A video will not sync with my Iphone. Help!

See title. Using a Iphone 4S, video in question is Fairy Tail Season One Episode 12

I have had this problem myself... I have found, turning computer off and connecting iphone to computer an then restarting computer will allow itunes on computer to see the iphone and sync.

If manually managing the content, can you "drag and drop" the media onto the device?

I have a bunch of songs on my ipod that I have from my previous computer and they will not sync with Itunes on my new computer. I have authorized the computer, I have also selected the "transfer purchases from ipod" option, I have spent the last day reading through FAQs but have found no solution. How do I fix the problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

The transfer purchases option only works with music purchased from iTunes and you don't say if this is the case.
Here's some other option for Windows users.
First, try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Enable your iPod for disk use.
See: iPod Disk Use.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.

.mov and .mpeg4 videos will not sync with iphone4

I have tried getting some modest sized (<1GB) videos on to my iPhone4 using iTunes 9. I have tried both .mov and .mpeg4 formats which are supported in the tech specs. Using both sync, and manual management modes, I get the error:"MOVIE X was not copied to this iphone because it can not be played on this iphone."

The movies were recorded on a Kodak ZI8. On a whim I tried WVGA, HD720P (30), and 1080P (30). An 8 second WVGA was able to be transferred. The 780P and 1080P formats would not copy. The other projects I tried to copy over were compilations primarily WVGA, that although they showed up as .mov, I am guessing they carried along some artifacts of other formats (stills?).
The 720P should be supported although I can't honestly validate the "Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz" requirement. Greek to me.
I am a bit surprised that the state of the art Iphone is unable to handle videos that are easily uploaded to facebook. c-est la vie.

ITunes will NOT sync with my iPhone 3G

I've performed a CLEAN Restore on my iPhone and I did not restore data.
I've installed my 86 applications and used a few of them. I've decided that I want a "backup" incase i need to restore my iPhone and I don't want to lose my text messages.
So I plug my iPhone into my MacBook USB port using the Apple supplied USB cable. iTunes detects my iPhone and I click SYNC.
iTunes indicates that it's syncing but after waiting 48 hours, iTunes cancels the Sync and tells me that there was a problem with 100 items. At this point, I realize that iTunes for some reason forgot that my machine is already authorized to play the iTunes content so I have to deauthorize it then reauthorize it.
Then I perform another Sync and this time iTunes skips backing up and says "Syncing with <name of phone>..." and it doesn't do anything.
I restart the MacBook and the iPhone 3G and try again but same message.
I look into the preference pane and then view the backup list and I don't see ANYTHING that is even close to 8/26/2008. I find my other iPhones on the list but not the one in question.
What can I do to back it up?

My computer has worked fine since I bought it. Now it will not sync with my iphone for some reason and gives me an error message saying 42404 is missing in itunes

My computer has worked well since I bought it new. All of a sudden it will not recognize my i-phone to snyc. I receive an error message saying that -42404 is missing from i tunes and it then crashes....help please

It's also possible that newer iPhone updates want an OS higher than Tiger. Post the specs of your computer and we can see if an OS upgrade is possible. There are a large number of G4 variants with different capabilities, so giving us something more than just "G4" will get you help faster.

IPhoto will not sync with my iPhone

I did the new update for my Mac yesterday and one of the update was for iPhoto but now when I open iphoto it will not find my iPhone. Not sure what to do to fix that. I do have iTunes open and iTunes does see my iPhone so I know it has nothing to do with my computer not finding my iPhone.

I had the same problem. I refreshed my iPhone (held down the power button and the home button until the apple logo appeared, should take about 5-10 sec). Now everything works like an apple . Hope it works for you.

I have downloaded Navfree GPS from the app store. It says that it is over 20mb so download via desktop computer. That has happened but it will not sync with the iphone but sits saying 'loading'. What can be done about this please?

Make sure that your Mac is subscribed to iCloud and is logged on to the calendar, there is no 'sync' in iCloud, whatever MM did is irrelevant.

Photos from Win XP will not Sync with 3G iphone what am I doing wrong

Need some help, just got the iphone and the only thing I can't understand is how to transfer my photos from my PC to the phone. I understand I use Itunes and point it to the folder/photo I want to sync. Itunes goes through it optimizing 1 of 29 photos (only doing 29 photos to start) but then when I go to the phone I have the normal Camera Roll Album and one folder listed. In the folder listed is only one photo which is all messed up.
I understand the phone takes photos and displays photos at one res, and I thought Itunes doesn't care what res the photo from the PC is cause it optimizes it to be viewed on the phone.
What am I missing ? and what is this folder that keeps being built ipod photo cache. Any help would be wonderful and yes I did read the "Iphone User Guide" that came with the phone.

Not sure what the issue is that you are having. Sounds like you are doing the right thing.
You point iTunes to a folder that contains pictures (or more subfolders that contain pictues...1 subfolder deep). Then tell it to sync. iTunes does its "optimize" thing. Then they sync over. Each subfolder in that folder you pointed to becomes a library.
eg:
C:\PHOTOS you point it to.
C:\PHOTOS\FAMILY
C:\PHOTOS\WORK
C:\PHOTOS\FRIENDS
C:\PHOTOS\WALLPAPER
C:\PHOTOS\MISC
are all under it.
Each of those becomes a library on the iPHone (Family, Work, friends, etc)
Photos from those folders go to phone (and photos from the root you pointed it to).
The extra folder it makes (think it tries to mark it hidden unless you have it set to show hidden files) is just stuff for iTunes to keep track (like HASH data and other stuff) to know what it has synced so it can tell what is new and what is old if you add more photos or folders later.
I have some huge images on my PC that I sync over without issue. iTunes scales them down when syncing to the phone (the whole optimize stuff).

I'm trying to sync my iPhone 4s with iTunes but keep being told that I have to install a later version of iTunes. I've done this several times installing 10.6.3 through www.itunes.com as well as through iTunes - Check for Updates but have had no luck. What do I do?

I believe so for your mac, or it may have to be a disk, but click on the apple logo, if it says your up to date then it will be a disk you have to order by online or call apple and order it. Also itunes you just need to go to apple.com/itunes after you have upgraded your mac and download the 10.7 version of itunes.

Imac 10.6.8 will not sync with my iphone 4s 6.0.1.

I have iMac 10.6.8 and this is the only update I can get apparently. I have an iPhone 4s 6.0.1. I can't get iCloud because I can't update to 10.7 on my iMac. Only some items sync and others get duplicated.
Am i screwed or can I fix this? I rely heavily on this feature.

Muic will not sync with new iphone

Hi, I've just got the new iphone & every new iphone i've had for the last 5 years when i go to restore from backup it never syncs my music. In the past ive just acepted this and got on with it but i'm sick of it now!!

Some of the albums in the Beatles package I downloaded from itunes will not sync with my iPhone 5. Some songs won't play. They did sync to my iPad and they all play on my iPad. What can I do? I've already deleted all songs from the iPhone and re-synced.

I downloaded the entire Beatles collection from iTunes in 2011. Some songs skip and won't play. Some albums won't sync to the phone but they sync to my iPad. I've deleted the entire music library from my iPhone, shut the phone down, turned the phone on and synced again to add the music but now 2 albums won't even sync (Rubber Soul and Revolver). I've tried dragging the songs to the iPhone, no luck. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you may need to re-download the entire albums from iTunes. See this KB article for how to download past purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.
I'd suggest doing it one album at a time. Delete one, download it from your purchase histor, then the next, etc.
