8530 - no "send" option availablel?

New to BB so plz bear with me.
I typed in full email address in "To" field and then some text in the body. When ready to send, I press that "Menu" button and got a list of options on the left-hand side. Everything except "Send"!!!
Can only save as draft.....
However,
(1) if I go to contact list first and select someone's email then I can send. No problem.
(2) also, SMS provides "send" option so no issue there either.
(3) receiving emails works fine.
Did "resend service books" numerous times and battery pull too.
Please help. Thank you.

This is a service book issue. 
What email service are you using?  Has this worked in the past and has stopped or did you just set this account up?

    Hi Folks
    Hoping you smart uber users can help me with my 'no send' issue.
    This is a new issue. I can only guess the issue (no send option) stems from the recent update of desktop manager version 4.3 I performed 3 days ago. 
    Desktop manager running on XP SP2 including all Microsoft routine updates. 
    Snapshot of the troubleshooting I attempted to fix issue.
    1. Remove and reinstall battery - issue still not resolved - and register again
    2. Options - for those who are novice, the icon looks like a wrench
    A)    Selected advanced options, then Service Book and deleted the all list in the service book except for   the provisioning option
    B)    selected Host routing table and selected register now
    Have any of you had a similar issue and can you help. thanks

    Register Now wont resend service books to your device. Have your BES admin resend them (if applicable) or log into your BIS site and resend them to yourself.

    to broadcast as PDF you need Adobe Document services installed ... is it configured properly and also are you able to broadcast in other formats ?

    Ok, I see you were not trying to mail it, you're trying to send it to another library
    it could be the URL is too long. there is a 256 character limit, and maybe the URL that is getting generated exceeds the limit.

  • PO to supplier using external send option email (to multiple addresses)

    Hello All,
    We have activated PO external send option for our client but they want that PO should be sent to more than one ID of the supplier and it seems that is not possible by maintaining multiple addresses in Vendor Master's Address view as system only picks one having indicator ticked, also system does not allow to tick it for more than one address. Please let me know if it is possible using standard function to send PO email to more than one address.
    I need to know if there is any standard way of doing this w/o using any development or ABAP work.
    Also has anybody tried using disctribution list SO15 if it is possible?
    Please help we are at Go live.

    Hi,
    From my opinion, it's impossible of the standard function in SAP system, so:
    Firstly you need to confirm with your buyers, whether they really require to send the information to multiple addresses, maybe they can send the information to one contact person on vendor side, then the contact person can forward the email to other relevant people;
    If have to do it, you need to develope an ABAP background job to do it!

    Good Morning, I have a new BB Curve, I am able to compose a new email, hit the menu and get the send option and all is well.  However, if I hit reply to an email I have received, type in my response, hit the menu button, the send option does not appear, even when I hit full menu, the paste command is in place of the send command.  Any Help would be great.

  • Unable to fix missing send option

    Hi there,
    I have a BB 9000 and have recently taken it abroad where I have a separate SIM and BB account with a local network provider.  Everything has been working perfectly since I changed SIM to the local provider (BBM, receiving email messages, Facebook notifications etc.).  Recently though I've only been able to send emails if replying to an existing email.  If I compose a new email the send option is missing.  If I save as draft I lose all the data in the 'to' field.  Having read the forums I've deleted the service books, done a battery pull, re-registered the host routing table and re-sent the service books (on my local network provider's page).  I'm still in the same position whereby the send option is missing when I compose a new email but it's not missing if I choose to reply to an email.
    Any advice gratefully received!

    I found a fix... but it's clearly a bug.  Ironically, opening general options in email and changing "Show recent contacts when composing email" to "no", achieves the exact opposite!  Autosuggest re-starts and most importantly  the send option mysteriously reappears.  All credit to: http://forums.crackberry.com/f152/auto-suggest-contact-not-working-when-composing-email-468369/

  • RFC Sender - Sender option greyed out

    I am trying to configure the communication channel for RFC_sender.  I have completed the steps as per Michal's blog - created RFC destination in my R/3 system, registered the program etc.
    My problem occurs when creating the communication channel.
    As soon as I select RFC as the adapter, the Sender option is greyed out and only the Receiver option is active. 
    Any insights into why this is the case would be very helpful.

    You need to download the tpz file from service.sap.com and place it in your import directory and import the component in your IR.

    It is not there because you have created tech or buss. systems, it is there only coz you or some of your BASIS team member have imported the content into IR.
    Now you dont need to delete it and reimport it. Just place the tpz file on the import directory and import it. This will over write the previosly present conetet.

    HTTP
    IDoc
    XI
    Note for HTTP and IDOC you dont have a sender communication channel.
    Also you dont need XI sender communication channel for ABAP proxy, not sure about JAVA proxy.

    It appears you might need a Yahoo plus account to utilize it as an SMTP server.    The server address is plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    Other than that, I would contact Yahoo support directly.  Ask them if they require password authentication. If they do, usually your e-mail address is your username.  Often they require port 587, 2626, or 2662.  Only Yahoo would know for certain which one to use.

  • Can't reply to Email ( Send option dissappears )

    I just upgraded a customers phone from an 8700g to an 8310. Anyhow, he can send email if he composes it himself, but he can not directly reply to any emails. When he selects reply and then composes and tries to send the send option is not available. Instead he has to select the person is he going to email and select email to address from the options menu. In which case, is not a direct reply. Any help is much appreciated.

    Send option in BW iView sends BW report from EP to the BW Inbox..can we send it to externa e-mail IDs also apart from portal??
    Also suppose if I generate a report for today showing 12000KG sale..can I schedule it so that it automatically update the data for every day when reach to user's inbox??

    I guess SMTP comes in picture if u try to mail to the outlook or any external mail address...
    But i was trying to send report on SAP logon ID..then also it gave error
    With one user system gave the error: Error occurred sending to recipient Barin ROY (External Address)
    & with another user the error was :*Diagnosis
    To continue processing, the system requires a valid route from sender 12000007 to recipient BWP:300:11001240 (type RML).
    System Response
    The action was terminated.
    Error occurred in SAP in SAPconnect
    Procedure
    If this error was generated within the SAP system by SAPconnect, you have the following options:
    Create a route (i.e. assign a suitable address area, which covers the above address, to a node).
    1. Check whether the route exists, but the node to which it is assigned is not in operation. If this is the case, change the route or put the node into operation.
    2. Change the recipient address if it has been entered incorrectly.
    If the error was detected outside of the SAP system, please read the operator's manual for your communication software or contact the manufacturer.
    ID is absolutely correct. What route to be created??
