    Hi
I am using iPhone 4s.ATT confirmed my iPhone is unlocked. I am in india now and I am using a sim card provide by a service provider in india.
    I followed the following steps.
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC and verify that you have internet connectivity.
Connect your iPhone using the dock connector to USB cable that came with your iPhone.
    Backup your iPhone.
Erase the contents of your iPhone
    Restore your backup.
Swap the old SIM card with one for the new carrier.
    Complete the Setup Assistant.
I am getting the following message
The Sim Card that you currently have installed in this iphone is from carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with iphone Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier od request from this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact apple for more information.
Can some one please help with me on this.

You are attempting to use the iPhone on a wireless provider that is not
supported. You will have to work with them to resolve any issues or
switch to a supported wireless provider. Which wireless provider are
    you attempting to use?

  • Change of Service Provider

I am using iPhone 3G with services provided by Vodafone in Bangalore, India. The services are pathetic and the offers to iPhone users are almost NIL. They are happy that, we are stuck with them for Life because no other SP can be chosen by us and so, neglecting us even after charging premium rates for a simple EDGE connectivity.
I want to know, after Number portability comes into force in India, can I at-least switch to Airtel who is the other iPhone Service provider in India or getting my phone unlocked will be the final option?
    Message was edited by: ajaysimha

Carrier locked phones can only be unlocked by the carrier they are locked to. In your case, that would be Vodafone. The only way you could use your phone on Airtel's network is if Vodafone offers unlocking. So, contact them & ask.

  • Architectural/design documentation required for Self Service Expenses application

I'm looking for architectural/design documentation on the Oracle Applications Self Service Expense Reporting application.
Specifically I'd like to know how it was designed & architected, what technologies were used to develop it (e.g. CABO, B24J, Oracle Workflow, AQ etc.) and how these technologies interact to form the final system.
We have a product called the Oracle Migration Workbench. It is a standalone java-based application that facilitates the migration of non-Oracle databases over to Oracle9i. We're investigating the possibility of developing a web-based migration capability. Of course we appreciate that moving from a tool-based, single user solution to a web based, multi user solution is not a trivial task.
Seeing that you guys would have already tackled many of the challenges we face I'd appreciate it if you can provide me with any pertinent information.
Any white papers/architectural collateral you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance
    - Garry

Hi Did you ever get this documentation? I would really appreciate some more info on this to [email protected]

  • Best practice MPLS design/configuration for small service provider

We are a small regional service provider and did not have MPLS supported on our network.  To start supporting MPLS, I’d like to get opinions and recommendations on the best practice configuration.
Here is what we have today –
We have our own BGP AS and multiple /24s.
We are running OSPF on the Cores and BGP on the Edge routers peering with ISPs.
We peer with multiple tier-1 ISPs for internet traffic. We do not provide public transit.
What we want for phase one MPLS implementation –
    Configure basic MPLS /vpn functionality.
No QoS optimization required for phase 1.
We have Cisco ME 3600X for  PE. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Not sure what kind of devices or routers you have in your network but looks for if you have support for labeled multicast for MVPN support. That will avoid other complexity of using other control protocols (like PIM) in core.
PE redundancy can be obtained by BGP attributes, CE-PE connectivity can be tunned using IGP or VRRP/HSRP...
You can have mutiple RSVP TEs for various contract traffic and you can bind various kind of traffic to different RSVP Tunnels based on contract or service with your customer.
RSVP-TE with link/node protection design will be of great help to achieve quicker failover.

  • Global Architectural design for SharePoint 2013??

    Hi Friends,
i am trying to pursue SharePoint 2013 global Architectural design before we implement SharePoint 2013 farm. FYI, Our Current SharePoint 2010 farm is three tier farm (2 web servers + 2 App servers + cluster Sql server) and total users 1,000 and its
located in one data center. From this farm we are serving now SP site to five different countries in the world via WAN. But as our company growing rapidly, we want share point will provide robust performance. As our company globalized, how many data center
we will need? Can we have one centralized farm in USA and other regional SharePoint farms into different countries? According to my business scenario, what will be the best architectural design?
    Any help will be appreciated!!

"It depends" would be the answer with the information given. It depends on how much content is accessed at any one location, if a WAN accelerator could alleviate any issues end users at the remote locations were seeing, and if the company can take on the
added complexity, extra licensing, and hardware cost that are associated with SharePoint farms.
It would also depend if you want to replicate content (e.g. Metalogix Replicator) or if each farm will have its own unique content targeted at the specific region.

I assume you are implying "biztax" application here, right?
I have contacted their program lead, with no result at all.
Past days I have been searching for a solution - reinstalls / new systems - no solution.
This issue appeared a week or two ago only.
I found http://forums.adobe.com/message/5338853 useful - but no positive results either.
    http://test.eid.belgium.be/faq/faq_nl.htm obviously didnt help either.
If anyone finds a solution to this issue, please do let me know - any help is appreciated.
Biztax tells to use the "signature", not the "authentication"  - but it is only Auth. that is showing up as option to sign (that works)
ps, did you fiddle with the Adobe Reader XI security settings and import that PKI etc as well? I hoped that would be the breaktrough. Sadly i'm still crying in my chair.
Oh, and dont forget: they claim nobody else got this issue. Maybe one or two people. (We got about 8 customers experiencing exactly the same symptoms at the same time )
    >  I noticed that when I try to open the pdf  document that is 'signed' by the government it is not showing the filename in the title bar, but only " - Adobe Reader".    every piece of info helps I guess.
Obviously last version of Reader   11.0.03

  • SAML2 Service Provider not writing artifact key to cache

I have been following http://biemond.blogspot.com/2009/09/sso-with-weblogic-1031-and-saml2.html to attempt to get Single Sign On working.
I created 2 new WebLogic 10.3.3 domains using an RDBMS Security Store (They are both pointing to the same RDBMS Security Store). I went through the guide, and after some time and troubleshooting was able to complete all the steps. I then created a very very basic JSF2 application that basically has a secured blank page. I set up this URL in the Service Provider configuration so that when I attempt to browse to the url http://localhost:7002/saml-test/ (7002 is the port I assigned the second server, it is not ssl) it does successfully attempt to redirect to the Identity Provider for authentication. However; when it redirects I get a 403 Forbidden Error.
Based on the logs it appears that the Service Provider is writing the artifact key to "the cache" (logs aren't specific, but I'm assuming DemoIdentity.jks?). But when the Identity Provider attempts to retrieve the key from the cache it finds nothing and returns null, causing an exception. I also attempted to view the DemoIdentity.jks contents by using:
keytool -list -keystore DemoIdentity.jks -storepass DemoIdentityKeyStorePassPhrase
And the key specified in the logs is not there. I also looked at all the data in the RDBMS database and could not find the key there. I'm assuming I am just missing some basic understanding of what is going on here, but I've been pulling my hair out with this thing for a week, and have had no luck figuring it out.
Below are the logs: (Note: I removed some of the leading debug info like time and date to save space)

    Hi user13435437,
The key=AAQAAApriktiqPxDEvWbV4yOYVVARn3nNdPnLeD3F4z6gSCUJyQg8b2cZZI= is the SAMLArtifact id, it has nothing to do with any of the public/private keys of the managed servers.
My scenario is a little bit different: Weblogic working as SP and ADFS2 as IdP. What I would recommend you s to use the HTTP-POST & HTTP-REDIRECT binding instead of the Artifact one.
But if you want to remain with this binding maybe you should check the "Authentication Request Cache Timeout" attribute.
    Hope it helps,
    Luis

  • Dual cloud dual hub single tier dmvpn with backup service provider

    Hi,
I have a design issue with a WAN network. I have decided to use dual cloud dual hub single tier DMVPN topology (ref. to http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/netsol/ns171/c649/ccmigration_09186a008075ea98.pdf - "Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) Design Guide"). I have tested in lab 2 hubs and 3 spokes, applying the mentioned technology. Everything is OK, when the primary hub fails, there is only 1-3 seconds loss (3 pings).
The problem is that each spoke and hub will have 2 service providers for WAN - primary and backup. I am still wondering which design is better and more stable to implement - using more DMVPN clouds (for the backup service provider network) or creating static IPSEC GRE tunnels in the backup links?
Is there a guide for this case?
What is the best practice in this case?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mladen

Dynamic spoke-to-spoke requires your spoke routers to have mGRE tunnel interfaces. If you ever have a spoke which sources 2 tunnels from the same physical interface, you have a problem: how to resolve which tunnel is an incoming NHRP request for?
My DMVPN is a bit different in that the crypto is GETVPN on the physical interface. There is a crypto-map applied to the physical interface and it has 2 entries which correspond to the GETVPN crypto-groups for each tunnel.
I resolved this issue by making one of the 2 tunnels on each spoke router mGRE and the 2nd one point to point. the mGRE tunnel is preferred as primary (we use eBGP through the tunnel, so routes received through the mGRE tunnel are local-pref'd high and we AS path prepend routes advertised out the point-to-point tunnel)
I haven't gone back and tested what happens when you have a spoke which has 2 tunnels sourced from the same interface and another spoke with 2 tunnels sourced from the same interface or from 2 different physical interfaces. The concern is that you may get a situation where one router uses Tunnel 2 for dynamic spoke-to-spoke tunneling, and the other uses Tunnel1, and that the dynamic tunnel setup fails because the crypto map cannot properly decide which crypto group to use for the incoming traffic on the router where 2 tunnels use the same physical interface.

  • Service Provider - Stack of instance - SCASE

I need to Switch to display mode when a Business Object is opened using the access sequence which is described below, cause standard behavior opens the case in modification mode. (Trx. SCASE)
For achieving the problem, i was given the following solution,
but still need more detail information, about the solution given.
To change the record or case from change to display when calling a business object you have to examine the service provider for business objects. You will find him in the registry of the service provider framework. Within the Classes which are defined there you have to look for the method which executes a function on the business object. Within this function you have to do three things: a) execute the “where used list” for the specific business object linkage and find records or cases b) look for the record or case instance in the stack of instance of the just running service provider framework c) Execute the method “toggle display” for the instance of the case you found. This is a little tricky and should be an exercise for an advanced ABAP OO programmer.

Before you go into the java side of the equation, you should define the WSDL and the schema, that describes the payload you have, unless you have some freedoom on the exact shape you can expect your final message will have.
At fist glance, this message look like a 'bare' style, which will not give you the best interop results.
If the content of 'somethingElse' is not define, you can use xsd:anyType. If you want it to be extensible, the way to do this with XML schema is to end the sequence with a wildcard (xsd:any).
Once you have the WSDL, you can use the top-down design pattern to develop the implementation in Java.
    Hope this helps,
    Eric

  • Ip ngn service provider

    Hi,
I am the ceo of a start up wisp and i am also the business developer.Plan to offer converged services such as voice, data, vpn, video conferencing and some others using wimax technology.I am much interested in the ip ngn and mpls and plan to develop the services provider part of the network based on that technology.
    My question is:
I would like to know how my compnay can do a partership with cisco for the desing ,implementation ,maintencace of a ip ngn and what sort of trainning my company could expect for that purpose.
    Thanks
    Kind regards,
    Alvaro Eli

Generally when you engage Cisco AS they would collect the requirements,
confirm and signoff on the same as the CRD.
Then come up with a complete design and implementation technology
specifics, for your network, upon acceptance of the design, there
would be a transfer of information to your OPS team.
And for maintenance you can engage AS for their FTS NOS services,
where they can help, guide your operations in a proactive way.
Then may be if you have purchased the training for certain technologies,
it may be bundled or if the local cisco Account person likes you
(or rather the size of your startup), may bundle it for free :-)
To do what you want to do, you may just need to give a call to your regional Cisco sales office and they would do the necessary vetting of the prospect and then take the things forward.
Harold may like to add something more as well.
    HTH-Cheers,
    Swaroop
