32BV701b No text in menu's.

I have just purchased a Toshiba 32BV701, and during the set up process no text appears in any boxes in any of the menus. After getting through the set up menus without words, I discovered that no menu's have any text whatsoever, simply empty boxes which I presume should have text in them. HELP!?

I don't have any information about that TV. A quick Google search leads me to believe it's a model from the UK.
You might want to try resetting it by unplugging it from power for a few minutes. If that doesn't help, I'd recommend contacting support in your region.

I accidentally closed the Pages text formatting menu bar.

I accidentally closed the text formatting menu bar that comes up when select text to change font size, style, etc. I cannot find out how to restore it so that it automatically opens when I select text.

It isn't gone, just minimized. The top of the screen should have a thick dark brown bar with "Documents", "Undo", etc. Under that should be a thinner lighter brown bar. Touch that thinner bar and the formatting bar should reappear.

Can't find the text editor menu in dreamweaver

I am a returning dreamweaver user. It has been 8 years since I used it.
I am writing some text on a website and want to edit the way it looks. Where is the text editing menu where I can change fonts and font colors, sizes, etc? It used to be at the bottom. All I see currently is the "properties" tab.

Text Animation Menu doesn't work.

I am new to Captivate. I have a registered Captivate 5 installed. After I started a blank slide and clicked Insert > Text Animation, nothing happened. No dialogue box appeared. Nothing happended at all. Other menues worked normally, though. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Still, after clicking Insert > Text Animation, nothing happened. What went wrong? Please help.
I am running CP5 on a 32-bit Vista Ultimate machine. 1GB of RAM.

Hi all,
My problems have been solved. I put up a case to Adobe and got a sucessful technical support.
There are 5 steps to undertake;
1. uninstall CP5.
2. Delete pcd.db, caps.db, and cache.db (under program files\adobe\... )
3. Create a new user account with Administrator Level permission.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Install CP5.
With those 5 steps, I can see the text animation menu.

Creating a Text based Menu!

Hey guys. I've been up for god knows how long trying to do this but i cant figure out how. I am trying to create a text based menu looking somewhat like this:
Add Client (a)
List Clients (b)
Add Video (c)
List Videos (d)
Exit (q)
I have the methods written for adding videos and clients to files, working on how to read them back (FileReader?), but the main question here is, how do i link those possible answers (a,b,c,d,q) to the methods i have written? P.S. the methods are not located in the same class as the code for the menu.
Help will ensure a couple hours good sleep on my part and a passing grade in this course. Thanks in advance.

Blackberry 8310 not showing reply or send in sms text options menu

I have a blackberry 8310. iam able to recieve sms text messages but when i click to on options, there is no "reply" option in the menu for me to be able to reply to the text. The chip works fine in other phones so that tells me something in the phone is not set right. There is no option for me to even compose and fresh sms text message. Please help?

Here ya' go:
1. Get a good backup of your device: BB device backup (I keep all my backups in a separate folder created for that purpose so they are always in one place and easy to find.)
2. Download the most recent version of device software for your carrier: Downloading BB device software
3. Reinstall the device software: Clean reload of device software
4. Pull the battery out with the device ON. Wait about a minute and put the battery back in. Let the BB completely restart.
5. Once you have the device OS successfully installed you will then need to reinstall any 3rd party apps you currently have on your device: Install applications using the app loader tool
6. Complete another battery pull routine after each 3rd party app installation to reclaim memory and refresh your BB.

Have you tried adding the following css selector to your css file.

Unsharp text in menu bar and other various places

After upgrading to Yosemite the text and icons of the menu bar is pretty unsharp.
Other text such as on websites and filenames remain sharp. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Any way to solve this?
I'm on a 27" late 2009 iMac.

The menu bars and filenames have been replaced by the letter "A" surrounded by boxes, over and over!
Perform an Archive & Install of Mac OS X, preserving user and network data, and then reinstall all needed software and updates.

Cannot edit text in menu page

I cut and pasted from a pdf to a menu page. I want to work with the font to make it more readable, but I can no longer select the text. What did I do wrong? I can't edit in Encore or Photoshop. I can select the layer, but not the text.
I am trying to reproduce the page by duplicating it and adding the text again, but I cannot figure out how I got it there in the first place (to appear as it did in the pdf) It keeps pasting as an oversized text block in one column.
In other words, How do I edit text that has been pasted onto a menu page? Seems it keeps wanting to create another text layer - in Photoshop as well

In the previous print screen, the layer icon has a paintbrush in it. In the new menu page I cut and pasted the text is still 'text' layer. I am not able to format it other than change font color. I want to make it two columns of text like the original pdf, and change the font.

Is it possible to "drop shadow" on text inside menu items?

Currently, the only way in Muse to get a drop shadow on a text (including the text in the menu items) is using a System Font (which means we rasterize it into an image) and setting no fill color on the Text Frame.
Please let me know if that worked.

Hi,
perhaps you didn´t activate the GUI status. Go to transaction SE38, enter your programme´s name, press ctrl + shift + F5. System displays all components in your programme. Open the nodes for GUI status and GUI title .... and those might be inactive.
Otherwise, you didn´t assign the menubar and title to your programme.

Want just text in menu bar

Whenever I create a menu it always creates grey boxes around each section however i just want it to be the text only and the text is also in white however I want that to be in black, how do I change this?

You have to write text as a hyperlink, im pretty sure that the only way, or make grey boxes white instead.

Aligning text the Menu Widget

Menu Widget: Is it possible to align the text centered in the Menu Top-pages and left in the Menu Sub-pages?

There's not a lot of control (any) for where the submenu itself is positioned, but you can align the text within the submenus using text alignment in the Text panel in the menu is set for Uniform Site. If the menu is set for Uniform Spacing you need to get more creative and double click until a submenu item is selected, then use the Spacing panel (unlock the chain icon) to increase the right padding value so the text appears left aligned.
