Accidentally "poof"-ed the "Search for- Yesterday" search category

I know you can get back application icons after you poof them from the dock, but is there a way to get that little search icon back on the Finder's left-hand pane after you've poofed it?

Actually, it is a Finder preference, and you just turn it back on. With the Finder active (click on the Desktop), go to Finder in the menu bar, select Preferences, click on the Sidebar icon at the top of the Preferences window, down at the bottom put a check mark in front of the Yesterday search.

I need to write a bit of code that will retrieve the first day of the quarter, based upon yesterday's date (ie 1st of the Q for yesterday would be 01/04/2007). I have managed to achieve this using the following code:

However, I need to retrieve the result in 'date' format - the above is char. Could anyone kindly point me in the right direction?? (I have tried replacing the to_char's with to_dates, and enclosing the to_char in a to_date - but it either doesnt work, or the format is screwey).
Alternatively - would there be a simplier way to code this?? (I have only been writing SQL for a few months).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What I have done whenever I restore iOS to my iPhone and set it up as a new phone is I remove the phone entry in my car's BT; then let my phone discover the car's BT and tap 'Pair' on my phone which would prompt for my car's 4-digit passcode. Final result was the phone re-paired to my car's BT.
You might be able to still re-pair your iPhone without going through what I described IF it discovers your car's BT.

even if you wipe the drive LoJack is still there, it's installed in a hidden partition so you would have get rid of the entire OS. I caught a glimpse of the culprit and from what I seen he is more of a low life than a computer nerd. It is possible he could have tried to log-in but didn't notice the guest and admin account. While I see what you're saying I still have some hope, from what I've read online it took people more than a day to see that their laptop had gone online. If it can't get replaced LoJack has a $1,000 guarantee but that still doesn't make up for the $3,000 worth of equipment lost.

I am facing this problem since i Moderated one Forum Category.
Also when am deleting the description for a Category & save it, still it is showing the same again.
i have tried with the Clearing the Cache also.

Nothing happened, i managed to get my computer to recognise it and now restoring... but it says 3 hours remaining?! Will i lose everything?

Since Firefox updated yesterday, it won't respond to addresses in the url field or search terms in the search engine field. I can only go to addresses already in my bookmarks.

When I type an address into the url field the browser will not load the page...it just sits there as though waiting for me to press enter. Also it won't respond to the recently used addresses that show in the dropdown menu. It will also not respond when I try to use the search engine field (google). This started yesterday after Firefox automatically updated to version 3.5.9. I don't get an error message, just no response at all.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

After automatically updating when I turned on the computer, Firefox erased all my History from the end of September until the update yesterday; how can I get back all the searches in my Show All History?

It was the strangest thing. You would think that once you delete a message off your phone it is gone.
But in the "search iPhone" feature several key numbers like an area code reveal phone numbers of people
who aren't in my contact list, specifically the first few words of text messages that I deleted long ago.
I would like to eliminate these once and for all.
Will "Erase Content and settings" do this for good? Once I restore the phone will they come back?

When I have a messagestyle layout for my header, I am not able to find the items in this region for the querycriteriamap. I need to populate the header region with values entered in the search region.
For example: I create the OrderNumber messagestyledtext item in the messagecomponent layout of the header region. In simplesearchmappings, for the querycriteriamap, I am not able to find this item in the drop down for Results Item property.
Please help me to understand.

When I am using the browser for a while and try to use ANY search bar and hit the "search" button it does a whopping NOTHING is there anyway of keeping this from happening?

Whenever I am using Firefox mobile - either regular, beta or aurora and go to search for something like through the Google search page and attempt to search for something the search bar does nothing and hitting the enter button instead doesn't do anything either. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

answer and I said that before I don’t use any antivirus and I always turn off my firewall from the moment I installed my Windows.
I even turn off any automatic update for any of my software and I never let any unknown plugins or any thing like that be install without informing me. And if you know some things like Offline Storage and cookies must be to much more than usual and you have to clear them and delete them and I know so much more
And if you want to know it fixed now. But I don’t know how?

When I search for videos in google, it takes me to the different website after clicking the search
