Accessing a specific tab and/or region via an URL ?

Is there a way to change the tab of a page using an URL ?
I have the same question concerning the regions of a page (if so it would be working like a frameset) ?My situtation: I have a HTML Portlet containing a custom Menu using Javascript, and I want the links to point a specific tab or a region of my page. => I guess I could use the 'changetabs' and 'regionid' parameters next to the 'pageid' in the URL.
Any kind of hints appreciated !

A portal page cannot work as a frame. Each region is a html table and a portlet in it is also a table. They are nested.
Tabs are links. You can copy the url of the tab by right clicking the tab and paste it as the menu link.
You cannot copy a region because it is not a frame it is a html table.

Another option is to create aliases to those folders and store the aliases in a local folder which you can place on your Dock, the Finder window sidebar or toolbar.

Unable to access WLS_FORMS for Work and asset management via weblogic

If I cannot "go back" when using a website I cannot close that specific tab and have to close them all. I have had to restart from scratch several times today . Having a choice of closing the last tab only would be very useful. Why can't I?

After I browsed a page in a websit, I could not close that page by using the X in the rt. hand top corner as when I did this Firefox told me that it would close all tabs. It was the only way out so I closed them and started from scratch.

If you’re sure that you have a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU and 2 GB of 667 MHz RAM, then what you have is not a MacBook Pro, but an Early 2008 MacBook (did it really cost £2000 then?) — and with that model of MacBook, you could upgrade to Lion. Whether you stay with Snow Leopard or upgrade to Lion, you might find that upgrading your RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB could be helpful.
You can confirm which model you have by selecting About This Mac on the Apple menu, clicking the “More Info…” button, then clicking on the “System Report…” button, and looking at the “Model Identifier” value in the Hardware Overview section. If you have an Early 2008 MacBook, then the model identifier will say “MacBook4,1”. If it gives a different model identifier, then include that model identifier in your reply, and we can determine which model you have, and which CPU and speed of RAM it uses.
Note that Firefox 26 still supports Snow Leopard, and that Mozilla makes no CPU recommendations for Firefox on OS X other than “an Intel x86 processor”.

How to access the "Genre", "Artist", and "Album" Panel via COM/script

I thought I posted this a couple of days ago, but checking on "My Posts", it appears I didn't. Oooops
I'm using the COM interface, which is also same as the scripting one.
I'm trying to discover what elements in the iTunes main window have been selected, and thus "highlighted".
The main window appears, to the interface, to be the "BrowserWindow", not to be confused with the View -> Show Browser window. Within this main window, I can identify which Playlist is currently selected, and/or which individual tracks are selected.
But, what I'm trying to do, is also identify if any elements in the View -> Show Browser window are also selected. "Genre", "Artist", and "Album".
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how do I achieve it.

Re-use theme 15 tabs and breadcrumbs

Hi,
I am trying to create a custom theme (based on the modern theme #4) in APEX 4.0.2. I want to replace its tabs and breadcrumb region with the ones in the traditional theme #15. Does anyone know how to re-write the following table-based stuff into "css-based"? The tabs should float in the right of the screen - look at theme #15.

Do you really want the ugly tabs from theme 15, or just have the theme 4 tabs on the right?

Safari tab and quit problems

Sometimes whenever I open a new tab and type in a new url the new tab will remain blank but the tab I had open before will go to the page I had just typed in. Anyone know how to fix this or why it started doing this?
Also, usually after the tabs start doing this Safari unexpectedly has to quit.

RDS 2012 R2 - How do I lockdown access to Local Computer Management and Windows Backup via Group Policy

Greetings all,
I am needing assistance in how to lockdown access to Local Computer Management and Windows Backup via Group Policy for users that access RDS service. I have followed this awesome guide - h t t p://w w w.it.ltsoy.com/windows/lock-down-remote-desktop-services-server-2012/
- but it is missing two important resources that I would like to lock down.Currently, I have successfully locked down Control Panel for users via Group Policy, but I cannot find any group policy or guide on how to restrict user access
to Computer Management (different to Server Manager). When using Win-X shortcut to open the 'Administrator's shortcuts' near the windows icon, I have locked down everything except Computer Management. Computer Management gives direct access to Disk Management,
Shares etc, which are locked down for users. But Windows Server Backup is still accessible. Can someone please guide me on how to restrict access to both Computer Management and Windows Server Backup.

Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.

Problems with classpath and accessing a specific file

I'm currently running an application using NetBeans (I know this is the Sun Forum but maybe someone can help). For those who aren't familiar with this IDE, whenever a project is created, a ProjectName folder is also created. Inside that folder are 5 new folders (*build*, dist, nbproject, src and test) as well as 2 new files (*build.xml*, manifest.mf). The dist folder contains the *.jar* file.
Seeing that this is an audio application, I am constantly working with audio files. In the ProjectName folder, I've created a sixth folder (*audiofiles*) were I load and save such audio files. To access a specific audio file, I do the following:
File audioExample = File("audiofiles" + File.separator + "audio.wav");When I run the project from the IDE there doesn't seem to be a problem. However, when I try to run the project by simply double-clicking the *.jar* file in the dist folder, the audio files can't be accessed. In order to be able to access them, I need to change the path:
File audioExample = File("C:\...\ProjectName\audiofiles\audio.wav");This seems to solve the problem temporarily, but if I decide to change to project folder location, I also need to change the path.
QUESTION:
What is the best way to access files so that they are not dependent on where the project folder is located? Do I need to modify the classpath or simply write the path in File(...) in a specific way? If I need to modify the classpath, how can I do so in Netbeans?

Naturally that depends on where you DO want to load from. Are the files in the classpath? Are they in the current working directory?
Some other directory where you can ask the user to point to? On a different computer?The audio files are located in a created folder in the IDE project folder. I know you mentioned that I should stop thinking about this as an IDE project but I don't know any other way to think about it. I'm kinda new to Java, and the only way I've learned how everything is structured is through the IDE project structure. I'm realizing that this is probably not the best way to go about as it doesn't allow me to have a good understanding of the Java file structure. What changes do I need to make in the way I view my IDE project to make it more into a deployed version?
I'm also having a hard time understanding the classpath concept. I've been under the impression that the classpath was simply the location of the packages and classes of a specific application. How could I check if the audio files are in the classpath?

And Im a Firefox man. Can anyone look into this or maybe create a plugin that does what POW! does for IE? I will donate to the creater of a plugin that does that. The Firefox pop-up blocker is very effective. If you are getting a lot of pop-ups in Firefox, you may have picked up some Malware that is causing those pop-ups.

And surely if I am backing up the whole computer these projects/videos will be backed up too? I wasn't sure how to do this any other way and I am clearly not great with tech issues. Urgent:Tab and item level access not working

Hi,I am on portal 9.0.2.0.1 version.I am trying enable security.I have made 5 groups.Added users to group.Those users have only basic view privileges.
At my page group level I gave view access to all 5 groups.
At page level gave view access to all 5 groups and checkmarked enable item level security.
At tab level on one of tabs I gave view access only 4 groups.
At item level on one of items I gave view access to only 4 groups.
Now I log in as one of the users in 5 th group and the tab as well as te item both are visible.
Is it a bug or am I missing somehting.

If you don't assign view privilege on the page group, then you have to assign view privilege on every page that you want your users to see.
As you discovered, the tabs and items override the page privilege (a tab or item can be hidden from a user who has view privilege on the page), although your users need a minimum of view privilege on the page to see any content.
I don't understand your comment about groups - they work fine for managing privileges.
Note that you can use bulk actions (and List View in 9.0.2.6) to manage privileges for multiple pages. You can also assign privileges to your page template to default the privileges on pages based on the template. And new pages will inherit the privileges of their parent if the page group property "Copy Parent Page Properties When Creating Page" is set.

Tabs and Regions to match the Login, Alternative 1 template in Theme 2.

All,
In Theme 2 - Blue and Tan, there is a Template called 'Login, Alternative 2'. I would like to use this Template. I was wondering are there any Report Region and Tab Templates that have this same look to them. In particular the blue background with the white lettering. I used the Report Region templates but they have a different color background and blue letters. I would also like to have the tabs have this same look. Is this available anywhere?

To answer your question, I was wondering if there was a theme built around this template. It has square corners with white writing on a blue title for the region. What I did was copy that template and rename it so I was able to reuse my new template for other regions. But now the region template that I created does not look right with the tabs that went with Theme 2. I looked at the style sheets but could not figure out what needed changing.
For instance, I use Theme 2 which has blue and tan tabs and labels for the text items being tan also. It also has curved edges to the tabs as opposed to the straight edges that were on the Login, Alternative 2 region. Would I have to know how to design my own tabs to create tabs that have that same look to them. I was wondering if there is a Theme that someone may have created to go with that Login Region that I used?
I think this really has more to do with the images that were used to make the tabs than with the style sheets. But thanks for giving it a try. It reassures me that I was on the right track by looking at the style sheets.
