ABAP client proxy to File scenario

Hi,
I am doing ABAP client proxy to File scenario.
I have followed Ravikumar allampallam blog i.e https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1387. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
My abap proxy has successfully created 4 objects:
1)ABAP Class ( ZCO_ MIOA_ABAP_PROXY).
2. Structure for the message type in ABAP Data Dictionary (ZMT_PROXY).
3. Structure for the data type in ABAP Data Dictionary (ZDT_PROXY_SRC).
4) Table type (ZSTRING_TAB).
can u tell me how can i fetch data from database table into structure?

Hi,
see first create the data type, msg type, msg interface and go to R3 instance of Xi and use SPROXY transaction , locate your SWCV,namespace, intreface ( outbound) and create the proxy , later give the name starts with z, later in ABAP program create the internal table of type of the Structure for the message type in ABAP Data Dictionary (ZBLOGEMP_PROFILE_MSG )
so follow the code and explained about each ob, structure of Msg ..

  • Client Proxy to File Scenario

    Hi,
I am having a Client proxy to File Scenario. Here I am getting data from Z table and sending it to 3rd part system in FILE format.
The proxy code is scheduled to run 5 times a day in BACKGROUND mode, I see that some of the jobs gets failed necause of Error in proxy call, it raises exception  CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT.
This exception comes only at sometimes, when I then go manually and run the program, it results in success.
    Please advice.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Navneeth K.

    Hi Navneeth,
Can you please provide the complete error message / exception.

  • Async Client proxy -PI - File scenario- Pipeline steps missing in SXMB_MONI

    Hi
I made a scenario where an ABAP client proxy(in a BW system) pulls data from a BW table and push it to PI.
In PI a Mapping is done to write an XML file and sump it to a desired location.
It is working fine in the development environment(request send to PI and mapped into an xml file)..so i migrated it to the quality/test environment where it started failing(It is only visible till SXMB_MONI of Client system and not reaching PI in case of quality/test environment).
I checked SLDCHECK in the Client environments (say DWC for development and DWA for quality) and it looks fine.
    All I could see is:
In SXMB_MONI of development system DWC--> Steps that are followed are
    Inbound Message
    Call Integration Server
    Response
In SXMB_MONI of quality/test system DWA-->The only step is
    Inbound Message
Could this be an Integration Server issue ??
    Please advise !!
    Regards,
    Naina

check and compare the the parameter are set in SXMB_ADM of Dev system with Quality system.
u can refer this blog for steps.

  • ABAP Client Proxy to File (File is not getting generated)

    Hi All,
I'm trying out a scenario ABAP proxy --> XI  --> FILE.
I have followed the given blog to create ABAP client proxy.
    /people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy
While executing the ABAP client proxy, the values are properly sent to XI and in the SXMB_MONI the message shows as successful. But the correspoding file is not created.
It seems everything is fine in the receiver adpater(Monitoring) and in the SXMB_MONI also the msg shows successful(receiver side).
The directory path and the corresping file creation parameters also looks fine.
Couldn't figure out what went wrong. Please help me on this.
    Thanks,
    Ajay.

  • Abap client proxy to xi - no data found

    Hi experts
I m working on abap client  proxy to file scenario where in I m sending data from R/3 system to legacy system via xi , but after doing all the configurations and running the abap program for triggering client proxy , i dont find any data on the receiver side ,
I have activated client proxy as per Vijay Kumaris Blog
I checked sxmb_moni on the R/3 system but shows no data selected , so no question of data being found on xi server ,
i m really sutcked up ....dont know hwat to do , pl help

    Hi,
Have u used commit work at the end of the code.
Can you please tell me what all configuration u have done.
U have referred the ABAP Proxy configuration:

  • Proxy to File scenario - IDOC as an flat file

    Hi,
I am working on ABAP Sender Proxy to File scenario. The target structure in the message mapping is SHPMNT05 IDOC and the output of the file needs to be in the text format and then the file will be send to an EDI subsystem.
Currently, EDI subsystem gets the IDOC from ERP system as a flat file and expects the similar kind of file from XI system
The requirement is to have all the fields of the IDOC in the target file. If data does not exist for a particular field, then there should be a space for that field in the text file.
I would like to know if there is any other standard way of executing this scenario apart from using File Content conversion. In case if we have to use FCC, how difficult it would to be implementing the scenario. Please note that the output file needs  all the fields of IDOC in it.
    Regards,
    Sakthi
Edited by: Sakthi on Sep 26, 2008 11:24 AM

    Hello Sakthi,
By coding in proxy populate the idoc structure if it is difficult to handle thru Content conversion parameters then create an intermediate structure and populate that structure by concatenating the fields from idoc segments. If the fields are not having the values then add blank spaces as per length of the field.
You can configure the file channel and content converison parameters for the intermediate structure.
Hope it will helps to you.
    Cheers
    Veera

  • ABAP client Proxy authentication required

Hallo, my problem is about ABAP client Proxy authentication.
    Scenario:
Our Dev. BW MWDCLNT600 queries “forward” a (RetailPro) database (JDBC Receiver C.Channel), by Dev. XI , in order to "drive" data extraction (realized, backward, from RetailPro to BW).
Forward communication from BW uses a call on ABAP Client Proxy technology (I mean, a BW class implements an XI outbound Message Interface).
    Problem:
Something changed, we don't know what or where, and since last week everytime you execute the report (F8) you are prompted for an authentication popup.
Official manual guide is: (ABAP Proxy Generation)
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ba/f21a403233dd5fe10000000a155106/frameset.htm
in which you have to manage the 2 properties for credential supplying:
    com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceuser.name
    com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceuser.pwd
in order to "drive" authentication to Integration Engine.
In our scenario, ABAP report ZRTP_FLOW_CONTROL drives data extraction query, by a call to execute method
    of class: ZCO_MI_FLOW_CONTROL_OB
which implements Outbound MI: MI_Flow_Control_OB (...all in SPROXY).
In SXMB_ADM, XI IEngine URL is correct...
In Exchange Profile, the 2 properties (see above) are correctly maintained (user: XIAPPLUSER, and password is OK)
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks all in advance!
    Gianluca

    Hi
I would like to suggest you to change the password in http destination (sm59) configured to comunicate with XI and put another one using UPPER case only. Another thing to check is tx SLDAPICUST. There is a problem in this transaction (I think it is a problem, maybe it's a feature , you need to use password with UPPER there to, and you need to double save the data there (change something, click save, change another thing, click save, and will work, otherwise not). Check tx SLDCHECK to see if connection with SLD and Integration Directory are ok.
    Regards.
    Roberti

  • Error in Proxy to File scenario

    Hello All,
I m doing Client Proxy,  ABAP proxy to file scenario.
I hv done all the configurations in IR & ID.
I hv also created proxy in sender R3 system.
But messages are not going successfully from R3.
when i checkin SXMB_MONI of R3 i get following error
<SAP:Stack>Error when receiving by HTTP (error code: 110, error text: )</SAP:Stack>
Message is in SYSFAIL status in SMQ2.
Any clues how it can be solved??
    Thanks in adv.
    Mahi

    Hi Maheshwari,
    Please try as mentioned below
Option 1: Go to SXMB_ADM->Manage Queues and Deregister all the Queues.Use transaction SMQR or SMQ2 to reset the status of queues
For this to initiate processing of messages stuck in the queue, make sure to set following IS configuration parameter
    MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED to value 1
Option 2: Check the user associated with the RFC destination AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER in sm59 transaction. It is generally SAPJSF. Might be posisble the user password is expired or locked. Log on to j2ee admin tool on the server side and update the password and then see if it works.
    Thanks

  • Fault message handling in abap client proxy

    Hi experts,
i have scenario like this SAPECC---XI---WEBservice
i was decided to using the ABAP CLIENT proxy in sender side and soap adapter communication in receiver side
i will be get the wsdl file form client
problem is i am in bit of confusion like  am i need to create fault message for this asychronous scenario?
how can i create the fault message for this scenario(that WSDL) and how the abaperwill  handle those error
    thanks in advance

    Hi.
You can use fault message but it won´t return a error to your ABAP Proxy because your interface is ASSYNC. The fault message generated will stop in Adapter Engine.
If you need a return of the error, you have to change your interface to Sync mode.

  • How ABAP Client Proxy works

    Hello,
    I have one scenario
File Sender Adapter sends file to IDOC Adapter for posting of measurement documents. After posting I need to send back status (success/failure) of measurement documents back to SAP XI.
    How can it be done.
Can it be done through ABAP Client Proxy (but how we can trigger report for Abap Proxy for this) . Is there any other solution for it.
    regards

    Hi Henry
<b>client’ proxy</b> is used by an application to send messages outside of the system it resides in (normally to the IS in this context).
Client Proxies talks about the implementation of Client Proxy (For the Outbound Interface created during Design time). It also discusses the sending out of Data using Proxies

  • ABAP Client Proxy Testing process

In case of the Abap server proxy by using this report program SPRX_TEST_INBOUND we can test by providing the Generated interface name and method name.
same like any Testing process is there for ABAP Client Proxy
    please respond me.
IF possible provide some Mail Path for ABAP Client ans Server Proxy so i can refer.
I get a one good scenario in  www.****************

    Hi,
For ABAP cllent proxy you need to develope your own ABAP code.
Please fidn here with the below link. Here you will get the testing ABAP code also

  • Proxy to file scenario

    Hi SDN,
I have  a query regarding a Proxy to File scenario. Whenever the ABAP proxy populates the structure an d sends the data accross to XI  to genarate a file structure, then how does it confirms that the structure is sent to SAP.XI or to somewhere else? How is the confirmation done? and where is it done at Sender side or at the XI side?
    Thanks,
    Aniruddha

    Hi,
    >>>How is the confirmation done?
if you do not set ack request it does not do any confirmation - you only see the successful flag in ECC and in PI
    nothing more

  • ABAP Client Proxy to SOAP

    Hi all,
I am working on ABAP client proxy to SOAP Asynchronous scenario.  when iam sending the data from r/3 system data sent to webservice.
but PI sending this same data  3 more to the third parth system.  when i checked in runtime workbench it is showing number of retrys 3
how to resolve this issue.  please explain in detail
    Thanks
    Anil

    Anil,
That's the default setting for Async SOAP communication...this can occur if the receiver is overloaded and cannot take any more feed and sometimes time out in the middle of the hand off...this would lead to re-try in PI...so you would see 3 entries of same data...refresh or clear the data from the receiver could solve the issue...
    Thanks,
    Srini
