Accessing Web mail via WinRT Surface

All,
I have a MS Surface.
I gave up trying to get Outlook on it to log in over the last few days..using the most recent settings per Verizon Support...
So I went the Internet Explorer route...and behold...the web site has some issues redendering most of the Verizon website..not just Webmail.
Anyone else use a WinRT tablet?
I successully linked the Live Account and use the built in Mail client to read Live.com which pulls in Verizon.net account emails....but getting Outlook on the RT...well..
BTW.. a Win7 laptop running Outlook2013 has no issue.

What are you on about "iCloud website".
iCloud websites DON'T exist because iCloud does not offer web hosting.
If you want to look up a website, then do this in the normal way by using Safari and typing in the url of the website you wish to visit.

Can I setup Mail app to access Yahoo mail via IMAP? I think that my iPhone is doing this, but what about the Apple Mail app on my Mac? I don't like the fact that the Mac downloads the e-mail messages and removes them from the server, therefore making them inaccessible from Yahoo's online mail or my iPhone.

There is an option in the 'Advanced' section of the account setup to delete the messages from the server after a specified period rather than immediately on download; you could leave them for a week or whatever, then they will still be there when the iPhone accesses them.

Accessing Web Service via Bluetooth

I can give you one solution not direct but in some tricky way you can achieve what you are trying to do.
1. Built a client application in Java and run it as a service in your laptop and will be communicate with your application at the mobile end.
2. Send some triggering command to that application(the service you are running in laptop) from your mobile which will access the web service and perform the action you want your web service to do and send the result over bluetooth to your mobile app.
In this case instead of using the bluetooth directly to access the web service you are making one proxy application to perform. Hope this solution will help you out to move ahead. Let me know whether it works for you or not.

Cannot access iCloud mail via Mail.app

Starting this afternoon, I have not been able to access my iCloud mail via the Mail.app program on my iMac. I am, however, able to access my iCloud mail via my iPod touch. Is anyone having a similar problem?

I'm trying to fix this on my husband's Windows 7 machine. Same problem. Rotating gear, page never loads. Would appreciate guidance.

No variable Screen when accessing web reports via "New analysis" button

Hello !
I need some help or explanation :
I'm on a web report (Java) and i want to access another report.
I click on the "new analysis" button on the top, then i open the "roles" folder and select a report.
The new report start but without the prompt screen with the variable selection.
I also saw that the URL shown on Internet explorer is the old one (not the new querie URL)
This is the same problem with all my queries when accessing them via the "new analysis" menu.
Why is this screen squeezed ?
I need to have these variable entries !
I've tried some modification on 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN .... (porperties / variable) = no effect

I've exactly the same problem ! I've changed WT properties to ON for Variable Screen, Reset Variables etc... but it has no effect...

Could someone please tell me what IMAP settings I need to put into Windows Mail in Vista to access my .Mac mail.

About setting up other email programs
You can use any standard email program to read your .Mac Mail messages.
To set up other email programs:
Open your email program and set up an account that uses:
Your .Mac member name for the account name
Your .Mac password for the mail password
quot;mail.mac.com" for the POP or IMAP server
Your ISP's SMTP server for the outgoing mail server
If your email application supports authenticated SMTP, you can use "smtp.mac.com" as your SMTP server. This allows you to send mail from locations where you cannot use your ISP's SMTP server.
Mac OS X Mail supports authenticated SMTP and is set up to use smtp.mac.com for .Mac Mail accounts by default.
Note: Some ISPs restrict access to the TCP port (25) used by SMTP. If your ISP is blocking port 25, you can use your email application to change the port to 587 and try again. If you continue to have trouble sending mail using smtp.mac.com, switch back to your ISP's SMTP server.
For information on using a web browser instead of a desktop email program to access your .Mac Mail messages, search .Mac Help for "reading email."

How do I access iCloud mail via Safari on iPad?

I need to find old emails in my iCloud account. If I search on the iPad, the search doesn't seem to go as far back as I need and the older emails don't appear. I tried going www.icloud.com but it redirects to a page telling me how to install iCloud on the iPad... Any clues? Thank you very much!

You need to change iCab's configuation so it presents itself to iCloud.com as a Desktop Browser so it lets you access the full iCloud.com.
I believe you can do it from its Settings under Browser ID or something similar. Set it to a Desktop Browser.

How to block one IP from accessing web mail

Recently a hackers who is using a particular IP log in into our users webmail and start to send spam all over the world.
FYI the user accounts use weak password, so that's why the hackers could log in easily.
My question is could I block that hacker's IP (one particular IP) from logging into our webmail..?

Email-Web Mail access

I have set up email on a couple different accounts. I get this message when I click on the WEB MAIL, from the admin console (any of them).
ERROR: Either your user account does not have email enabled or you are trying to access Web Mail from an incorrect site. First go to Admin->Manage Domain Name to enable email for your domain. Then go to Admin->Manage Users to enable email for your user account.
Am I doing something wrong? I have followed the steps, a few times, for different sites, and it is always the same message, no matter who I am signed in as, or if I have set up email or not.

You will get this error if your are logged into the admin as a non-email account user. So if you created an email account and the user also has admin access you'll need to login as the new user who has both admin + email access to use that option.
If not and the user is only enabled for email access you can only reach the webmail directly via mail.yoursite.com.

Problem accessing mail via Safari browser

How do I access iCloud Mail via my Safari browser on my iPhone? If I go to iCloud.com it just offers me the option to install it on my phone.
The problem is, I already have it installed on my phone and it works fine EXCEPT at my new job - the wifi is not very good and I can access internet/Facebook etc but every time I try and load email it always says it 'cannot find the server .' I therefore tried to access email via safari browser - my other email provider works fine that waybut iCloud doesn't even give me the option to login, just keeps suggesting I install it.
Any ideas how I can check iCloud email at work? Can't do it on work computers, site is blocked....and there is no 3G/4G signal.

Why Vietnamese font is error when replying by using outlook access web?

I'm Chuong, I come from Vietnam. Some of our workers are using firefox to check their outlook access web mail. Their problem is when they reply a mail, the font (Vietnamese font) of these emails is error for example (c?ng hòa xã h?i ch? nghia vi?t nam). Would you like to guide me to troubleshoot this problem asap?

Looks fine here on Linux.
Send with:
*Encoding: ISO-8859-1
Meta tag in document:
*text/html; CHARSET=iso-8859-1
There is no font specified, so the default is used.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
You can a different default font to see if that helps, in case that the currently selected font doesn't have all the glyphs.<br />
I'm using Verdana as the default font, but a font like Arial should work as well.
You can test this in the above posted Unicode Wikipedia pages.
You may need to uncheck this while testing:
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

I keep trying to access my mail but MAIL keeps rejecting my password. I am an AOL user. Please advise?

I keep trying to access my mail via the MAIL icon on my MacbookPro but it keeps rejecting my password. It worked find an hour ago but all of a sudden it won't work. I tried deleting the acct and re-adding it but still the same problem. The odd thing is I can send no problem.

Okay now it's effecting my Iphone and Ipad accts.

So far as I can tell this is a server overload problem and Apple is working to fix things. I have had the same thing all morning and just now it cleared up, though not with AOL, but my iCloud mail. I was, of course, typing in the correct password, so the error message one keeps getting is very misleading, as the rejection has nothing to do with the PW. I think if we are all patient things will straighten out through the day. My mail is okay as of noon, crossing my fingers, but at least it is nothing I did wrong.

WEB Mail

Accessing web mail from my pc is not working. Can't open mail or access my address book. Is there a common problem with this or am i just missing something?
I get to the inbox but selections will not open for reading. I have had to have all mail forwarded to an alternate address. Still unable to access address book.
Anybody have a clue?

Works for me. I right click on the misspelled word and it makes suggestions. Admittedly some of the suggestions make no sense, but they are there.
