3602 AP not able to join 3850 WLC

Hello,
I have a 3850 switch with inetegrated WLC and my 3602 is not able to join the controller. Error from AP:

In some of my spare time, I've been trying to get this AP to join with this WLC. It's been about two weeks now. I'm not sure what the problem is. I think that there are a few possible issues, but I'm asking the more experienced & knowledgeable support community. I did convert the autonomous AP to a LAP. So here are some outputs:

adding to Above .
Manually add self-signed certificates (SSCs) to a Cisco Wireless LAN (WLAN) Controller (WLC).
you can manually add the SSC to the WLC.
these kind problems occure with Lightweight AP Protocol (LWAPP)-converted AP.
Via GUI:
Choose Security > AP Policies and click Enabled beside Accept Self Signed Certificate.
Select SSC from the Certificate Type drop-down menu.
Enter the MAC address of the AP and the hash key, and click Add.
Via CLI:
Enable Accept Self Signed Certificate on the WLC. The command is config auth-list ap-policy ssc enable.
(Cisco Controller) >config auth-list ap-policy ssc enable
Add the AP MAC address and hash key to the authorization list,The command is config auth-list add ssc AP_MAC AP_key .

Clients not able to join more 256 nos

Hi
We have using wireless controller CISCO 2125 with 8 nos LWAP 1252, including AP's getting the IP from windows DHCPserver (172.29.70.0/23), when clients reaches 256 nos in controller , then further not able to join in wireless network.
DHCP vendor class or user class will solve this issue. pl guide me .

Well, it's totally expected then as it's the maximum amount of clients supported by the 2125.
If you have that amount of client you should look into having more APs and a more powerful WLC. That limit is not just there for marketing purpose. It looks like your network is under-powered compared to its real usage.

External user not able to join Live Meeting, but can join Lync Meeting

We have LYNC 2010 pool with OCS 2007 R2 & Live Meeting clients ( with few LYNC 2010 clients). We are having issue with one external organization with Live Meetings. If any of our company user schedules Live Meeting, the particular external company users
( they have OCS 2007 R2 and Live Meeting clients) are not able to join our Live meetings. If we schedule Lync Meetings, they are able to join successfully through Web Interface.
On the other side, our users don't have any issue to join their Live Meetings.
We have LYNC edge servers and all external users don't have any issue to join our Live Meetings. The external company also don't have any issue with other users.
It's only 1 to 1 issue with Live Meeting ( not Lync meeting).
Any help to resolve this issue is much appreciated...

From your description, did you mean it is a coexistence environment?
Did they receive any error message from Live Meeting client?
If possible, you can test with other federation companies with Live Meeting client. If it happen to all federation companies, I suggest to double check port, certificate requirement for federation. If it happen only for one company, please check
if Live Meeting Clients update to the latest version.

Managed server not able to join the cluster

I have two storage node enabled coherence servers on two different machines.These two are able to form the cluster without any problem. I also have two Managed servers. When I start one, will join the cluster without any issue but when I start the fourth one which does not join the cluster. Only one Managed server joins the cluster. I am getting the following error.

By default Coherence uses a multicast protocol to discover other nodes when forming a cluster. Since you are having difficulties in establishing a cluster via multicast, Can you please perform a multicast test and see if multicast is configured properly.

Hope you are using same configuration files across the cluster members and all members of the cluster must specify the same cluster name in order to be allowed to join the cluster.

I would suggest, try using the unicast-listener with the well-known-addresses instead of muticast-listener.

Users are able /not able to join Flexconnect APs

Hi Community ,
I have 2504 controllers(.6) at central office and remote APs have joined the Controllers . Flexconnect is Up and working . Problem is I can see some users are able to connect to some flexconnect APs but not to some other APs in the remote side .
What is the reason for this type of behavior ?

You don't happen to have a topology do you? Are you saying you have 6 x 2504's? Why so many? Flex APs are they doing local switching? Do you have VLANs identified on all the FLEX APs? Are the FLEX APs connected to a switch port that allows trunking if they are doing local switching? How are the clients authenticating central or local AAA server?
Really need a L2/L3 topology even pencil sketch to help answer this.

Can someone help me get Photo Stream to appear under Web in the iPhoto Source List? I have updated all my software. iPhoto 11, Mac OS X 10.7.5 All of my preferences are checked. I am able to see the shared Photo Stream on my iPad, but not my Mac. The Mac iPhoto photos from the shared photo stream are appearing in the Photo Stream (under Recent), but I thought they would appear as a shared Photo Stream in its own file/album (like on the iPad and iPhone) - labeled with the shared Photo Stream's title. Is this supposed to happen on the Mac? Thanks!

My client does not able to join Mac OS Server 10.6 Leopard Snow - kGotAuthe

I am currently running Mac OS Server 10.6 Leopard Snow running on my Mac Mini.
Have recently upgraded from previous version of Mac OS Server 10.5
I wanted to connect a client computer (does not matter my Mac Pro or my Mac Book - same results) to the server.
Doing the following: go the system preferences -> Accounts - Login -> and you get the option "Network Account Server" click on join.
My server pops up. My server is on 10.0.1.2 (tried to use server name as well IP address).
So type in the server name and get the following option:
"The server 10.0.1.2 offers Address boek, iChat, Mail... etc.. The I am selecting "Set Up Services",
Type in my name and password. and press continue.
Then I am getting the following message: "Joining the server 10.0.1.2 failed: kGotAuthenticationFailure"
I can go back (is option) and fill in my password again - but that is not the issue because I am putting the right password.
My question: I there any one who had the same issue, and how can I resolve this.

Here i am trying to convert the format of ORIG_PERF_RATING field and trying to join with RATING_CD in physical layer.

Thanks for the link. i was trying another method in joining the two fields (rating_cd, orig_perf_rating) at database level. As i said both these fields are of varchar datatype. Earlier i tried to convert orig_perf_rating field from number to string. But i want to convert string data in (rating_cd) to number. so i have values in it like (1,2,3,4,bep, ep, vp, nr). Actually i have a requirement to create a database view for the dimension table (wc_perf_ratings_d) having rating_cd field with new datatype (number) instead of string and then join this field with orig_perf_rating in fact table which already has numbers. Along with the number rating fields, there are four particular string fields in rating_cd (bep, ep, vp, nr) as i mentioned. so while converting, i also have to convert these specific string fields in to partcular numbers. (bep=1, ep=5, nr=0, vp=3). Now, all this requirement is at database level as i am creating a db view. so my question is how to apply the to_number conversion function for converting the rating_cd field values (bep, ep, vp, nr) from string to specific mentioned numbers. Could you please help?

Not able to join group calls on IOS

Whenever I join any group calls it either has no sound for a few seconds before hanging up, or continuously rings. My skype is updated to the latest version and so is my tablet, I've also tried reinstalling skype. Is there any way to fix this?

AIR-CAP1602i cannot join a WLC 5508 controller

Hello,
I'm managing a large number of access points on a Cisco wlc 5508 controller.
We've recently purchased a bunch of new AIR-CAP1602I-E-K9.
note that we already have AIR-CAP1602I-E-K9 and other models in production.
These A.P are not able to join the controller for some reason, I've tried a lot of different things but I am now at a loss.
I have checked the regulatory domain, upgraded the FUS, manually upgraded the software version of the LAP to match the version on the other A.P.
I even downgraded/upgraded the WLC code (version 7.4.x and 8.0)
I use the dhcp option 43 to to send the controller IP.

I suggest to enable MIC if it is not enabled, and then check if the AP's will join or not.

APs connecting to a 3850 WLC

Hi Team,
I have a customer that has APs that are connected off a Switch and this switch has uplinks to two 3850 wlcs. So the APs are not directly connected to the 3850s but are connected to a switch and vlan that does connect back to the 3850 WLC. The issue they are having is that the APs continously bounce back and worth between the two 3850 wlc. I read somewhere that APs not directly connected to 3850 wlc are not supported currently. Is this really the case? Is this why the APs are bouncing every 2 seconds or so between 3850 WLC?

A. No. The Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch will always terminate the CAPWAP tunnel locally. Pass-through mode or indirectly connected access point is not supported at this time. Note that a Cisco Catalyst 3850 12-port or 24-port SFP model can be a good choice to act as mobility controller for a stack of Cisco Catalyst 3850 switches that terminate CAPWAP tunnels locally.

The error shows like this "Radius Authorization of the AP has failed"
What Could be the reason?

Make sure to check/uncheck AP policies box on WLC.
From WLC GUI > Secuirty > AAA > AP policies, can you verify you have not checked "Authorize MIC APs against auth-list or AAA" ? If checked, uncheck this and try.
On the logs ": RADIUS authorization is pending for the AP " means that this needs the MAC addr to be in the mac filter or AP Policies.
So, from WLC GUI>>Secuirty>>AAA>AP policies>>Add> ? (AP mac addr) and check if it joins.

3850 is in MC mode.
The AP is connected to an access switch which is connected via trunk port to 3850. the access port is in a same vlan as wireless management VLAN.AP is not connected directly to 3850 as this switch is not poe capable.
Country code is set to GB as th AP is ion Europe domain.
