Access servers using FTP programs like Cyberduck, Coda, etc

Hi there, I posted this question elsewhere, but I'm not sure whether it was the right spot so I thought I'd start a new discussion.
I'm having issues with accessing the server's that my two websites are on.
I've been using Cyberduck for FTP'ing for a while now but this week I bought a new laptop with Mountain Lion on it. One of my websites I use iWeb and the other is through Wordpress, both of which I can access the server (and transfer files) using Cyberduck.
The first time I updated my site it worked. The next day however it didn't - and hasn't since. Now I can't access the server at all. The messages I get, depending on the program, are usually variations on "server not responding" "connection timeout" "connection refused" "connection closed" and on and on it goes.
I have tried using Cyberduck, Coda, Folklift and Transmitter but to no avail.
I tried a little App called 'ftpd-enable' but nothing.
I've tried all the different commands - like the one for Terminal above - nothing.
Rebooted the computer - nothing.
Double checked all the server login details - nothing.
Shouted and screamed - high blood pressure.
I hope someone may be able to help me!

I've been in contact with the server administrator and everything works from his end - all the login details appear to be correct and he can easily access the server.
I've tried deleting the bookmarks and opening a brand new connection but no change.
Perhaps I should clarify: After stuffing around a bit more, it seems I can sort-of access the server. I seem to be able to login but once I do what happens is if I try to upload or download a file, it goes through the following process:
Opening FTP
Authenticating as 'my username'
FTP connection opened
Gaining permission of 'file name'
Listing directory
Disconnecting
Then I get the message: Network Error: Download failed. Connection refused. And that's it!
I notice also that if I create a new folder, it eventually creates the folder but then the folder has a red minus sign on it - like a no access graphic.
By the way, Firewall is off.

There are some issues with the upload to ftp via Muse, which the engineering team is aware of and those will be fixed in a future build of Muse. At this point the work around would be to export the html from Muse and then upload via some third party ftp client like filezilla.

Water + electronics do not mix. Something was damaged insode, and the logic board may be corroding as is.
Take it to a Genius Bar for an evaluation and repair estimate.
This is accidental damage and not covered by warranty.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

Does using a program like fan control damage my mbp?

I heard good things about this program so I downloaded it and it cools off the machine wonderfully. However, I was wondering if it caused damage to the machine as the fans are running at about 3 times what they ran before? Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

I would hazard a guess that if it did have anything to do with the failure of the hardware in any way, the manufacturer would void your warranty. Any repair needed would be chargeable.
Mac OS X, Boot Camp and the EFI firmware all have system settings created by the manufacturer. Using a program which alters their recommended settings or changes the behaviour of hardware devices within the machine, goes against the terms of the warranty.
I would ask Apple about Fan Control and get them to confirm that any damage which may be caused (or may not be caused) by a third party program willl not void your warranty.
In some respects, it's like overclocking a PC. Whilst it may be more beneficial to the system and provide better performance, the maufacturer of the computer can not be expected to repair something which has been damaged by the end user 'tweaking' settings to get better performance.
In the case of Fan Control, I have not used it so can not refer to the licence terms, the liability of possible damage done to the machine by using this program will either be at the end users own responsibility or the manufacturer of the software. This should be checked prior to installing and using the program.
I would suggest any program which alters the running of the machine will invalidate your warranty in the event of hardware failure.

Access table using ABAP program in other database

Dear SAP Expert,
We have requirement that related to SAP interface.
Our SAP system run on Oracle database 11g (Unix).
Illustration: SAP system = A non SAP system = B
We need to access a table using ABAP program (from SAP system A) in other database (system B) that are not necessarily SAP database. The non-SAP system using SQL Server 2008 (Windows).
What is the best practice for this interface
Do we need database link? If yes, please help to inform me the details step to configure it.

Hi Friend,
You try using an intermediate system..passing your input required to fetch the data..and PI should call the respective query to retrive record..once the full flow is completed you should get the return through some table in the calling program.
else.
ask the other system guy to write a function with select query and ask him to expose as RFC and that RFC we have to call it as RFC in our program to get the required values and only thing we need here is a proper connector in place.

Cant access help in FTP program

I have installed FTP client Commander Pro, cant access their help for this program, because it was created in Windows help format which depends on a feature that is not included in Windows 8.1 pro. so I am unable to move the FTP client
into my cPanel ftp accounts, can anyone point me in the right direction,please, regards frank

I can't download any external programs like Skype,firefox etc.I had skype installed before but it somehow disappeared .Mine is a macbook pro 2011.Any suggestions?Thanks

I can't download any external programs.It used to work fine before.I had downloaded skype few months ago and then it suddenly dissapeared.When i tried to download firefox,chrome,skype etc it downloads as .dmg extension.I drag it to applications folder.Nothing happens after that,can see the download but w/o the logo of skype etc.I followed one suggestion..went to library>preferences>deleted the .psp lock file>emptied trash>downloaded skype again but still the same.
Could it be security issue?Mine is a pre owned mac bought 3 months ago.I have now registered the serial no and apple id and transferred to my name.

A .dmg file is a disk image file. If you double-click it, it will mount and look like a hard drive is attached.
Once you've mounted the disk image, you should see either an application that you drag to your Applications folder or an installation app. Just follow the instructions and the app you've downloaded will be installed.

Why set up table not used in applications like FI, HR etc

Hi,
We all know that we use set up tables for LO Cockpit applications.
But we dont have for non LO applications like HR , FI...why such a difference is made by SAP...
One of the fellow suggested that for FI, HR etc, there is huge posting of data and so we dont want to store such a duplicate data
is this the case?
or there is some other reason...
please suggest the same

Explain: My client requirement is " If he/she runs a ABAP Program, that will create a table and upload data into MS ACCESS Database table in background. "
Could you please give the solution or code? I know the program RIACCESS and I went through the SAP Note 583698.
Is this only solution for this? Or Any other possibilities?

It is not possible to create tables in a non SAP schema from inside SAP.
The SAP-Oracle license also does not allow you to create the table (see note 581312):
the following actions, among other things, are therefore forbidden at database level:
Creating database users
Creating database segments
Querying/changing/creating data in the database
Using ODBC or other SAP external access methods

If you are using Access 97, you can download directly into an access
database from SAP. See program RIACCESS for details. You have to establish
an RFC destination PS_ACCESS_1 and 2.
There are then a couple of function modules. Go to SE37 and put in
msaccess and hit PF4.

For the MS-Access interface SAP delivers 4 files:
WDPSASTR.EXE This is an RFC server program that is called by SAP R/3

Before using the program "RIACCESS", you need to install the PS utilities, which are part of SAPGUI install CD.

2. You will need two RFC destinations (TCP/IP connections for the front-end workstation).
Setup the two RFC destinations PS_ACCESS_1 and PS_ACCESS_2 and you'll have to get them to point to

means even line items are all displaying in one row.means continously all line items are coming just like this.

Actually here problem is text file data is continously coming with ','

How to split those records when sending the text file.

            My problem was solved.But I have used GUI_DOWNLOAD.
    But i want to place the file name with increasing order number.
Just like suppose 1st i am placing file name as PO000051.txt
next time the file name has to be placed with increasing order like PO000052.txt
I am generating the number in my program actually i am using like this.If i keep file name as
190.0.18.65\qdls\ITGSAP_P\PO000052.txt means only it will place only that file how to increment that number. i am not getting.
