A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

If you have had a "local guy "repair your iphone you will not get any support from Apple for warranty OR post warranty
If Verizon return it to Apple it wil not be handled by Apple
If Verizon also use unauthorised repairers you may be lucky
(Apple do not sell parts to local guys or anyone else )

I create a project w/iMovie and I have two problems: When I try to finalize the project iMovie crashes; when I share to DVD sometimes it crashes also; if I can successfully send it to DVD and then burn a DVD there are wavy lines on the screen. I'm uising photos in my project, not video. Help!
You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts. -

When I upgrading to Lion Mountain, now I see somes "Drops" in the images. They are dotted lines across the screen horizontally. I reformatted and reinstalled OS 10.8.2, but the problem persists. I went to service, thought it was a video card problem, but it was not.
I have this too! I just bought this iMac a few months back. These screen are having a lot of troubles from what I am reading. My horizontal lines are not that bad, but you can notice them.
I might sell these computer off quick as apparently the quality of these screens is a nightmare. -
I have noticed for the first time today (after I have been working on my iMac for a long time) that there are horizontal lines across the whole screen from the top to the bottom. First I thought they would only be on the picture of my desktop background, but then I opened iPhoto and saw the lines on every picture I opened. So those lines are there on the screen and and not only on the displayed image. Really annoying!!!

My iMac 27" screen is black and will not start. The computer is making noise and beeps when i use the keyboard but I can't see anything. I have rebooted with no success

Dropped my iPhone 4s and now there are lines across the screen?! Help!
Hey everyone!
So, I have recently dropped my iPhone 4S and now there are all these blue vertical lines across the screen, which occasionally change colour also.
I am still able to receive messages and calls, and siri still works, it's simply that I can't see a single thing I am doing- which is very difficult!
I was wondering if this is an issue that needs to be fixed at an Apple store- and if so, how much it would cost? Or if I would be able to fix it myself somehow.
N.B: I've tried to reset it, it doesn't work. I have also tried to restore the iPhone, but iTunes won't let me do this as I have to have the 'find my iPhone' app turned off, which I cannot do because I can't see anything I'm doing!

Yes. It's broken. A replacement will cost you $199.

The iPhone is not user servicable. Apple does not sell parts for the iPhone. any parts you could get are either stolen, counterfeit, or salvaged. Atempting to fix it yourself will render it unsupportable and forfeit your right to service from Apple, including an out of warranty replacement. -

I have had a 3GS for 2+ years. After upgrading to IOS 4 (now 4.3.5) I began having problems. In the past week, my screen went to the itunes logo and USB cable twice -- unprovoked -- just found it sitting there like that! I connected to itunes and it did restore from a backup but it is a major inconvenience. I am also searching for answers, but better back-up regularly!

Plz...give me your best advice so i can correct my problem thank much.You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money.. -
The music on my iPhone 4 is not working. There are red dots next to the selections and no sound occurs when they are touched.
Can you play those songs in iTunes on your computer?
Make sure they are all part of your iTunes library before you sync and that they were bought with the same AppleID you use on your phone. -
Had trouble receiving texts, I did an IOS update, it lost everything on my phone. I had it synced to the computer it synced to my sister's iphone data and now I cant unlock my phone or do anything. I am receiving texts from her contacts meant for her!

My 4th generation iPod touch is not allowing me turn both my WiFi ans Bluetooth on. I can't do anything that involves internet, not even downloading apps, which is decieving...
Sounds like this problem:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. I suspect that the drop damaged the iPod

I just had the same problem. And I found the solution, on Youtube.
The problem is that these ******** at apple designed the battery compartement, the distance between metal contacts too big.
That means the batteries plus or minus poles are not touching the corresponding contacts in the mouses battery compartement.
Most likely the battery doesn't get pushed up to touch the plus contacts.
I used a fingernail to push the battery up and tadaa, the green LED came on.
The guy in the Youtube video just put some folded aluminium foil under the minus poles for bridging the gap.

I have an iPhone 5 32GB that is less than a year old, I smashed the screen not long ago and had it replaced and now the backlight works but there is no image on the screen. Its fully working apart from the screen, can I get a replacement? Or how else would anyone suggest to fix the problem?
Make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple store or contact AppleCare. Some Apple Stores in the US can replace the display in an iPhone 5 for $149. If it requires more than that, a replacement phone will cost you $229.
