500 Internal Server Error - Unable to run a custom page from JDEV 10.1.3.3.

Hi
I am trying to run a Custom page from my JDEV. But i am getting the following error.
*500 Internal Server Error*
oracle.apps.fnd.cache.CacheException
at oracle.apps.fnd.cache.AppsCache.get(AppsCache.java:228)
Caused by: oracle.apps.jtf.base.resources.FrameworkException:
An exception occurred in the method CacheAccess.getnullThe base exception is:
Not able to create new database connection: FNDSECURITY_APPL_SERVER_ID
at oracle.apps.jtf.base.resources.FrameworkException.convertException(FrameworkException.java:607)
.... 54 more
I have checked the DBC file. The APPS_JDBC_URL was containing "\". I tried removing that but it dint worked. I checked whether i am using the right version of the JDEV patch, no issues with that also.
Kindly let me know the solution.
Thanks.

User,
You are not running JDEV, but OA Framework, hence you should use the OA Framework Forum to ask.

  • Frequent '500 Internal Server Error' on apexlistener 2.0

    Hi
I hope someone can help me. We've got an OracleXE 11g DB with apex 4.2 and apex listener 2.0 with apache reverse proxy setup. The Database and Apex4.2 is running on it's own Server and the Apex Listener is running in Glassfish on its own server, this is working fine but
sometimes the users gets the listener page with the error '500 Internal Server Error' on it when either going to an apex page or submitting data etc this happens frequently. Before using apex listener we were using EPG and never came across the internal server error, this only started happening after moving to apex listener 2.0 so i assume that the problem is with the listener, I also checked the log files for apache and glassfish but there is no message or error regarding this everything seems to check out. is there someway to view the logfile or setup the log for apexlistener so that i can maybe get more details as to why this is happening??
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
sometimes the users gets the listener page with the error '500 Internal Server Error' on Are you sure this page is issued by APEX Listener? If so, there really should be further information in your APEX Listener's log (in your case, probably part of your GlassFish's server.log).
If the error is actually issued by your reverse proxy, you may find more detailed information in the error log of your proxy service.
(BTW: How did you implement that reverse proxy? - Software, parameters...)

  • Please help 9iDS - 500 internal server error

    Hi all,
I got the message 500 internal server error when I run report from form by using WEB.SHOWDOCUMENT. When I test it seperately, both the report and form work fine. But i got this problem when I run report from form. Is anyone have suggestions? I try so many ways but still can't solve this problem. Thank you very much.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply! And yes its very frustrating. There is no other reference to this error - and I have the app and all Oracle components (oc4j & Apache) at their maximum log level.
I have logged a SR with Oracle and off course their first response was that it "must be an issue with the 3rd party app". Needless to say the 3rd party vendor suggests I speak to Oracle...Anyway I am still working with Oracle on the SR.
I have in the meantime upgraded to 9041, but I still get the same. I will try 9042 next. I have also started a "Plan B" workaround in my code...
Thanks for the sympathy and any other other insights still most welcome...
    Cheers.
    Anton.

  • 500 Internal Server Error PermGen space

Almost every time I redeploy my application, I get a
    500 Internal Server Error
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
response from the application server. To recover, I have to restart the application server. Any ideas on how to prevent this error?
    thanks,
    chas

I should add some more helpful information, maybe :)
I get the permgen OutOfMemory while redeploying an app, most commonly. Since there's no lifecycle event when an application is stopped, as far as I know, our singletons are never cleaned up from the old classloader. So it's quite possible the garbage collector or classloader are holding onto stale references to objects or classes from the now stopped and un-deployed application. I know our apps create a lot of objects under those singletons.
Maybe this is the key to fixing the error? I have noticed 10.1.3 gives helpful-looking warnings on standard error:
07/01/19 15:03:54 com.example.propmgr.PropertyManagerException: An Exception has occured while loading the following
    file: timeout.propertiesClassLoader "gm.root:0.0.0" (from <application> in /C:/oc4j101310/j2ee/gm/applications/gm/): This
loader has been closed and should not be in use.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
if you used a starter workspace then make sure that the adf-faces-impl.jar file and the jsf-impl.jar file in the WEB-INF/lib directory of the ViewLayer project is from the JDeveloper build you use. In JDeveloper you find the adf-faces-impl.jar in the JDeveloper jlib directory and the jsf-impl.jar in the jsf-ri directory

  • Running a WD-Appl. results in 500   Internal Server Error

    Dear all,
I installed both JAVA and ABAP stack (Sneak preview 6.40 SP15) on one box.
In the NSP I created a Web Service via SE37 using an existing RFC function module of my own. Then I released my Web Service for SOAP Runtime via WSCONFIG.
Next I checked the WSDL document and run a test via WSADMIN. On the right side I can see all retrieved data in a tree. Congratulation!
Next I created a Web Dynpro Project in the NW DevStudio that uses my Web Service:
    - the model using my WSDL from above and
    - context and model binding
    - a view showing a table and a pushbutton .
    Eerything went fine ... saveing-deploying-running ...
A html-page appears, I see my empty table and a shiny button ... I exspect that the Web Service Function Module will be triggered and the table shows me some entries, but instead, when I push the button, I get an error message: "500   Internal Server Error
Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator. " What did go wrong? Who can help me?

    Good evening,
maybe some more info about my system:
    - both stacks are running (all traffic lights are green)
    - the function module sends 5 fields per line, but in the
View of my WebDynpro I included only 4, excluded field

    - Web-Browser is running with lowest security level
