3.1.1.2 help is wrong

The help topic "Working with AttributeInfo Components", under "Hiding a Column on a Java Form"
Says "To hide the column from displaying in a grid on a Java form, set the value of columnWidth property to 0."
This does not work in my detail grid.
Please fix the documentation for 3.2

I know that this is bad Nettiquite.... but I want to add a BIG me too to this idea.
Is there any way that this could be encouraged?

How to select multiple clips? "Help" is wrong.

Hi. I've got iMovie 11 v 9.0.9. "Help" is wrong in this version - it says, to select multiple clips in the Events browser, hold down the command key while selecting - the normal thing, right? - but it does nothing. The first selection disappears, just as it would if you didn't hold the Command key down. I've tried every combination of keys and click I can think of, and still no success. Usually, when I can't get something to work and get frustrated with it, I find out it's my own fault and invariably what I've done is overthink the thing...with Mac it's always KISS.
But I'm stuck. Could someone please tell me how to do this?

No. In finder hold down the option key and in the GO menu select Library. In the window that appears Open the Preferences folder then scroll down and find com.apple.iMovie.plist and com.apple.iMovie LSSharedFileList.plist and drag them to the trash. Do this with iMovie closed. Thenreboot and relaunch iMovie.

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

Help for wrong facebook Notification

Hi. I am having problems with my Facebook Notification on Mountain Lion.
The notification works perfectly before when i first logged in my account on it. (log in on the system preference>mail etc)
recently, i logged out my own account and logged in my friend's account on it (thats on the system preference)
So exactly, its notifying well but its my friend's account.
The next thing that happen, i delete my friends account on logged in list on mail settings to put back my own account but i just kept recieving my friends notification eventhough i got it disconnect on my system.

Bridge CS3 Manage Color Help menu wrong

The Help menu says-
Preferences (Mac OS), and click Advanced.
Select Enable Color Management In Bridge.
HOWEVER, the options I get when I go to Preferences and Click advanced DO NOT have Select Enable Color Management in Bridge as an option, see enclosed screen capture of the Bridge Preferences.
Color is going very wrong on my Xerox DocuColor 240, so I'm reviewing the color workflow from input to output.I have already downloaded and installed profiles spefic to my Doc 240, however, I'm having trouble figuring out how best to make use of them. Information as to the interactions between ColorSync and CS3 would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is not helpful anymore:P . That only applies to the original 2.0.0 build. The preference was removed and color management is On for all updates (2.0.1 - 2.1.1) when applicable. Draft thumbnails are not managed, along with some formats. This option also only described on screen display and has no impact on print output.
You will probably have better luck asking in the application forum that covers your printing output application, and or image editing/compositing application. Or maybe try the Color managementforum.

Is the help file wrong, or is it me?

Ok, so I am working through the help files, and am working on
"Enhancing the Hello World application", and I keep getting an
error message:
"1119: Access of possibly undefined property keyCode through
a reference with static type flash.events:Event."
Which is apparently having trouble with the following line of
code:
if (event.keyCode == Keyboard.ENTER)
The code is verbatim from the help file. I have checked
through and seen that keyCode does exist. Any thoughts?

KeyboardEvent class.
The Event class, alone, doesn't have a keyCode property, but
KeyboardEvent
(which extends Event) does.

Thanks very much for your help. However, I don't think I missed the parenthesis after I double-checked it-- maybe due to copy/paste.
In fact, SQLPLUS will remind me if I miss a parenthesis. The following is the SQL that casuse the problem.

Help on wrong song tempo

Hello all,
here's the problem:
I started a new song using an audio drum patterns taked from a cd.
Then I created a circle of 4 bars in logic and finded the right tempo. It was about 109 bpm.
Then i recorded the whole band on Logic, guitar, bass, horns voices.
LAter i saw i made a mistake with the tempo of the song.
To find the tempo I made a circle of 4 bar in Logic that include 5 bars of the drum pattern.
So now the song has a setted tempo (109 bpm) that is not the correct tempo so I have problems in adding others loop or setting sync delays ecc.
How can I fix it?
If I try to simply chance the tempo to the correct one , that shoul be around 140 bpm, the audio track do not sound right , I don't know why.

Change the tempo to the correct tempo but first, make sure all the audio regions are NOT set to Follow Tempo:
Click on an audio track.
In the Inspector (Region parameters section) make sure Follow tempo is unchecked.

HELP! Wrong Uninstall file provided by Adobe (Uninst.isu not .exe)

I just purchased CS3 but have a very old Photoshop 5.5 on Windows XP I want to uninstall first. Unfortunately, uninstall won't work because Adobe provided a Mac uninstall file and not a .exe for Windows in the product packaging. I have the original CDs and the Mac file is all that is provided!!! I tried reinstalling just to be certain doing so made no difference.
Is there a utility or a way to get an Uninst.exe for this old 5.5 product so I can get rid of it? Adobe Tech Support won't help!!!!!

Ozwoman9, If you invoke the remove through Windows, it just invokes the same file that Adobe provides which can not be executed. The message is something like "...is not valid or the data has been corrupted. Uninst will not continue" So going through Windows add/remove programs is not on any help.
John, If I can't find any other way I may need to just delete the files as you suggest an hope CCleaner or System Mechanic can clean up what is left. However, I have gone down that path before and have later had problems installing subsequent versions of the same software because there was some trace of the previous program left out there. I am hoping someone has the correct .exe out there that can send it to me, or perhaps have had success with some utility from Adobe or somewhere else.

Help: Adjusted wrong file. Way to transfer adjustments or fix dpi?

My problem is too complicated in my brain for the subject line. Sorry.
I have a file I exported from Aperture as a TIFF. Didn't realize it was set to 72dpi export. Freak occurrence.
I spent a long time tweaking the file in PS. Got it just the way I wanted it. Then I realized it was set to 72dpi. 4 layers of combined adjustments make up the goo that makes the image what it is. Can I replicate them exactly- no. I didn't take notes. Stupid, I know. It's an important image to me, too (a friend's portrait I took at her wedding).
So, I have a 240dpi TIFF of the original (slightly tweaked in Aperture) that (except for the dpi) is *exactly* like the 72dpi tweaked version.
Is there any way to lift 4 layers from the 72dpi TIFF to the 240dpi TIFF without compromising print quality?
I'm just trying to find a way to *not* do the whole thing over.
Any suggestions or ideas or lessons on dpi, TIFFs, and such? Like, copying a flattened 72dpi image to the 240dpi image just puts in a 72dpi layer, so that doesn't help- right?
It's late and I'm feeling dumb =P

Same pixel dimensions.
Different dpi/doc size.
So, Resample off and put the dpi back where it should be.... I'll do that. It's a strange concept for me to wrap my head around, though =P

On the Adjustment Layer/layers with adjustments part....
[ahem, adjusts cuffs nervously and cranes neck]
It's a mix.
I ended up merging things down to the 4 normal layers to play.... and I saved it in a rush when I closed up the computer. I built the image up from the 1st dupe layer, adding one effect or adjustment (from painting, to plug-ins, to filters) per layer. Normally this works just fine. I name them, can go back and fiddle on a per-layer basis.... but, like I said, after I merged my multiples down to 4 main layers to play with before I did my final output [pauses sheepishly].... It was just the way I wanted it, and instead of saving as a copy I saved over the psd with everything separate and nice.
n00b move on my part.

LR4 Help File Wrong

I have just installed LR4. When selecting Help from the menu line I get the help pdf file for Elements 9. Does anyone know how I can get the Lightroom pdf file to display instead?

We have encounter a big problem in a project. It shows that let say project A have different :
1st. company code
Req Co code : FNW and Company code in assignment tab IGW.
By right it req.co code should be IGW.
2nd. Wrong Req cost center
Req Cos center : FNWMW2201, by right it should be IGW2201.
I have adviced user to reverse all actual documents but they said it is impossible since they already paid all payment invoice.
What should i do for this project ?
*. Is there any way to transfer the cost from project A to project B (new project)
*. How to transfer the AUC from project A to project B (new project)

Hi Nies,
You can go ahead in transferring Cost from Project-1 to Project-2 without going with Project Settlement. This will happen through accounting entry in F-02 as Project settlement may n't be ideal on this situation. Please follow the steps.
1. Make Cost posting (Same as Cost booked against wrong WBSE) to your new Project through F-02. This will lead to Cost posting to new Project with correct organisatio structure
2. Knock-off the cost wrongly posted to Project. i.e. Revese the amount of Cost posted to Projects
Use transaction f-02, make credit into some cost object & debit the WBSE from where cost has to be reversed.
In this method Cost will be posted to new Project with Correct WBSE & same amount will be reversed from wrong WBSE.
Without following two steps, in a single step also you can knock-off cost i.e. credit / debit from WBSE subjected to assignment of G/L in both company code. When you will debit cost you can assign wrong WBSE & credit will happen to new WBSE.
For assets you can also follow the above method.

Hello Christopher press menu over and over till it goes back no further then move down to the fourth option and press select, then scroll to the bottom, language is the third option up.
Or another option is to do a restore from the iPod updater
