651 movement type

Hello ,
How can I do a 651 movement type ?
To my knowledge this movement type is receipt of stock to blocked and this will not create any FI documents ?

Hello,
When a customer returns any articles back to the vendor, they are directly not brought in the unrestricted stock. It is first checked and then basis to the result is transferred to the respective sloc.

Hello all,
I have the problem below:
I create a sales document for Return (VA01) with document type RZ Item category REN schedule line category DN, when I save my document, the system automatically create an outbound delivery with delivery type LR and movement type Z02.
I want to know how do I manage my customizing to change this default movement type from Z02 to 651.
You have to know that movement type of DN schedule line category in customizing (VOV6) is 561.

Generally , The Movement type from the SCHEDULE LINES will be copied into the Delivery document
If u want the movement type 651 in the Return delivery document, you have to mantain the 651 in the DN schedule lines,
In standard DN will have 651 movement type,

User exit for return from delivery - 651 movemment type in WM

Hi Guru,
We are going to implement a customize program to control the putaway storage location when the HU returning from delivery in WM environment.
The process is as below:
1. Create the return order with reference to the original billing document;
2. Create the return delivery (original storage location is 0001).
3. Manually attached the HU we want to return to the delivery ;
<<<< 4.LT03 to create the TO for this delivery. >>>>>
         - then it will automatically PGR (material document with 651 movement type)
         - A TO will automatically created and from 904 to another destination storage type 101 (setup in the 651 movement type).
The requirement is: we need to change the storage location when the TO (904 to 101) is confirmed according to some logic.
We found that we can not use the user exit "EXIT_SAPLL03T_001 - User Exit at End of TO Creation (in Update Task)" or   'EXIT_SAPLL03T_002 - User Exit at End of TO Confirmation (in Update Task)". We set the break point, but it didn't stop there.
Any one can help us where we can put our code in?

The user exit MWMTO001 (FM EXIT_SAPLL03T_001) runs usually in Update
Task. That means that you have to switch on the update debugging in
order to let the debugger stop in this exit. In most cases update
debugging isn´t switch on when the debugger doesn´t stop in the exit.

PGI Receipt Accounting Document Not Created_ Movement Type 651

Dear SAP Expert,
In my company 1st time we have cretaed a return sales scenario in SAP, I made return sales order with reference to biling document thn made delivery dcument (movement type - 651) goods kept in return storage location automatically during PGI Receipt after tht credit note is issued.
Now accounting document during PGI Receipt (movement type -651- goods return delivery) is not created.
I am not getting why system is not generating accounting document with movement type 651,kindly advice if there any configuration is missing in system.
Account grouping data for Mvt type 651 is empty, i want to know how to enter data into that so that accounting entry could be generated.
Looking forward for your quick response on the same.

In a sales return process
Invoice-> Return sales order ->PGR->Credit for return
Once the material comes to stock " RETURNS"
Proceed the following steps
1. Reversal of Excise Invoice u2013 J1IH (additional Excise)
Create the excise JV (if it is excisable material)
2. Transfer of Returned Stock to Restricted/Quality Stock u2013 MIGO (Movement type - 457)
Now the material document create the Accounting entries.
Hope return process get completed and details will be helpful.

Sales Returns Stock posting using movement type 651

Hi Experts,
I want to upload the sales returns stock using movement type 651. Because, our existing company code 'xxxx' has been changed to 'zzzz' and all the stocks, balances and so on has been uploaded and carry forwarded to new company code 'zzzz'.
Now, I stuck with the customer/sales returns stock. Also, I know that there is no accounting effects with the movement type 651 i.e., blocked stock stored in customer rejection storage location.
I have tried lot but I didn't get the solution for the same.
Kindly share some ideas to upload the sales returns stock.

Is there any other way to post the stock in customer rejection storage location with the movement type 655?

While doing pgr we do 651 and then 453 for taking stock into own stock.But if we want to avoid 453.
How can we update quantity in pgr with only one movement type ?

With this movement type you post returns from the customer with returns delivery via Shipping directly to the valuated stock.
Possible special stock indicators:

It will have same effect as 651 +453

Movement type 651(copy Z651) make it reduce consignment stock like 632 does

I copied movement type 651 to Z651 in order to have an inspection type attached.
Now it needs to post the consigment stock (special stock W) like movement type 632 does.
I cannot use 632 because it does not create an inspection lot.
How can I make my Z651 reduce the consignment stock?

Generally by using movement type 651, you post returns from a customer with a return delivery in Shipping to blocked stock returns. Special stocks are not possible for this movemnt type and the special stock for consignment is K. Hence Z651 will not fulfill your requirement. Please use 632 and create inspection lot manually using the T-code QA01.Thanking you.

Whenever goods movment happens following things are going on in the background:
A material document is generated, which is used as proof of the movement and as a source of information for any other applications involved.
If the movement is relevant for Financial Accounting, one or more accounting documents are generated.
The stock quantities of the material are updated.
The stock values in the material master record are updated, as are the stock and consumption accounts.
651 - two steps - with a transfer posting using 453
653 - one steps - direct post to unrestricted used
*Using movement type 651, you post returns from a customer with a return delivery in Shipping to blocked stock returns.
Using 653 movement type, you post returns from the customer with returns delivery via Shipping directly to the valuated stock.

I"ve created return delivery from customer sales return, after creating goods movement type should be for return i.e. stock should increase, instead its taking 601 m. type for Goods Issue!
Where to change so that delivery takes proper m. type for return delivary?

In addition to what Mr.Lakshimipathi has suggested in VOV6
if you choose movement type 655 it will go to quality inspection
if you choose movement type 653 it will go to unrestricted stocks
if you choose movement type 651 it will go to blocked stocks
The standard says it should be either 655 or 651

Can we use Movement Type other than 653

Hi all
we are using movement type 653 for material which are being returned by customer.
we dont want to create FD ( Free of Chagre) Sales order against the returned delivery.
Problem
The Return Delivery is being showed in VLO6 transaction,(outbound delivery),we dont want the return delivery to get displayed in this transaction.Is their any other transaction we can use inplace of 653,in order to get material in unrestricted stock as well as the delivery should not be get displayed in the transaction.
I have created the new return delivery type (By copying LR) and at the time of runing the T-code VLO6,I exclude that delivery.
In this way the delivery is not being shown.
If there is any other way to slove this issue please let me know.

transaction, "(outbound delivery)"
Not sure on this. When you say you created a return delivery, how it is appearing in outbound delivery list. For information, standard movement types in SD for returns are 651, 653 & 655 and transfer the blocked stock to unrestricted use with movement types like 453, if you wish to do so.
But strictly speaking, all returns will have to be addressed in QM and only after their clearance, any returned material should be reused.

Movement types without description in Spanish

Hi !
We are facing a problem on that some movement types like 651 does not have description in Spanish language. For example, in the MB51 we cannot see any description for some movement types.
In the development environment its ok , in the quality and productive its wrong.
Do you have any clue on that?

Return Delivery- Move type issue

Hi frnds
I have an issue i have not been able to resolve.
The client wants to scrap the material when receiving the return delivery(LR) on a return order(RE). Initially 657 mov type was asssigned to DN schedule line category in VOV6, so i changed it to 551 but when i ran the return delivery i got error that the update control for this move type does not exist.
I then copied the mov type 657 in OMJJ and renamed it (999) and in the update control kept the ref mov type as 551 but on running return delivery the stock is still going in the blocked area instead of getting scrapped.
Does someone have any suggestions for me.... I think i am missing something but am not able to figure it out. I hope i can scrap the material form a return delivery.!!!!
If i use move type 657(GR-blocked stock) and then use 555(GI-scrap from blocked stock) in Move type step 1 in transaction VOV6, will it work ?????

The movement type for Return Delivery is 651. Pls make use of this movement type to first post the goods as Returns goods.
Then using 453 you can post them into unrestricted stock.

101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.
Possible special stock indicators:
     K Goods receipt for purchase order to consignment stock
     O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
     E GR for purchase order or order to sales order stock
     Q GR for purchase order or order to project stock.
Goods receipt for
subcontract order: at goods receipt, the consumption of the components is posted at the same time (see movement type 543)
Goods receipt for

You can use this movement type to carry out a transfer posting from your own unrestricted-use stock, other sales order stock, consignment stock, and project stock to a sales order stock.

You can use this movement type to carry out a transfer posting from your own unrestricted-use stock, consignment stock, and other project stock to a project stock.

Part of the stock of an "empties" material assigned to a full product is managed in the stock type "tied empties".
Empties stock not assigned to a full product forms part of the stock type "unrestricted-use".
Using movement type 441, you can make a transfer posting for an empties material from the stock type "unrestricted-use" to the stock type "tied empties". Movement type 442 reverses this transaction.
Example:
The full product "beer" has a stock of 15 cases. Part of the empties components "bottle" and "case" is tied empties stock.
