are doing this get a magnifying glass and look at the pins. If you see rust/corrosion then sweat has damaged the connector.

IPad suddenly not charging

So, this is a bit of a mystery. My iPad2 is no longer charger via a wall charger or through a computer. I've tried two separate cables (although the base plug was the same) with no success. The weird part is that I can get it to charge using an external charging pack (New Trent IMP60D) with the cables mentioned above. I have a repair request in to Apple and am just waiting for my shipping box to arrive, but if someone can help me solve this to avoid sending it in, that would be fantastic!

Sorry to hear that, but my understanding it that you iPad might have a charging port damage, because as you said it charges well with some but does not with the most. So even if you manage to find a solution it will not be for long, i suggest still sending it because it will be fixed for sure.

Clean iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush. Try different good USB Cable. If still problem, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty, make Genius appointment and take iPhone to Apple for resolution of problem.

TS1363 iPad 2 not charging, not syncing, stuck at end of updating to iOS 6.1.2 with itunes logo and usb promt.

my ipad wasn't charging with the provided wall charger, I thought maybe I needed to update my iOS to 6.1.2. So I started the update via the settings/general on the ipad itself, at the same time I also started the updates to itunes on my computer (windows vista). The updates (to pc & iPad) are now finished and the ipad is displaying the itunes logo with a USB cable indicating I need to connect to the computer but it isn't connecting, I have followed all of the trouble shooting, and restarted both my device and my pc. Could the charger on the ipad (not the plug as I have tried different sync cords also) be messed up? Before this for the last month my ipad will only charge when it is turned totally off and only at a rate of about 5%/hour! its soooo so sooooo slow! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I am stuck!

by the way when I say it wasnt charging with the provided charger I mean it wasn't charing. Not even showing "Not Charging" or anything, it just wouldn't do anything, it was like it wasnt plugged in at all.
Is there any way to stop or reverse the update I started? or a different way to connect to itunes rather than with usb, because obviously the plug part of the ipad is shot.

Ipad 4 not charging with the ORIGINAL Power adapter that came in the box. Can't charge my iPad. I plugged in on PC all night and has been charged to 7%

Yesterday, as usual was going to charge my iPad, it was at 1%. Well, I took my ipad charger (original Apple official, I want to clarify that as a first step, I'm using the brand products than Apple) and plugged into an outlet ... The ipad began loading the first two minutes , then I got a notification telling me that the iPad could not charge with the charger.
I was quite surprised by the announcement. I disconnected and reconnected it .... again, I received the same notification. Then I disconnected and tried it on another outlet ... anything, yet. then I tried it on another outlet and ipad started charging. but after a while I had the same notice, not paying attention to that. I left it charging and I removed roughly 25% that of fear for something to happen. also remembered that situation (made 2-3 months ago where the iPad was not charging but after waiting a while disconnected, reconnected it and loaded normally).
so I decided to wait to re-connect the iPad to the outlet. This time, I plugged it into the outlet (fully discharged) at night and expected to find it loaded in the morning. But my surprise is that it still is off, it did not load anything.
I Bought the iPad in December 2012. Do you think that my iPad is hurt?
What can I do? Ay recommendation?

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. You may also want to swap out the cable, just to confirm or rule out that it's bad.
If none of those fixes work, make the appointment at your apple store and have them check it out.

When you plug into a computer, it may say "not Charging", but it will charge but slowly. If this is the case, the cable is good. Therefore, the wall charger must be defective.

IPad 3 not charging in greece

I have all the right connectors and I'm get the Not Charging message when I plug it in to charge. it worked at the Amsterdam airport, but now in Greece it doesn't. Using the exact same connection in Greece, my wife's iPad 2 does charge correctly. Does anyone know why it's not working for my iPad 3? Amsterdam and Greece use the same outlets, can't figure out why it worked at airport but not here.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer.
