5800XM Is there a way to rename an Application?

I have installed the Sudoku widget obtained from the Nokia Hong Kong website onto my 5800 XpressMusic.  I assume because I don't have the Chinese language installed on my phone, the widget is showing up in my Applications menu with 2 boxes (੡੡) where the Sudoku App name should be.  Strangely when you play the game it is all in English.  Anyway, is there a way of renaming the Application so it shows the word Sudoku?

Unfortunately it's not possible.  I've also tried that app and it is annoying to see.

  • Is there a way to rename all photos in a folder?

Is there a fast way to rename all the photos in one folder e.g. I have diffreent folders say "wedding" and "birthday" with alot of photos in each. Is there a way to rename all photos in the folder to the same name like all called wedding?
Also when i open photos they automatically open with preview, do I need to impost them into iPhoto or should they just automatically save there?

Are these photos in iPhoto? If so, then use the Photos -> Batch Change command.
IF not then you can use a batch file renamer such as Name Mangler
iPhoto is a database and can only show pics that have been imported to the DB.

  • Is there a way to rename a template without breaking existing pages using the 'old' template?

    Hi guys,
I am using CQ 5.4. and I want to refactor existing code of a project. Part of that involves renaming existing templates. Renaming one locally, I saw that existing pages break because they can't 'find' the old template. is there a way to rename a template without breaking those pages?
    Thanks,
    Alex

I'm not aware of any GUI tool that does this in Leopard. you can change the names of the share points by hand by editing the appropriate plists located in /private/var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/config/SharePoints/ but that's a pretty horrible way to do it and is the opposite of user friendly. don't know any other way though.

  • Is there any way to get an application to load automatically on server start?

We're trying to implement a load-balancing mechanism between FMS hosts in a virtual "farm".  The mechanism we're using is to have the FMSs periodically send "load" data (along with a timestamp) to an application server.  That server will then use that load information and timestamp to detect when an FMS server has gone down and to make stream assignments to FMSs.
Right now, I've implemented this code via a setInterval() in live/main.asc.  I've added a "return false" to Application.onAppStop() to (according to the docs, I haven't tested this yet) keep the server from shutting down an idle instance.  So I've left with a "chicken and egg" issue: how do I get the interval running before the first request hits the application (and forces the load of the application)?  I've tried putting the setInterval in onAppStart() and as a global.  In both cases, it only gets executed after application is loaded.
So, is there any way to force an application to load (via a config file parameter or local command-line)?

    Hi,
I am sorry i have not read the full details what you wrote, but if you are looking for loading of application on start of the server, there is a configuration tag in application.xml called loadonstartup and by default it is set to false. Set it to true to enable it and all the apps will be loaded on server start.
alternatively , you can make an application.xml inside the application folder and set this tag to true, to have this applied only to a particular application,
Also, the fms admin console can launch a new instance of an app without any connection being made initially.
    Thank you !

  • Is there any way to automate purging Application Logging in azure storage account tables

is there any way to automate purging Application Logging in azure storage account tables
    Rohit Pasrija

    hi Rohit,
If you want to delete old data automatically, I think you need develop this feature by yourself. You could code the logic methods on your project, and set a timer to execute the methods to delete old data. Please refer to this thread (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13602629/is-it-possible-to-acces-a-table-storage-in-azure-from-an-azure-web-site
), you could operate table storage data using azure sdk or REST API.
    Please try it.

  • Is there a way to rename multiple Itunes songs at the same time

Is there a fast way to rename multiple Itunes songs at once, instead of renaming one song inside Itunes at a time? For example; So I can select multiple songs at once and rename each songs Genre all at the same time? Without needing to rename song by song?
    Casey Computer

You can click on multiple songs, and change info in the Get Info > Info screen.  This applies to most fields EXCEPT Name.  iTunes has never allowed the simultaneous change of Name of multiple songs, presumably on the grounds that it is usually an error to do so.
Regarding Genre, yes, this can be changed for multiple songs at once, using the Info tab of Get Info.

  • Is there a way to rename an ASM DiskGroup from the Disks in 11g ?

    Hello,
I've been looking for that and I didn't find anything except that it may not have been possible with 10g.
I'd like to rename a diskgroup to reuse it in the same ASM instance from a netapp snapclone. Of course I would prefer to do it without any ASM instance accessing it but afterall, if there is a way... (even not supported; it's to enable a set of testing database all together) !
    Thank you for your help.
    Gregory

    Hi Gregory,
since all information about ASM Disk, Diskgroup, etc. are stored directly on the disks there is no way to rename the diskgroup at the moment (hopefully in the future, like a way to change diskgroup redundance).
Only option you have is to create a new diskgroup and copy the datafiles over with either RMAN or DBMS_FILE_TRANSFER. Then rename the file to point to new location. (alter datafile).
But since you want to duplicate it into a different ASM Diskgroup, that will not help you. The option left is to change the Disk Header information directly. Unfortunately I do not have any information about the disk header itself...
Hopefully someone can give you a hint what all to change there if you would DD this to a file change it and store it back...
    Regards
    Sebastian

  • Is there a way to rename a group of tracks being imported to Itunes?

Usually, when I import audiobooks from CD to ITunes, I end up with a series of tracks named "Track 01" through "Track XX". I have ITunes set to search the internet for track names, but audiobook tracks aren't songs and seldom have names entered on-line. So, if an audiobook has 11 CDs, I end up with 11 sets of tracks named "Track 01" through "Track XX".
I like to listen to audiobook tracks in the sequence in which they were recorded. The only way I've found to keep the tracks in order in a multi-disk import is to prefix each track name with a sequence number or letter (for instance the number of the CD). Unfortunately, this requires editing a couple hundred track names - one at a time.
Is there any way to highlight multiple tracks and insert a prefix in front of ALL track names selected, or to have ITunes add a "relative disk number" as part of the import?
    Thanks

    Hi!
You can import a CD, then click on all the titles at once and choose information, there you can either mark each cd as "CD x of y" and / or you can enter continuing numbers in addition to the title of the audio book.
I hope this helps -it is my first reply..

  • Is there a way to rename a share in Leopard?

Before Leopard is was possible to use the utility Sharepoints to rename a share without changing the name of the folder that was being shared. I have not yet found a way to rename a share using the Sharing preference in Leopard.

  • Is there a way to speed up Applications Listing?

Every time I open Finder and click on Applications, it takes 20-30 seconds until it lets me scroll through the listing because it has to redraw the icons for every application. Is there a way to cache these icons so it doesn't stall every time? Note that once the icons are drawn, I can go to another area like Downloads, and then back to Applications and it's fine, but if I close the Finder window, or reboot, I have to wait again.

    Thanks!
Let us know if it helps. FWIW, I've noticed as well in Leopard that folders with large numbers of items, like Applications, definitely seem to take longer to become scrollable than they did in Tiger. In fact I have a Tiger and a Leopard machine in the same room and it's easy to see.
One thing might contribute to this. Notice that even with "Calculate all Sizes" de-selected, Leopard does something that Tiger does not- it displays the size of all application Packages (Packages are basically glorified Folders). In fact, most of your apps are probably packages nowadays anyhow. Tiger didn't bother to display the sizes of those, but Leopard does.

Control-click it and choose Open. Alternatively, open the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, click on the General tab, unlock the pane, and set it to allow applications from anywhere.
