Hi!
How can i use a buttons, called a,b,c,d,e...z to jump to the first record which has a name start with a, b...or c. and so on..
Like in phone book..

Sorry for the delay in replying...
There may be a supremely clever SQL query trick for accomplishing this, but that's not my area of expertise. The most straightforward way of accomplishing this I can see is writing a custom event handler that:
(1) Receives a parameter identifying the letter to search for.
(2) Sets a "where" class on a custom VO to search for entries beginning with that character.
(3) Gets the Key of the first Row of that result.
(4) On your main VO, call scrollRangeTo()?
... but I'd also recommend asking in the main JDev forum
for a JBO experts' opinion of the write way to do this from Java code.
