2D Barcode greyed out with Reader 9.0.0

Hi,
I have a strange problem. I'm using a form with a datamatrix barcode - the reader extensions are not set in this form so the barcode is still encrypted. If this form is filled out with Adobe Acrobat 9 the barcode looks fine(encrypted but you can see the barcode), if filled out with Adobe Reader 8.x.x the barcode looks fine(encrypted but you can see the barcode) - but with the same form filled out with Adobe Reader 9.0.0 and the same values the barcode gets greyed out. Even if I just fill in one character.
Can anybody help me out with this?
Thanks in advance
Marc

hi,
first include one masterpage and map it to the first page alone
second master page to rest of the pages
place the code in the form initialize
CustomerApplicationApp.Page0.presence = "hidden";
CustomerApplicationApp.masters.MasterBarcode.presence = "hidden";
were page0 is the first page and the masterbarcode is the respective master page mapped.
place the code in preprint
CustomerApplicationApp.Page0.presence = "visible";
CustomerApplicationApp.masters.MasterBarcode.presence = "visible";
place the code in post print
CustomerApplicationApp.Page0.presence = "hidden";
CustomerApplicationApp.masters.MasterBarcode.presence = "hidden";
Note : rename the nodes according to the code or change the code as per your node.

  • Songs I recently downloaded are all Greyed out with a grey cloud next to them?

    Recently got an iTunes gift card for Christmas and was at my family's house. I went on their iTunes and signed into my Apple ID Account to use my new gift card under my Account. Everything went fine until I went home and opened my iTunes account on my PC Windows Computer. The recently Downloaded songs are ALL Greyed Out with a Cloud next to them? Now I can't play any of these NEW SONGS I just purchased?!?! PLEASE HELP ME!!

    I downloaded one of the file explorer programs (iFunbox in my case) for my PC and deleted everything out of the "Purchases" folder on the phone's "Raw File System". After a couple of syncs with iTunes everything was back to normal. It appears that something was screwed up on the iPhone side that iTunes couldn't sort out. I don't think anything could sync from iTunes to the phone, not just the greyed out items.
    This is why resetting and restoring the iPhone also works for a lot of people. It's overkill though, deletes your app data, and just wastes your time setting everything back up after the restore. Better to use the surgical approach of a file system explorer program on your PC to fix what appears to be a mundane data corruption issue.

  • Why is my phone number greyed out with no check mark in Messages under Settings?

    Why is my phone number greyed out with no check mark in Messages under Settings?

    The number for the iPhone is grayed out but if no check mark under you can be reached by iMessage at, can you select the number below start new conversations from?

  • .ipa file will install in iTunes and copy to iPhone or iPad but shows as greyed out with "installing" or "waiting" underneath.

    Hey All:
    I have an .ipa file that is legit and "signed" (at least I think so) but for some reason will not work on any device. I basically drag the .ipa file into itunes app section and it will show there as a working app.
    I select the button that says "install" so that when it syncs it puts it on my ipad or iphone. Once I move over to the iphone or ipad the icon is greyed out with the words waiting or installing under the icon.
    Waiting for a half a day at one point before I finally gave up and deleted it from my devices.
    Can someone point me in a direction as to what I might be doing wrong? The only thing I can think is that its' not io7.1 compatable but that is all I got.
    Thanks
    Paul

    I am assuming you where generating the .ipa file using a UniversalDistribution  Provisioning Profile with an iOS Developer Enterprise Account. If so I had the same problem - turned out it was a Certificate issue - what worked for me was when creating the Certificate which I did manually using Keychain Access I left the Common Name field blank and the .ipa installed properly on my devices. Hope this helps.

  • IPhoto 9.6  in Yosemite is greyed out with a large X across it?

    Hope someone can help me with this problem, iPhoto 9.6  in Yosemite is greyed out with a large X across it? When I try to launch it from the application folder it says I need to download a iPhoto Library Upgrader but when I do that it says it is not needed for this operating system. I have some 5000 photos that now I can't access.
    Thank you

    Great, that you got iPhoto working again.
    Unfortunately I lost a few pics, several hundred possibly. Because I couldn't access iPhoto to back up the library.
    To back up your library you do not use iPhoto. Make a copy of the iPhoto library to an external disk or make sure the iPhoto Library is included in your regular backups of your Mac, for example the Time Machine backup.
    As to the missing photos - look, if there is a recovered folder somewhere in your iPhoto library. If iPhoto finds photos, that are not in any event, it will collect them in "Recovered" items. And try to sort your events by date. Perhaps your missing events are just sorted in  the wrong place.

  • When i try to sync photos from iPhoto to my iPad using iTunes,  the "Selected Folders" option is greyed out with only the "All Folders" option available, how do i change this?

    When i try to sync photos from iPhoto to my iPad using iTunes,  the "Selected Folders" option is greyed out with only the "All Folders" option available, how do i change this?

    I add the keyword 'sync' to any photos I want added to the iPhone/iPad.
    Then, during the regular process of syncing the iPhone/iPad with my computer (mac), the photos with that keyword would be copied onto the iPhone, iPad.
    I've been doing it this way ever since I was shown how to; ie after I got my iPhone 2 years ago. And every time the process worked - until the last few weeks. Suddenly it doesn't do it any more.
    I believe I have upgraded software (either iTunes or iPhoto or both) during this period. I try to keep my software updated but have noticed previously that the new version often is disappointing.
    I've not tended to use Smart albums much.

  • "I Need to Sign" options are greyed out in Reader

    I created a fillable form with Acrobat, including two fields where signatures are required. When I test the form within Acrobat (clicking on the signature field), I am prompted to create/insert a digital signature. But when I try the same thing in Reader, all the options under "I Need to Sign" are greyed out and also when I click on either of the signature fields, nothing happens. We need to send this form to many customers and need to figure out how to get this to work in Reader. Please advise.

    Nevermind... you took too long to answer. I just needed to upgrade my version to Pro.

  • I can no longer sync new music i've downloaded into my iTunes library onto my phone. When i click the playlist "recently added" under my phone on my computer it just shows all the songs greyed out with a dotted circle on the left hand side. Any clue why?

    For Example: like this makes no sense. is it because it wasnt purchased directly from itunes? If so thats ridiculous. I've had an iphone for over a year, and a macbook for over 2 years. my phone is completley updated to 7.0.3 and my computer is completley updated with the new itunes 11.1.12 which i thought was supposed to help this problem. I've never had this problem, and its extremely frustrating.

  • I am complete novice as far as ipad air is concerned I have got lots working but Ihave gone to app store again but now the page is greyed out with a bright centr to get a game i do not want how do i get rid of this please

    I am having trouble understanding my ipad going to the app store it comes up with  a greyed out page withe a bright centre for installing a program i do not want
    How can I get rid of this? it is bugging me
    Herbette

    I'm not exactly sure what you are seeing and what is happening, but try closing the App Store app, and then reset the iPad. See if that takes you out of that screen and allows you to navigate freely again.
    Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • When I transfer my purchases from my phone to computer, the songs show up greyed out with a circle with 2 arrows

    My songs show up on my computer greyed out and won't play with some sort of refresh circle beside them

    So i've found the answer to this by clicking on every menu and setting in the itunes store. It turns out some purchases in the cloud can be hidden probably as the result of an interrupted transfer/sync/backup or a network outage. To unhide purchases 'greyed out ' items , go to the Itunes store (on the PC) click on your account name and select view account. (you'll be prompted for your itunes password) once you are in scroll down to the purchase history section. there should be an option for hidden purchases. click through and click on unhide purchases, redownloadble purchases. any hidden purchases will then show up. click on unhide to reactivate and download. This may only work for purchases in the cloud.
    hope others find this useful.

  • When printing graphics are greyed out with an X

    I am probably asking a stupid question here but I am not having any luck figuring it out.  I am a new user so sorry if this is a dumb question! I am trying to print from InDesign and a couple of my linked graphics will print as a grey box with an X going through it. I have tried 3 different printers. It also does the same thing when creating a PDF file. I am using CS4. The graphic that is causing issues was created by another user in CS2. Does anyone know what I have done to cause this problem and how to fix it. Thank you!

    I think I may have stumbled onto something here. First off the linked
    file causing the problem was an Illustrator file not a PDF. Sorry about
    that! The file was created in CS2 in 2008. I was going to make a copy of
    the file and open it up with CS4, save it then relink to the new file. I
    quickly found out I no longer have access to that part of our network. I
    can't even open the file or copy the file to another location. The funny
    thing is the links never showed up as being broken or having any issues
    whatsoever. I am going to pursue this with our IT group. Hopefully by
    Monday when I am back at work I can get this all resolved! Thank you for
    all your help!!

  • Directories in finder greyed out, with partially-filled progress bars

    I attempted to use the finder to copy some SSDs to an external hard drive.  Normally I use rsync, and this has never failed me.  This time I decided to use the Finder to do the copy because I wanted to know in advance how long the 1.6TB transfer would take.  When I started the copy operation, the finder told me it would take 16 hours.  I left for Boston, expecting the copy to be done when I returned.  It failed, so I re-started it.
    Very close to the end of the copy of the last two SSDs, I received an alert that my external drive had been disconnected (I hadn't touched it).  However, after physically removing the FW800 cable and reconnecting, the drive re-mounted, and the two directories I was trying again to copy were reconnected with it, but they were greyed out, each one showing a progress bar of the defunct copy operation from the last time.
    How do I get the disk, which has now been properly updated via rsync, to forget this vestigal information from the finder that, apparently, was not enough information to get the Mac to just Do The Right Thing and continue the copy, nor sufficiently self-aware to remove itself after the failed copy?
    What''s the fix?

    Well the strange partially-completed progress bars are gone, but my directories in those directories remain grayed out.  Using the command line, I can easily see the tens of thousands of files in those directories (RAW files from a BlackMagic Cinema Camera for an hour-long event).  But the finder refuses to open the directory.
    Does anybody else have any thoughts on how to tell the Finder "you are confused.  Forget everything you think you know, and just rebuild your knowledge from evidence in the filesystem, rather than your own preconceived notion of what you think should be there"?  Or better yet, how to tell the Finder "never try to be smarter than the filesystem.  Just be a **** GUI and let the file system be the file sytem?"

  • HT1386 i cannot sync my full playlist. Songs showing up in "on this phone" greyed out with dotted circle next to it. How do i fix it?

    I cannot sync my whole playlist. Keep having songs greyed out in "on this phone" with dotted circle next to them. Tried restarting phone and itunes. Also tried syncing songs out of the phone and re-syncing them back on with no success. I really do not want to reset the whole phone. Please help.

    To clarify, I meant to say, when I plug my phone into my computer and connect to ITunes.

  • Instruments record button greyed out with iPhone

    When I try to profile my iPhone app using Instruments the record button is greyed out and I can't do anything.
    If I try to start from xcode using the "start with performance tool" menu it just says target failed to start.
    I've tried removing the iphone from the organizer and plugging it back in.
    Any ideas?

    I also have the same problem, and running Instruments on the Simulator is not an option, since my problem is that there are sprites that are drawn correctly on the Simlator and are not visible on the Device.
