5800 not getting hacked

Guys I updated my phone firmware to the leatest one, ie. V52.0.007. And my phone was already hacked. But after I upgraded to the new firmware, I formatted my phone and hacked it again just to make sure nothing goes wrong. It worked and everything was fine.
Now I bought new MMC. So I put my old MMC stuff in the new one and put in additional stuff also from the PC and I again formatted the phone before putting in the new MMC. Now I dont know why but i cant hack my phone. HelloOx2 does not work for me anymore. How is this possible?? I know I keep formatting a lot but its just to be sure to stay away from errors. I usually format my phone once in every two months.
So now please help me. I want to install apps but I cant until the phone is hacked. Any help guys? Its real urgent!! I have my phone cert and key from opda.

  • Why did my Events get hacked up?

After "upgrading" to iPhoto '11, I see that Events that span several days all got hacked into daily events. Now I have to go back and reconstruct all those Events.
This is the worst upgrade I've ever experienced from Apple.
    Please send feedback to: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html

I upgraded. Events that cover multiple dates got separated into separate dates, based on dates. So a week's vacation in Santa Barbara no longer is one event, but seven.
Some Events did not get hacked up, but many did. It appears that older photo Events got hacked up, newer ones did not.

  • 9330 - Yahoo! Email getting hacked via phone

So, I've had my new phone for the past month, no issues with it until about 2 days ago. People are hacking into my yahoo email through my Blackberry. When I logged into my mail on my laptop browser, there were logins from Thailand, Mexico, Argentina and last night after I went to bed, Canada. The ones from the other night sent spam email to all my contacts. After sending apology emails, I changed my pw one more time.
Here's the latest login from last night:
    3:14 AM
    Yahoo! Mail for RIM/BlackBerry
    Logged In
    Canada
So, is there a way to avoid this? My pw are complex with the special characters and everything. I am NOT on a corporate email system and I'm extremely careful as to what websites I go to.
Any suggestions so my account will stop getting compromised?
I've never had this issue with any of my previous Blackberries. As of right now, I changed my pw on my laptop broswer this morning and I have NOT re-sync'd it with my Blackberry yet.

Your BlackBerry device is not getting "hacked", it sounds like your Yahoo email account is, though.
    You need to call Yahoo.

    Hi All,
I need help, my password keeps getting hacked, and I keep changing the password, and changing all my security questions. I have changed everything I can. How can I disable my account, but not lose everything that I already have in there? Is this possible or do I have to start all over again?

You might have some better luck if you call your country number from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and ask to speak with the Account Security Team.

  • Can not get wiki to work

    Hey there,
I have been trying to set up Leopard server for over a week. I can not get DNS, Open Directory and Wiki to work for me. This is my 5th instal. The first attempt, I went with standard thinking that the ease of use would be an asset, but then after getting it going I realized that there was no FTP access with standard, which was not an option.
INSTAL 2: I reformatted and went ahead with the advanced server this time around. In no time I had FTP; AFP; iChat and web services running fine. Then when I went to set up wiki i realized that I had to have DNS and Open Directory running before that would work. I guess that I should of read up on that one... I had actually created all of my users and groups in local directory which seemed to work fine for ftp; afp and ichat for a few days but I really wanted to get the wiki going.
INSTAL 3: I reformatted, set up DNS (or at least I thought I did) Open Directory and then recreated all of my users and groups in Open directory. I quickly got afp running; then ftp and ichat (jabber) with no issues. But when I went ahead with wiki, I could not get it to work properly. I could log into the wiki from my LAN using the local domain name that I had chosen but could not get it to work when I would attempt to do it from home using my dyndns.org account which forwards to my office IP which is mapped through router port 80 to my servers local IP. When doing this I was taken to: http://myurl.dyndns.org/groups/workgroup/
    I got the message:
    "Not Found
404: No group with that name (workgroup) hosted on this server"
If I click on "Groups" the error goes away and I see my wiki group but if I clicked on it I would get:
    "Not Found
404: No group with that name (marcato) hosted on this server"
When I went back to the office I could still get at my wiki by going to my local url: minserver.local and then selecting groups and then clicking on the desired wiki and then logging in. I then tried to accessing it using the machine's local IP since that is essentially what is happening when I come in from the WAN side using my dyndns.org account. So i typed in its local address and got the 404 error. When I click on groups again, just like when I was home coming in over the WAN, I get the same message. Why would I be seeing the group but not able to log in to it. Why would it allow me to access and use the Wiki from the LAN using miniserver.local but not using the machine's static Local IP address?
I then decided to go watch all of Sean Collin's videos on Leopard Server in oder to get a handle on this.
INSTAL 4: Walked through everything with Sean's video up to getting DNS set up. It failed! At this point I was frustrated so I decided to throw in the towel on Advanced. I got out my old tiger installer and set up ftp on another older G4 and then went for INSTAL 5. This time I reverted back to Standard, got all of the services running fine but as soon as I got home I ran into the same issue with the wiki. I could not access it from outside of the Office LAN. I went through and opened every port recommended and still nothing. Then, in efforts to try to make it work and in frustration of the limitations of the Standard interface I upgraded the configuration from standard to advanced to see if I could get to the bottom of this. I went back to reading a bunch more stuff about Mac Server and found the Sudo Changeip -checkhostname. It gave me the proper IP of the server as well as the proper hostname but said that the DNS was not working properly and needed to be repaired. I tried a few hacks I found online but still could not get the DNS going properly
I am not sure what to do now. In an ideal world I would love to get leopard Advanced running properly so that I could host the wiki, afp, ftp, and ichat (jabber) from the same machine. But no matter what I try I can not seem to wrap my head around DNS. Even if I could do it with Standard and keep the ftp on the old mac with tiger... This is frustrating since I feel really confident with setting up everything else, I just do not seem to be able to get DNS to work properly which I assume has to do with the problem with the wiki not working from the WAN.
Can someone please help me here?

I have tried a bunch of hacks to try to get things working and still nothing. I actually find that the server is running really slow now so I am clearly going to be starting from skratch again. I will wait for some advice before I proceed. Here is what I have set up:
    1. I made a fake url using dyndns which routes to the IP address of the router at work. I want to be able to use this address to access the wiki from WAN
    2. I have the following ports opened and assigned to my servers LAN address:

    3. I am not sure what is meant exactly by a fully qualified domain. From what I understood in Sean's Collin's videos was that this was a url that I was to make up on my local network and that putting the . at the end made it FQDN. I choose: miniserver.local. Am I totally missing the mark here?
Here are the parts of the set up where I am really confused:
    a. When setting up the server with Server Assistant, when it asks for Primary DNS and computer name. What am I supposed to put in here? I read one post that recommended that quiting the set-up assistant before this point and doing it manually?
    b. Once I get through the assistant and launch Server Admin, and sign into it using the servers local IP, get into DNS and go to add zones, I am REALLY CONFUSED.
    - I add my primary zone, What is the primary zone? What do I enter here? What about the name server? I do not understand the difference between these 2 things.
    c. Then I go to add my A record for the machine. What should its Machine name be? the same as the primary zone?
What is the easiest way to get through this? I know that once I this is set up and I can get the wiki to work over the WAN that I am not going to have any problems with the rest. I don't even want to bind the computers to the server if I don't have to. I know that for ichat (jabber); afp and ftp that this is not required since every time I have attempted to get the server up these services worked every time without the binding.

  • I have had 3 days worth of unauthorised purchases. How can I get my money back?  I have changed my password again and I have disabled my credit card.  My account is constantly getting hacked

I am sick of getting hacked..... This is the 3rd time my account has been hacked.  This time it has only been for $30-40 but it is very alarming that it is getting hacked at all.  I have changed my password agian to a random thing.   Lets see how long I can stay hacked free this time.  If this continues I may have to put a formal complaint in to Apple.  And maybe only buy non-apple products....

It's most likely not you, no matter what they say. I have noticed a LOT of fraud with itunes, even with my own account. One time I caught them doing a database restore. I know this because my password automagically reverted back to an old one! I'm an IT guy who helped design DOD classified networks in the mid-pacific. I know security. The best protection for this is to NOT have a credit card listed in iTunes. Use iTunes cards ONLY. It's a pain, but until they step up, it's all you got.

  • I connected my iphone 3g to itunes which was in 4.1 firmware and itunes ask for an update which i downloaded an updated the phone to version 6.1.3 but my phone cannot start it shows no service my sim card is not getting network and i cannot use the phone.

i connected my iphone 3g to itunes which was in 4.1 firmware and itunes ask for an update which i downloaded an updated the phone to version 6.1.3 but my phone cannot start it shows no service my sim card is not getting network and i cannot use the phone. what should i do.?

First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. You can check the model you have by entering your serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier.

  • My hotmail gets hacked is it a virus?

My hotmail account has been hacked 3 times now, I keep changing the password, so is it malware or a virus?  How do I find out?

This is not likely to be any kind of malware. See my Mac Malware Guide.
As to how your account is getting hacked, it could be that you're not using good passwords, as sig has suggested. It's also possible that Hotmail has some way of allowing the hackers to leave themselves a back door. I'm not familiar with Hotmail, but on GMail, there's a setting tucked away out of sight that allows you to give complete access to your account to someone else, and hackers have been known to use that to give themselves continuing access, even after the account password has been changed. It's also possible that there's some Hotmail vulnerability that allows hackers to get access without needing a password.
If your password is being reset, it could be that whatever password reset system Hotmail is using is being abused by a hacker. And, of course, we can't eliminate the human element... it's often possible for hackers to get access to an account by calling customer support and convincing a tech to reset the password to give them access.

  • I have update software of iphone 3gs from 4.1 to 6.0.1 but its not getting activate

I tried to upgrade the iphone 3gs software from 4 to 6.0.1 but when i switched it on...it is not getting activated...what to do ? how to get my iphone working again?

It was probably hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. Updating iOS in that case, can brick the phone.

  • Keep getting hacked. Anti-virus/Keylogger?

I am an active Twitter user and my account is constantly getting hacked despite "very strong" passwords.
I am concerned that I may have a virus or a keylogger. I have tried iAntiVirus but is there something better? I found iAntiVirus through CNET where it came the best reviewed anti-virus for a Mac.
I'm not really sure what to do as it has been about 3x in a week of getting hacked on Twitter. All my software is up-to-date (just checked) and am running Mac OS X 10.6.8 (there is a conflict between my Adobe programs and Lion which is why I haven't upgraded to that).
    Any suggestions?

  • Do I have to worry about my macpro getting hacked?

Do I have to worry about my macpro getting hacked?

The SSL problem has been handled by Apple through security updates to the Mavericks and Mountain Lion and Lion operating systems.  If your operating systems are up-to-date you have little to worry about.
The Mac OS X Mavericks update, 10.9.2, is quick and easy to install.
The concerns with the SSL flaw are with using an unsecure public wireless network.  If you are using your MBP on a wired network or your own network there is very little likelihood of a problem.  The flaw did not allow access to the computer, just third-party eavesdropping on the communication.
But, one should always be aware of the risks involved in transmitting sensitive information such as credit card numbers, bank account information, over any public wireless network.  Always use proper secure and encrypted communications when doing that.

  • Do SAP Security Notes contain hacker and/or virus defence?

    Dear SCN fellows,
I am new to this community and generally new to asking for SAP help in discussions and blogs.
I need some advice on whether SAP Security Notes contain hacker and/or virus defences?
I am investigating a companies SAP Security settings against its policy and global market standards.  I have identified that since our SAP rollout SAP Security notes patches have not been maintained.  RSECNOTE provides a large list of missing security notes.  I'm writing a report and what to confirm whether these notes offer any advice, support or notification of hacking or viruses.  Similar to Internet security software I guess.
Can anyone advise if my thoughts and questioning is heading in the right direction or have I got the concept of SAP Security Notes completely wrong?
    Thank you kindly.
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
I need some advice on whether SAP Security Notes contain hacker and/or virus defences?
SAP releases respective security notes as per the loophole identification.  Once you run RSECNOTE you get the list of all applicable notes to your software release.
Applying these notes will help you to remove the vulnerability SAP identified, So yes it contains solution to remove vulnerability.
I'm writing a report and what to confirm whether these notes offer any advice, support or notification of hacking or viruses.  Similar to Internet security software I guess.
Could you please elaborate it is not that clear to me.

I can't do that since I do nothing with Windows.
It sounds like it was hacked to run XP and then makes it not run OS X now.
Only thing I can suggest is to repartition the hard drive to a single HFS+, GUID partition and see if that allows you to install OS X.
