Accessing JMS UDD deployed on OSB cluster from a composite JMS adapter deployed on soa cluster

Our environment setup
Single domain with three clusters
osb_cluster.soa_cluster and   bam_cluster
osb_cluster: osb_server1 and osb_server2
wlsbJMSServer_auto_1: targetted to osb_server1
wlsbJMSServer_auto_2: targetted to osb_server2
osb_subdeployment1:targetted to wlsbJMSServer_auto_1 and wlsbJMSServer_auto_2 JMS servers
osb_subdeployment1 has JMS UDD queue jms/wlsb/queue
soa_cluster: soa_server1 and soa_server2
There is a BPEL composite deployed to soa_cluster. It has JMS adapter trying to read messages from jms/wlsb/queue
JCA JMSAdapter is deployed to osb,soa clusters and Admin server
ConnectionFactory is targetted to soa and osb clusters (osb_cluster and soa_cluster)
We have bounced soa and osb  servers(not admin) after jms changes.
soa log says
JMSAdapter Composite1l JmsDDEndpoint_onFailure: Unable to resolve 'jms.wlsb.queue. Resolved 'jms'
Can we access JMS destinations deployed  on one cluster from different cluster?
If yes, how can we do that ? do we need  to modify BPEL JCA file to indicate destination is on another cluster?
Thanks,
Praveen

  • SOA Suite 11g composite application deployment to SOA cluster?

    What is the best practice for 11g composite app deployments to a SOA cluster? Currently, when customer deploys SOA composite it only gets deployed to one of the SOA managed servers in the cluster and the only way for them to sync up SOA1 and SOA2 is by bouncing the servers. Is there a best practice on how to deploy composite apps to SOA clustered env?

    1) When we deploy the composite, will it be distributed across all the servers in the cluster ? or only in one server?
    If you deploy it on to cluster it will be distributed across all the servers.
    2) If i have a composite which polls the file, and we deploy this composite in the cluster, How to avoid the locking between two processes since both are same and polling to same directory?

  • [OSB10.3.1] err creating JMS stuff in OSB cluster from recorded WLS session

    Hi all,
    I've setup an OSB cluster with 2 managed servers.
    From WLS console I created successfully the below JMS resources:
    1. new file store, name and directory: MyFileStore_m01, target: bnk01osbm01 migratable
    2. new file store, name and directory: MyFileStore_m02, target: bnk01osbm02 migratable
    3. new jms server, name: MyJMSServer_m01, persistent store: MyFileStore_m01, target: bnk01osbm01 migratable
    4. new jms server, name: MyJMSServer_m02, persistent store: MyFileStore_m02, target: bnk01osbm02 migratable
    5. new jms module, name: MyJMSSystemModule, targets: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster
    6. new xa conn factory, name: MyXAConnectionFactory, jndi name: MyXAConnectionFactory
    (targets as proposed by WLS itself: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster)
    + XA Connection Factory Enabled: true
    7. new Distributed Queue, name: MyDistributedQueue1, jndi name: MyDistributedQueue1, load balancing policy: round-robin
    (targets as proposed by WLS itself: cluster bnk01osbcluster + all servers in the cluster)
    + allocate members uniformly: true
    and I recorded that into the included recorded_by_wls.py. As said no error has been raised.
    Then I removed the above JMS resources and I executed the recorded_by_wls.py from command line getting the error that I reported at the end of the email.
    I changed slightly the original py produced by WLS by adding only the below first 5 lines:
    print "Starting the script ..."
    connect("weblogic", "weblogic", "t3://wasdv1r3n1.dev.b-source.net:7031")
    edit()
    startEdit()
    cd('/')
    I included also the recorded_by_wls.py source at the end of the email.
    For information I reported also what I saw on WLS console when I created manually my JMS resources.
    Do you have an idea why a successfully recorded WLS session fails when executed from a command line ?
    Any help will be very appreciate.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ferp,
    Do you have an idea why a successfully recorded WLS session fails when executed from a command line ?It should not fail. Each and every successfully (activation has been done without reporting an error/conflict) recorded session will execute on other servers successfully until a unique name constraint gets violated.
    In your case this violation has happened. Your script is trying to create a distributed destination "MyDistributedQueue1" under module "MyJMSSystemModule", targetted to JMS Server "wlsbJMSServer_auto_2" but a Distributed Queue with same JNDI name already exists there.
    Please check.

    Yes, I did.

    I tried with both files. I restarted Tomcat, but nothing work :-(

  • Programmatic deployment of osb configuration to cluster.

    Hi,
    Could you please help me to solve a deployment issue?
    The osb deployment environment is having an admin server and a cluster with 2 managed servers.
    I would like to deploy osb configuration jars to the cluster by programtic way using the scripts like given in the osb docs.
    The sample scripts given in the osb using admin server and port. If i deploy the osb configurations with admin host and port , will they deployed to the cluster? Or i have to specifically say to deploy in the cluster? If yes , how can i mention in the script, to deploy to the script?
    In one of the OSB video , its said if we use osb console, by default configurations will be deployed to cluster if there is cluster setup. But nothing mentioned about programmatic deployment. Could some one help me. Thanks.

    In a clustered topology, only one Oracle Service Bus cluster is allowed in a domain.
    Have a look at these documents

  • Access NLB cluster from outside

    I crated nlb cluster using 3 servers, one is used to create cluster and other 2 for hosts. I assigned 192.168.1.2 for cluster ip. Every server has two nic and one of nic connected to public ip. My worry is how can I access cluster from out side? As mentioned
    in
    this question I asked my server provider enable NAT and this is their reply. "We dont offer any NAT solutions but you can easy set up one of your servers to perform this."
    can anyone tell me how can I do this?
    chapneox

    Hi chapneox,
    Could you clarify your question, I am not quite understand your description “can I access cluster from out side”. You can use the “Internet” IP address as your NLB virtual
    IP address. But if your cluster after NAT or firewall you must map the NLB port from the NAT or firewall device.

    Hi Josh
    I hope you have a SOA Domain created that has AdminServer and atleast one soa_server1 managed server. Ofcourse you can have Developers SOA Domain that has only AdminServer with SOA modules also deployed. So first make sure you have SOA Domain. Assuming you have SOA Domain, generally it is recommended to deploy/undeploy any SOA Composite JAR from the Enterprise Manager console (not from core weblogic admin console like http://host:port/console). The Enterprise Manager facet has to be checked when you create SOA Domain. Then you can access it like http://host:port/em. Then on left side, select your soa_server1 and right click mouse and deployments and deploy your soa sca jar file. This takes care of backend soa_infra and other db tables properly updated with all the info from your sca jar file.
    So try from Enterprise manager.
    Infact if you have JDeveloper, just configure your soa domain there. And you can deploy directly from JDeveloper itself on this SOA Domain.
    Thanks

    So it seems like I have to use RCU for create table but there is no version for sun solaris.
    Please kindly help how to solve this issue. I use Sun Solaris 64bit

    RCU is available for Windows & linux platforms only but it can be used to create schema's on remote databases as well. So in case your DB is on non Linux/Windows platform, then run RCU from any machine with Linux/Windows plaform and create schema's on remote database.

  • Export OSB configuration from eclipse using ant script

    I am trying to export an OSB project from eclipse using ant script
    I followed the link below http://biemond.blogspot.com/2010/07/osb-11g-ant-deployment-scripts.html
    It is using com.bea.alsb.core.ConfigExport to do the export. This export is always set to resource level.
    I see it generates a file ExportInfo setting some properties. It has a property that set the export level as below
    <imp:property name="projectLevelExport" value="false"/>*
    How can I export the project in project level? basically setting projectLevelExport to true?
    So that if a file does not exist in the sbconfig.jar file , then while importing the jar to OSB server it will delete the file from the server instead of skipping it?
    I appreciate any help
    here is the ant script snippet that gets executed to export from eclipse
    <target name="exportFromWorkspace">
         <delete failonerror="false" includeemptydirs="true"
    dir="${metadata.dir}"/>
                   <!--eclipse.refreshLocal resource="${config.project}" depth="infinite"/-->
    <java dir="${eclipse.home}"
    jar="${eclipse.home}/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.1.0.v20100507.jar"
    fork="true" failonerror="true" maxmemory="768m">
    <jvmarg line="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"/>
    <arg line="-data ${workspace.dir}"/>
    <arg line="-application com.bea.alsb.core.ConfigExport"/>
    <arg line="-configProject ${config.project}"/>
    <arg line="-configJar ${config.jar}"/>
    <arg line="-configSubProjects ${config.subprojects}"/>
              <arg line="-exportLevel true"/>
    <arg line="-includeDependencies ${config.includeDependencies}"/>
    <sysproperty key="weblogic.home" value="${weblogic.home}"/>
    <sysproperty key="osb.home" value="${osb.home}"/>
    <sysproperty key="osgi.bundlefile.limit" value="500"/>
    <sysproperty key="harvester.home" value="${osb.home}/harvester"/>
    <sysproperty key="osgi.nl" value="en_US"/>
    <sysproperty key="sun.lang.ClassLoader.allowArraySyntax" value="true"/>
    </java>
    </target>

    yes, I specified the project name to export the whole project.
    Here is few lines from my properties file
    # properties for workspace export
    config.project="OSB Configuration-GW"
    config.jar=D:/workspace/osb/scripts/gateway/mycode2/ant_osb/dist/sbconfig.jar
    config.subprojects="GatewaySecurity"
    config.includeDependencies=true
    workspace.dir=D:/workspace/osb/gateway-workspace
    But this property does not make it to export at project level ,it export the specified project at resource level.
    And while importing this jar to OSB server, if a file is missing it skips the file instead of deleting the file from the OSB server
    If I unjar sbconfig.jar file, open ExportInfo file and update the line in bold below to true then it deletes the file from OSB server, if not exist in sbconfig.jar
    <imp:property name="exporttime" value="Thu Dec 29 13:57:44 EST 2011"/>
    <imp:property name="productname" value="Oracle Service Bus"/>
    <imp:property name="productversion" value="11.1.1.4"/>
    *<imp:property name="projectLevelExport" value="false"/>*
    Here is few lines from Oracle API java doc
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13171_01/alsb/docs26/javadoc/com/bea/wli/sb/management/importexport/ALSBImportOperation.Operation.html
    public static final ALSBImportOperation.Operation Delete
    Indicates that the resource is deleted in the importing domain. This is the default operation when the project is exported in its entirety and the resource exists in the target domain but not in the jar file
    public static final ALSBImportOperation.Operation Skip
    Indicates that the resource is skipped meaning the resource is not touched in the importing domain. This is the default operation if the jar file was exported at the resource level, and a resource that exists in the target domain, does not exist in the jar file.

  • How to access BW RFC FM as web service from Enterprise portal using SSO

    We have developed a custom remote function module in our BW system. We are accessing this function module as a webservice from a java class we have written. This java class access the BW webservice and formats the output. We created a webservice on top of this java class and deployed on the Enterprise Portal. SSO is setup between EP and BW systems. So when i make call to the BW RFC webservice, i would like to make use of SSO setup between EP and BW instead of hardcoding the user id and password while calling the webservice. Please advise on how to achive this.
    Thanks for the help.
    Thanks

  • Problem in creating JMS business service in OSB

    Hi all
    I am creating a JMS business service in osb:request /response is TEXT
    It write to "*QueueSend*"-which is my URI endpoint
    I have a MDB which read from "*QueueSend*" and write to "*QueueReceive*"
    i have given the *"Response Endpoint*" in jms business service to point to "*QueueReceive*"
    When i send the msg, it write to QueueSend and mdb writes it to QueueReceive but JMS business service doesn't read from QueueReceive,it just wait a long .......
    What is the problem??
    Thanks
    Rohan

    Hi Rohan,
    Are you able to see consumers on "QueueReceive"?
    If no, then your BS is not listening on this queue. Check the end-point again. Check server logs to know if any error occured while BS tried to connect with Queue. Restart your server which has this queue and then the OSB, and try again.
