You contacted us as you were unable to install e-learning suite. We suggest you to create a new Admin account on your computer and try installing creative cloud desktop from there. Once you are able to install and launch on new admin account you will be able to access it from your normal admin account as well. Refer this link to create new admin account

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. However, YOUR solution did not work.
I created a completely new admin account. Everything was fresh -- totally virgin. And, exactly the same occurred. The installer program completed about 50% of its run,and then froze up. It failed to initialize, and I was referred to an onsite help page that has been discontinued ... that is no longer supported.
What can I do?
I have purchased AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE DVD from Adobe, had it sent to me in Thailand, and it will not install in my computer.
Please provide me with the technical support that I need.
Thank you.

Hi There,
Can you confirm your operating system on which you are trying to install e LearningSuite 6.1?
Also confirm the PowerPoint version present on that machine?

Ajit

Can I get an update for this?

The workaround for this problem is to revert to IE9 or earlier, install your old PSE, then reinstall the latest IE version.

You are aware that you can only sync apps using iTunes and that the apps must be from Apple app store?
What did you install in the Phone Shop?

  • Cannot install NSeries PC Suite at all!

    Hello
I'm new to Nokia software - I guess I am in for a long ride.
I have an HP Pavillion 2530ea running Vista Home (no service packs).
I have tried to install the PC Suite on the provided disk and from the web site here (v6.85) and in both cases, whatever I choose to install (everything to minimum install), it returns "failed" in friendly red letters with no error message.
Even when I connect my N82 to the the machine by USB it isn't recognised.
I also tried to install the provided software on my Windows XP machine, but that didn't work because it doesn't have SP2 (my machine HATES SP2).
Does anyone have any alternative suggestions? Anything???
    Thanks!!!
    Mark

    Hello
Well, I have had some progress. I recently installed all the updates for Vista and the PC Suite now installs on the laptop. I still can't connect via USB though. There is a generic "There is a problem with the driver" message in the Device Manager and installing the driver from the website returns a "The installed driver is newer than this one" and I can't seem to be able to force it to load.
So, being up to date with all your upgrades seems to be the solution. Both machines are 32 bit - the phone is UK/O2.
Had I realised quite how non-useful the PC Suite was I probably wouldn't have bothered installing it. I was hoping for something to downscale video so it was suitable for the phone, perhaps some extra software such as a text editor, more games etc.
More importantly, I was hoping that by now manufacturers as big as Nokia would have introduced a PC based method for configuring the phone. Rather than going through all the menu options on the phone, why not do it on the PC. Also, a dictionary editor, menu organiser, rules editor. If any of these exist please could someone let me know.
    Thanks for the help

  • I cannot install Lion to a backup drive for my new Mac Mini

I just bought the new Mac Mini with an i7 processor last week. I wanted to format a backup drive for it. When I tried to use the Lion Recovery partition on the new Mac Mini, I keep getting an error message that says it's incompatoble with the current model.
I also tried to use the Lion thumbdrive I purchased from Apple to see if that can be used, but it also give me the incompatible message.
Is there a special version of Lion that's only for the new Mac Mini's?
    Any help is appreciated!

Read this, it will explain it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4905
Mac mini (Mid 2011), MacBook Air (Mid 2011): Use Lion Recovery instead of OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive
    Last Modified: September 01, 2011
    Article: HT4905
    Summary
Learn about using Lion Recovery or the built-in OS X Lion recovery partition rather than OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive with computers released after OS X Lion.
    Products Affected
MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011), MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2011), MacBook Air (Mid 2011), Mac mini (Mid 2011)
Use Lion Recovery to restore Mac computers released after OS X Lion. If you attempt to use the OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive, a message will appear stating that you cannot install this version of OS X on your computer. This is correct behavior to make sure you install only the correct and most up-to-date version of Mac OS X on your computer.
Note: You can also use the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant on your Mac to create a bootable image to make sure you recover the correct version of OS X Lion. To use the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant, you need to have your own USB drive.
    Additional Information
If you have a network connection, you should receive the appropriate version of Mac OS X when using the built-in Recovery HD partition on Macs running Lion.

  • My iPad 1 cannot install any apps from apple store even though it has been updated to ios 5.1.1 which is better than 4.3 that is required by most of the apps in apple store. I reset factory settings but still to no avail I cannot install any apps.

MY iPad 1 cannot install any apps

A lot of apps have current versions that require higher iOS versions than 5.1.1
But some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps. If the app is free then try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that it's in your account's 'purchase' history, and then in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad see if you can download an older compatible version of the app. If the app is paid-for then try contacting the developer first and see if that will work with their app (and if they have a version compatible with iOS 5.1.1 available) - don't buy the app until you know that it will work.
There is also this page for finding current apps that require iOS 5.1.1 or lower : https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubfhs/support/advice-and-articles/finding-a pps-for-older-devices#5.1.1

  • Cannot install CS5.5 (upgrade from CS3) on my new laptop

I need to install CS5.5 on my new laptop. I downloaded the installation files, but i cannot install.
My CS5.5 Design Standard is an update from an CS3 Desing Premium which i purchased some years ago.
I do have the serial of my old CS3, but unfortunaltely i lost the installation dvd
Do i first need to install CS3? Or can i just put the serial somewhere?
    Thanks Martin

    Can you elaborate?
First question: is your CS5.5 for Windows or Mac? Is your new laptop a Windows or a Mac? You cannot use a Windows serial number to license a CS5.5 on a Mac and vice versa.
Assuming you're installing on the same platform, there's no need to re-install CS3 first.
All you need to do is install CS5.5 (the code for an upgrade version is the same as for a full version), enter your CS5.5 upgrade serial number then enter your CS3 serial number when prompted.

  • Cannot install Adobe Creative Suite 3

Would need some more tips about how to get Adobe Creative Suite 3 design standard to at all install.
The machines I want to install onto are PPC G5s dual core with 4 GB of RAM and Mac OS X 10.4.10 (we do not want 10.4.11 as we need Safari 2.0.4 to remain for some in-house apps which do not work in later Safari). Machines already have CS2 without Version Cue and without Bridge on them and those are supposed to remain there. We have corporate multi-user licenses for both CS2 and CS3 packages.
When I insert the CS3 standard design package DVD in the machines where I want to install, it goes through the motions of the first stage of opening the installer but when it comes to finding and showing the alternatives possible to install, it comes no further. It hangs and remains hanging and not responding. No error message.
It does that on any of those PPC G5s I've tried on so it it is not just one machine. Have checked DVD for dust and scratches but nothing serious there. Same DVD works as supposed to in any Intel MacBook or Mac Book pro.
Am of course logged in as an admin user with full privileges. No other applications were active at the time. Harddisks are formatted as HFS+ journaled.
I have saved knowledge base document with ID kb400584 to go through all parts of it next week when in the office again. It is about Troubleshoot installation problems (Adobe Creative Suite 3.x on Mac OS X).
What I've done so far is:
    - try in a new user - doesn't work either, same problem.
    - activated and logged in as Root user on machine and tried to install from that - doesn't work either, same problem.
    - checked fonts - no problem fonts
    - checked and repaired permissions - doesn't help one bit
    - ran the standalone Mac OS X 10.4.10 combo updater - doesn't help (and no we do not want 10.4.11 on those machines)
    - ran installer with and without any Wacoms, scanners etc attached - no difference (the users that need CS3 installed, only need Illustrator and Photoshop, they are the users who do our original artwork, drawings and such for the newspaper where I work so they do have Wacoms and scanners)
    - tried on other machines with same installations and applications - same problem
    What I have not done:
    - started in safe mode (forgot about that until came home and read the above mentioned knowledge base document)
    - started without network connected
    - installed from the desktop
    - checked firewall settings (I understand those can have an impact).
Have also not done the following yet:
    - Use the Console utility to identify software conflicts.
    - Use the Process Viewer to identify and quit processes that may be using large amounts of system resources.
Note that this is NOT a Leopard problem, it is 10.4.10 we are talking about and PPC machines. Note to that re-doing the machines from scratch is not an option as they are carefully set up for the environment those users work in both when it comes to applications and permissions and fonts and we have a couple of hundred machines set up the very same way. There are no problems with CS2 and there never has been any beta or try-outs of CS3 Adobe apps on them either.
If those actions I didn't do yet will help I will report back about it next week some time.
Meanwhile I would be grateful for any tips I could try that could lead to a successful installation.

Well. Continuation of the struggle to install..
Today on a third machine, same configuration but slightly newer PPC G5 dual something (don't have the specs here at home).
    I did run the CS3Cleanscript.
1st twice in level one. No deal. Still uanble to install.
Then twice in level two. No deal. Still unable to install.
Then once in level three which killed the CS2 apps. Removed manually all CS2 apps and whatever belongs to them (I know where all that stuff is). Did a reinstall from scratch from original media of CS2 Premium (without Version Cue and GoLive) plus all updates. Refrained from putting in all our custom plug-ins and also to remove Stock Photos and fonts which we usually do. Restarted machine. Did a systemupdate of 10.4.10 with the combo-updater, still to 10.4.10, to be sure to have the right system parts in there. Restarted. Tried to install CS3 again. No deal. Ran the CS3Cleanscript level 2 again.
Ran out of time as had an appointment. That's where it presently stands: still unable to install.
Machines run no font management application (FontBook is present of course). Fonts are healthy and not damaged. Permissions are fine. Installing in new user with admin rights does not work. Installing as root does not work. Installing in safe mode and having turned off twain and wacom drives via the Activity Monitor has no effect.
Note: all CS2 apps run just fine and did too before reinstallation of them after killing them with cs3cleanscript.
Anything else to look for that you are aware of? I am starting to believe that it must have something to do with our special-tweaked systems and/or something else on these machines that gets in the way.
The CS3 standard multi-user package used is the Swedish version. I've installed that without any problem on an Intel MacPro used for video editing (yes we do that kind of thing as well in addition to the printed paper and the web). That machine did not have any of our standard system-setups though which is probably why it worked. Same application package also works without problem in MacBooks and MacBook Pros. It's just the PPC G5s for editing that has this problem. So apparently something is hiding there that causes the problem.
Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
I know what the next step is: To erase machine and install a clean Tiger-system from scratch. Then install first CS2 plus updates. Then try again with CS3. If that works it's the system itself that is the next thing to dissicate. Sigh.

  • Cannot Install Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard

I bought a CD for Adobe CS6: Design Standard Education Edition about 2 years ago. I'm currently trying to install it onto a mac and I cannot find the "install.app" file to start the download

Did you originally purchase it for a Mac?  If not, your license is only good for a Windows installation.
If you did get it for a Mac then you can download it and install with that...

You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

  • Attempted to install Adobe Creative Suite 4, Design Premium twice

    Received an Error message--
    Error:
Error: 1603. Fatal Error in Installation.
About five applications will not install, including Adobe Photoshop CS4. Can you tell me wat the error means and/or what I should do to correctly install all applications?

You've given us no system specs but you should note that installation issues are handled free of charge. You should call Adobe.

  • Cannot install Adobe Creative Suite 2

I keep getting asked for Disc 2 but I don't know how to proceed here. I spoke with a representative to deactivate my CS2 because I couldn't find which computer had it previously. She deactivated it, and gave me two links, one where to download the new CS2 because apparently Adobe took down the authentication server so we had to install a special version that runs a non-authentication. Well, I downloaded 3 parts for CS2 and when I start the disc1 and go through the process, it asks for disc 2. Well, I tried running Disc2 and when I run through the prompts, it won't allow me to install where it has it set on default so I have to try and figure out which one to install it manually. I am so utterly freaking confused.

i only know of one thing that causes that error: failure to move all the extracted files into the same directory.
p.s.  adobe only offers support for current products.

  • Cannot install CS3 extension anymore on CS5 with the new Extension Manager

    Hi,
I got accustomed to using extension such as the Guide Panel, offered from the Adobe Developer page. This extension, among many others has been created for CS3 but has always worked as far as I can remember. Now that I try to install them, the Extension Manager gives me the error:
This extension can not be installed, it requires Fireworks version 7 or greater.
Does anyone have an idea how to surpass the version checking? After all I have a CS5, the error message thus doesn't make sense.
    See you!

  • Cannot Install HP software (not drivers) for HP L7680 (new) printer

Purchased a new MacBook Pro with Leopard and an HP L7680 printer. The printer is found and added as a printer but the extra software provided on the HP install DVD won't install. I downloaded the latest copy from HP Support and get the same result (it was in fact the same version). The installer asks if I want to install the HP support software and if I respond Yes or No it simply bounces back to the previous screen.
The extra software, at least on Windows, let's me access the scanner, fax, etc. via software.
I tried the same software on a friend's 10.4 G5 iMac and it works fine so this appears to be a 10.5 (or an Intel?) issue.
Anybody have any luck or knowledge of this issue?
No response from HP Support. They are probably overloaded at this point.

You want to know why? I'll tell you why. It's because Apple's the new Microsoft. My system was much better off with Tiger - but of course we all get suckered to buy Leopard. And what happens? You're printer doesn't work 100%. I mean, hear me out. I have an HP Photosmart C4280 - why by the way, I PURCHASED FROM AN APPLE STORE! I can almost understand if I had some strange unknown device - but come on! Work with me here! This is so exhausting! I spend $2300 on a computer and all-in-one printer and I can't even scan a measly photo? Do you know how embarrassing it is to have to use my neighbor's (XP) PC to scan my photos? Absolutely disgraceful. If Apple offered me my money back, I wouldn't think twice.
    What is this, Vista??
