213:19 error code

Hi, this is my first time posting on the community help board, so I apologize if I'm breaking any rules.
I have Windows 7 and Photoshop CS6 student/teacher edition.  I've been using it for about a week now, no problem, but I just tried to open it (I had opened it seconds earlier without a hitch), and I got the error code:
"A probem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart yor computer and re-launch the product"
"Error: 213:19"
These are the actions I've taken, to no avail:
1) Restarted my computer
2) Tried the recommended solutions on the adobe page, and on several of these discussion pages.  I tried changing the permissions on Adobe to include full access, and I have several Adobe folders so I tried doing it on all of them.  Perhaps I'm doing this step incorrectly.  They also direct me to the "SLStore" folder, but I can't seem to locate this folder on my computer, in any of the directed places.
3) The other recommended solution was to sign in as an administrator and then open an adobe product.  I only have one account on this computer, and that's the administrator one.  I can't figure out what the issue is.
I think it might have something to do with my Adobe Reader - It suggested an update right before I tried opening Photoshop.  I updated it, restarted the computer, and Photoshop still won't open.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I assume you've rebooted your computer since you started having these problems.  Not just "sleep" or "hibernation", but a full reboot.
If not, please do so.  The licensing facility runs in the background.
I tend to trust people unless they give me reason not to, and I'm not accusing you of anything, but I want to mention that Photoshop's licensing and activation management is complex, and Photoshop purchased or obtained from sources other than Adobe might be counterfeit or cracked and can be expected to stop working.  Did you get the software and license from Adobe.com?

    I have been trying for 2 days now to get this resolved.
    Computer hashard wired internet connection, running Windows 7 Home Premium. No other issues with downloading or uploading from any other sites or programs. No other network issues reported on other computers.
    It started when I went to install Lightroom through my Creative Cloud. It prompted me to update my Creative Cloud Desktop App, which I went to do and then promptly got Error Code 201. I restarted my Creative Cloud and then skipped the update, hoping it was just an issue with that specific download. I clicked to install Lightroom and the same thing happened, Error code 201.
    I restarted my machine, and tried again. Same issue.
    I contacted Support. They had me go in and change a bunch of folder names to and add "old" to the end of them and then had me try using the Adobe Cleaner tool, which did not work. He had me go in and change some internet settings, still nothing. Same issues as before, only now with all the renaming of things I cannot even open programs I had previously been able to open like Photoshop.
    He instructed me to reinstall the CC Desktop App because the Cleaner tool was not recognizing that it existed anymore (probably something to do with renaming files.. just saying) and now I get the 201 Error when I try to reinstall the CC Desktop App.
    I ran out of time and had to stop after being on with them for over an hour.
    Today I contact back and was instructed to create a new user account on my computer and try downloading and installing the application in the new user. Same errors. 213 at first, restarted my computer and then got Error Code 201 again.
    I am getting really frustrated and really behind on my work. Any information someone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Currently waiting for a chat person to be available again.

    Meowia for Error 201 please see Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html.  Error 213 indicates there was problem locating the update or an incorrect URL.  The troubleshooting steps are still the same as both errors are related to failure of the current network connection.

  • Acrobat Adobe Pro XI will not run due to error code 213:11 after downloading from creative cloud with no issues.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, have added plugins to firefox and to no avail.  I have contacted support twice, was disconnected once and the second time was told to uninstall and reinstall and my account was closed as fixed.  I have reinstalled with the firewall off. same error code.
    what is the problem??? I am pulling my hair out!  I purchased in mid-Aug to use for school and have not been able to create one useable document yet.
    I need the Acrobat pro, that is all I care about!!

  • Downloaded AVG protection and it cleaned my computer, now whenever i try to start photoshop it says that there is a problem with the licensing of the product and gives me an error code 213:11

    Exactly as it says above. The computer was given to me as a gift, and the person who gave it to me had already bought photoshop and put it on for me. Photoshop was working perfectly before AVG did the computer scan, and now every time i try to use it a window comes up instead that says "A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch the product. If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 213:11"

    Apparently it "cleaned" away needed files.
    Most likely you will have to reinstall Photoshop to get all the files back.

    I can't get cs6 to install on my imac. Here's a detailed summary of what I've done:

    Migrated software from old powerbook by way of Time Machine
    Deactivated Adobe licenses on old powerbook.
    Started PhotoShop on new computer and got error code 213:19
    Chatted with Adobe 11/25  (unique ID is 331515498)
    Unable to solve problem on chat, was told to restart and reinstall software.
    Uninstalled cs6 software
    Cleaned with Adobe cleaning tool
    Reinstalled from installation disc.
    Installation failed.
    Restarted computer
    Unistalled again
    ran disc permission repair
    Cleaned with Adobe cleaning tool
    Tried to instal photoshop only
    Installation failed

    I purchase my Adobe Illustrator CS5 in 2011.  It worked good until recently then I got an error code 150:30.  Tried to fix it but then got an error code 213:5.  Called Adobe customer support and they could ot help; then they directed me here for help? All I am trying to do, is to get my CS5 Illustrator operational again...didn't realize that I was gone to get a run-around.  Does anyone know how to fix or get around these dumb error codes?

    Probably your best bet is to uninstall and the reinstall the application (being sure to delete the Preferences when uninstalling). It might also help to run the Cleaner tool in between.

    Pro 64 bit. I can access the organize function, but as soon as I try to use edit, it gives Me error code 213:19. I got no help from a live chat with customer support. She suggested the technical people.

    Can you please check the Folder Permission of the SLStore folder present at the below location:
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore\
    Is it read only? Are you able to create new files within this folder? Let me know.

    First, I got the error code: 213.19 when trying to us Premier Elements 11..  I uninstalled and tried again...still getting it.  From what I have read on this forum, it is a licensing issue.  Any suggestions.

    From what you wrote, you are not seeking to deactivate a Premiere Elements serial number from crashed computer. So, the chances seem slim to none about Adobe Chat helping you with a non current version issue. That does not stop you from finding that out for yourself, but I just wanted to prepare you for that possibility.
    Have you tried to troubleshoot the issue yourself in ways other than uninstall reinstall?
    Have you gone through the Adobe document for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements on this issue? If not, please review the following Adobe document

    I have installed the test version of Photoshop Elements 11. When I try to start Photo Editor or Organizer, I get Configuration Error, ErrorCode 213:10.
    The start of the "main window" from where I start Editor or Organizer is OK.

    This is why the error comes. Try the solution as below.
    213:5  or 213:10
    These errors are due to a read-only SLStore folder.
    See Verify permissions to the SLStore folder.

    I restarted but no change.  I contacted on-line support but they said phone up the pay support service.  This is anew instal, which will not start.  The above replies were not any help in my case..  It seems this code is used across different products with different meanings.  You'd think I'd get some service for a new instal.
