A way of wiping the iPod on my iPhone so I can start again from scratch?

I would like to take advantage of this free time over Easter to spring clean my iPod library on my iPhone - completely clear it out and start again from scratch. Is there any way I can just clear it all off without labouring through hours of control-clicking?

If the music was transferred via the iTunes sync process, deselect Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by selecting Apply. The same under the Podcasts, Movies, and TV Shows tabs.
If you are manually managing music and videos, try deselecting manually manage music and videos under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by selecting Apply.

I had this problem but when downgrading from FF4 to FF3.6. I was able to recover everything, so maybe the solution is the same.

And if there isn't well...sorry =/. You might want to save these files elsewhere too just in case before renaming them so they can be replaced.

Since you can't switch it off.
Put it in a dry place for a week (a rice box is a good idea) and try to use a hair air-blower (warm but not hot) to dry it.

Not sure what you mean about being unable to see the website when you activated Dreamweaver, but the simple way to start the tutorial from scratch is to delete the files. Then replace them with a fresh set from the download zip file.
You can delete the files in the Dreamweaver Files panel. Alternatively, use the Windows File Explorer or the Mac Finder.
If you want to delete the site definition in Dreamweaver, select Site > Manage Sites. Select the site in the list that appears, and click the minus button at the bottom left to delete the site from Dreamweaver. Note, however, that deleting the site definition does NOT delete the files or folder that you created. It simply removes the site definition from Dreamweaver.

Okay so I barely use the calling/phone app (the one that comes on it) on my iPhone but most of the calls I get are from random people who I do not know who have the wrong number asking for the same people! I block them all I can but they're not always the same number there's different numbers all the time it's extremely annoying and driving me crazy, the one person left a voice mail again asking for the same person so I called them back and they denied they ever called I kept telling them I got a voicemail from that number and they kept saying no one called from that number. I literally cannot take this anymore. I remember seeing somewhere when I was setting up my phone where I can set it so people cannot call you if they're not in your contacts list. Your friend may have placed the ipod next to an object that repeatedly pressed the screen. Under certain circumstances this can lead to what appears to the iTouch to be failed attempts to access the system. After repeated failed attempts, the Touch increases the waiting time required for the password and may ultimately lock in the way you describe.

A way to normalize volume in the iPod app on iPhone?

I have a set of favorite songs in a playlist in iTunes on my PC, and in my iPod Classic. As either one is used to play the playlist, the volume of each song is reasonable in relation to the others. It doesn't surprise me, since I've been told that iTunes "normalizes" volume levels of music files as they are added to iTunes. Not sure if it adds playback information to the file in a form similar to the data tags on mp3 files or what.
Anyway, here's the problem. I synched my iPhone 3GS to iTunes so I can play this one playlist via the iPod app in iPhone. But there's one musician whose songs come out sounding twice as loud, and distorted. They don't do that in iTunes or in the iPod Classic. I poked around on the iPod app for some settings without any luck. Suggestions? I can take the original music files and create lower-volume versions, but that seems like kind of a clumsy approach.

Why are lyrics not viewable in itunes in the same way as on the ipod? In itunes all you get is "Get Info" then "Lyrics" and that screen then locks itunes until you close it. Inflexible, annoying and surely unnecessary?

All songs need Album, Artist and title.
Also, look under Artist -> Compilations.

There is no legal way to do this- You would need to be using the same AppleID (account)
As far as deleting the songs, in a situation like this, you should restore the iPod which will delete the songs as well as allow you to sync your own music.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.
