3G Nano: How do I get my photos to display full-screen?

Hi,
I have a 3G Nano.
When I go into PHOTOS the left 1/2 of the screen is always taken up by the menu selections and I have not yet figured out how to get the photos to display full screen. What am I doing wrong?
Please excuse... this is my first iPod...

Select "All Photos" from the menu to the left of those half pictures. Press the center button and you will get "thumb nails of your photos. Run your finger around the touch wheel and a yellow box will highlight the picture. If you start with the first picture and press the center button again you will bring up a full screen pict. To go to the next pict use the touch wheel in a clockwise manner to see each pict. Go to back to the photo menu and go to settings to try out some neat tricks and even add music. Don't ever be worried about asking a question. The only dumb question is the one you didn't ask! I got my nano yesterday and I have some questions that the "help" didn't address also

If your just opening the html file from a link within your site, then you could code the link to open in a new window at full size. This is not done through RH, but instead on the site where its linking to your webhelp index.html page. Its relatively simple, and you can customise things like viewable buttons, scroll bars etc etc.

Oh, unless you shot tall.
If you shoot vertical/tall video it cannot be zoomed all the way out in the exit.
Shoot wide, or edit in a different editing app.

How do I get my contact's photos to display full screen for incoming calls?

I noticed today that when I get an incoming call it no longer displays "full screen". I keep missing calls because it now only displays as a banner at the top of the screen that someone is calling and their photo (if I've assigned one to them) is a tiny thumbnail.
Did I only just notice now that this is another 'great upgrade' with the new IOS, or is this some weird glitch with my phone? I've been wondering how I've been missing calls in the past week, but just happened to catch it today after I had been using the new map app and wasn't sure if it was just a coincidence or if it's somehow connected..?
Is there any way to change this or am I stuck with it this way??

I've never added my contact on my computer, I've always done it through my phone (I didn't know you could do it through the computer). The problem is not the photo, it's that the call doesn't come in and take up the full screen. Now when a call comes in, it displays as a banner at the top of the phone where the time and date normally would be, so I don't notice anyone's phoning.
As far as I can recall, it's only started happening since yesterday after I used the new map app. I've checked my notifications settings and the phone settings and so far as I can see, everything is set the same way it always was. I checked my hubby's phone to see if it's maybe something new since this last update to IOS6, but the call displays full screen (regardless whether the contact has a photo associated to it or not) and not a banner at the top of the screen like mine.
I still don't know how to change this back. Any other suggestions?

How do I get iTunes 11 to display full album names?

I miss the old iTunes already.
My main question is how do I get it to show me my full album names as in album view? It always shows thumbnails of the albums, seems you don't get another choice for how to view your albums...you're forced into what Apple thinks is great, and these thumbnails only have a max of 9 characters before the rest of the album name is not shown. Quite frustrating.
Secondly is there a way to get iTunes to show me my songs like before where the album cover could be seen along a list of all my songs?

How do I get my DVDs to play full screen on a second screen?

I downloaded OS X Lion a few days ago and went to watch a movie on the second screen that is hooked up to my macbook pro. Instead of going to full screen on my TV, the movie moved itself back onto my computer and filled my second screen with a gray picture. Why does it do this, and is ther any way to play a DVD on a second screen in full screen? I have tried mirroring but the movie will not fill my TV screen like it used to with the old system because it is limited to the shape of my computer screen.

This is a general problem with the full screen mode under lion. Every time you bring whatever application in full screen mode the secondary screen is not usable anymore. As workaround you can only switch the primary screen onto you TV screen as long as you watch movies.
I know that this is no final solution but the only alternate is to roll back to SL. (I did so, and now I wait until Apple fix the problem)

I did it also and discribed the problem there. My hope is that if many people do the same this problem gets higher priority and will be resolved by apple devellopers.

Any way to get Illustrator CS5 to display full screen mode like Photoshop?

Is there any way to get Illustrator's screen modes to behave like Photoshop's screen modes?
One of the things I like most about Photoshop is the way it toggles from standard screen mode to "full screen with menu bar" to just "full screen".
For example, in Photoshop's standard mode, the window is no bigger than the size of the canvas. Why can't Illustrator do that?
And, is there anyway to get Illustrator CS5 to display the full screen mode where the background outside the artboard or canvas is black instead of white. Working in Illustrator for long hours, it would much easier on my eyes if the surrounding background could be black like in Photoshop.

At the bottom of the Tool bar is a toggle button (F) which will change the Screen Mode.

How can I get my photo to display correctly as background

I decided to change my background setting today, only to find that it doesn't display correctly anymore.
Before the update, the photo would automatically 'fit in the window' - now it gives you the option to size and scale, but this doesn't actually work, so the photo is HUGE.. I can move it side to side, but can't reduce the zoom so it all fits on the screen.
Is there a way around this - or is it another glitch?

There's a work around, although it's not perfect. Go to your photos app, choose the image you want for wallpaper. Tap on the little box with the arrow poking out of it, send to wallpaper. then you can scale and move a bit to get your image closer to what you want.
It's still not perfect. Basically it scales your image so that it fits the whole screen, which means if your image is wider than your screen, you can just slide it left or right, but you do have more control than if you go through the settings.

How can I get a screenshot of the full screen?

I did a screenshot but it didn't capture the top of the screen which was what I was trying to get because an app didn't have an icon it was supposed to and the customer service rep askd me to send it to them. But the icon that was missing is at the very top and the screenshot was fo the rest of the page, just below that. I ended up with taking a photo of the page with my camera dn sending that but seems ridiculous that I can't get the whole image. Any ideas?

OK, well the control bar doesn't go away even if I wait a full minute but, your suggestion made me take a closer look at the thumbnail and I can see it is there which means if I e-mail it, they should be able to see the whole thing. So this is sort of finished, but I would like to see the whole page and need to know how to make that control strip fade away as you mentioned.

How do I get my photo's from iCloud onto my iTouch

Recently i have been having a lot of problems with my iTouch 4th gen running iOS 5.1.1. This has made me back up multiple times to my computer which has somehow lost all of my photos on my ipod but when I go to the icloud menu in the settings app it shows that they are in the cloud. How do I get my photos from my iCloud account to my ipods camera roll or photo album? Oh yeah, one more thing. My only apple devices are my ipod touch and my ipod nano. Please help, thank you!

Restarting your phone doesn't cause it to grey out.
Were you restoring from an icloud backup? IF so, it does take awhile for pictures to download.
