Acrobat Pro Installation Error 213:19

What is Error 213:19 and how do I fix it?  I receive the message after an apparently successful download of my subscription to Acrobat Pro tonight and after I sign on to Adobe.com.  The verbiage refers to "there was a problem licensing the product.  Please restart your computer and relaunch the product."  I have done this several times and still the same message.  Chat support is closed.

Must have been a font or something causing the problems, as opening in safe mode allowed the software to install correctly.

  • Trouble with Adobe Acrobat Pro installation from Creative Cloud

When I attempt to install Adobe Acrobat Pro from Creative Cloud, it will always fail on the first attemp. If I retry, it installs it. Then, when I open a pdf document, the application quits in seconds. I get a modal window with the license agreement. However, it is blank and the pull downs are empty. I hit a dead end.
This is so aggravating; especially when Adobe is charging me for my membership every month.
What gives? Can someone help with this?
    Brian

Brian which operating system are you using?  Do you receive any specific errors during the installation process?  If you are using a Windows operating system then please uninstall Acrobat using the Programs and Features control panel.  Once done then please try using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool available at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html.
Also you mentioned that the EULA window is blank you may also want to see Blank EULA screen appears on Acrobat XI launch - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/blank-eula-screen-appears-acrobat.html.  Solution 2 is not likely to be relevant unless you are using an operating system not currently supported by the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Installation Error 2?

    Support:
I just purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 for my office and I'm having issues installing Acrobat 9. All other applications install, etc: Photoshop, Dreamweaver. To get ready I uninstalled all my old CS3 software and used the CS3 clean utility from Adobe. Then I searched all my files and registry and deleted all leftover files and registry entries.
I restarted and began to install my wondrous new CS4! Everything went well until the end of the installation. I got an error saying Adobe Acrobat could not be installed. It gave me the below output, basically put: "Error: Error 2". I then went to the support site and installed the Adobe Air, Adobe Support Advisor. After a quick check of the "Creative Suite Product Install" option it returned, "The module found no solutions to report for the selected log file.".
    Adobe Installer Error Info:
"Sorry you are experiencing trouble with this installation.
Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional (At install, older versions get upgraded. A l'installation, les versions plus anciennes sont mises à niveau. Bei der Instalation werden ältere Versionen aktualisiert.)
    Error:
    Error 2."
I don't know what to do now. I desperately need Acrobat installed for my business. I have searched the support site up and down and have found no information on the issue. I did find a support issue which says, "Acrobat 9 is not installed as part of Creative Suite 4 on Windows (XP 64-bit, Vista 64-bit and 2003 Server 64-bit): Adobe Acrobat 9 fails to be installed as part of Adobe Creative Suite 4 on Windows XP 64-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows 2003 Server 64-bit." However I have an x86 (32bit) system. Hell, I even tried to install the Windows KB update file and it wouldn't let me due to my system being 32bit. Link to the issue below:
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb407134&sliceId=1
I then also found a user who reported the infamous Error 2; however sadly he did not have the exact same issue although similar. He too ran the analyzer application and it also found no errors. He is also running a similar setup to mine (see specs below). He gets the same error when trying to install the other applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, etc... To this day his issue has not been taken care of. Link to his issue is below:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b6f48a
My system information: Windows XP Pro SP3 with a P4 3Ghz, 2GB DDR RAM, Radeon X1650, multiple hard drives, and the most recent updates, software, etc...
Please help and thanks in advance,
    Mike

    Bob -
I know my original post was over a year ago, but unfortunately I wasn't ever able to resolve it.  I worked with tech support over the phone wasting hours of both of our time trying to resolve this problem.  Now when I need to use Acrobat 9 Pro, I have to access it with my laptop and then transfer my work back to my desktop computer in order to use the rest of the CS4 Suite on my desktop.  The crazy thing is I'm running the exact same XP software on my laptop as I run on my desktop and Acrobat on my laptop works great. So I have no doubt that Acrobat works well with 64 bit systems on Vista and 7, but I'm not very confident that by upgrading to a new windows operating system will result with success.  This issue seems so strange to me since I am able to run 50 other applications on my desktop from other software manufacturers and can successfully download new applications from any software manufacture with the exception of Acrobat. If anyone has a similar problem and can figure out a solution, please let me know.

    Solution**********************************************
    Support:
I have figured out the solution to the issue on my own. I usually have the print spooler service disabled on my work PC to combat intellectual property theft. However, I remembered that I once had an issue installing Adobe CS3 Master Collection (Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro). The older generation Adobe software (Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro/CS3) displayed the error that the print spooler service was not started and provided a solution. What is really strange is that the newer software (CS4) simply gives no description of an error and simply outputs "Error 2".
Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro included with Adobe CS4 Master Collection will not properly install if the print spooler service is not enabled and started! After the install you can disable the print spooler service as usual, but it is necessary upon installation to have it running. In addition, Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 (Free Edition) will install and perform as usual with the print spooler service disabled. I suggest putting this information on your site for others who may experience the same issue in the future.

Checking the Event Viewer is good advice.
I had Error 1606.Could not access network location, and a web search led me to this advice to remove old registry entries for MS Office:

Makes no sense but there you have it.

  • Help, my Adobe Acrobat Pro installation stops!

I have created a package with "Creative cloud packager" with Adobe Acrobat Pro inside.
Once I download it and run the installation, after some minutes the progress bar stops and go back to the beginning, and nothing is installed.
Do you know what can be failing?
    Thanks!

    Hey Amit,
Are you facing any specific error message with this installation?
Try downloading the installer package from this link ( Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X ) and then try installing the software.
    Hope that helps you!!
    Regards,

  • Acrobat XL installation error encountered

I downloaded the Acrobat Pro install file, but when it tries to install, I get a popup box with a yellow caution icon and the heading of "Error Encountered."  The message states, "Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected failure.  Please try again.  If it continues to fail, contact Adobe Support."  This is me contacting Adobe Support.  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Try downloading the installer again perhaps with a different web browser.

  • Trying to install Acrobat Pro X, error regarding IE7 requirement, client has IE10 installed

I am trying to install Acrobat Pro X on a Win7 client, and I keep getting an error after entering the serial # info about the software requiring IE7 or better to be installed.  The only option is to cancel the installation.  The client has IE10 installed.  How do I move past this?

Thanks for the advice.  I tried what you recommend - uninstall Reader (10, in this case), install and run the cleaner tool, restart, then restart the installation.  Unfortunately, I get the same error.
Any other thoughts?  I am logged into the client in the admin role.

  • Adobe Acrobat X Installation Error

We have many Windows machines with Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard installed and running without issue, and they can update just fine. When we try to install the newly purchased Acrobat X Standard on these machines, the installation fails at the very end after creating the PDF printers. We have tried letting the Acrobat X installer remove Acrobat 9, and we have also uninstalled Acrobat 9 manually before attempting the Acrobat X install. We are installing with local admin rights.
The error still occurs, and Acrobat X installation fails with :
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {C6357C55-7461-3D51-9AE5-FD71CA24027A}.
    HRESULT : 00x8007051A.
Then we hit OK, the entire installation rolls back and fails. However, we are able to reinstall the Acrobat 9 Standard without issue.
Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

    Good day,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble.  Try the solutions outlined in this document: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-1935-install-acrobat-reader.html if you're still having trouble.
    Kind regards,

  • Acrobat Pro 10, error message 1602

I have X pro (10.1.13) working perfectly on my machine, when I attempted to run it on my son's machine (same hardware, Op system W7Ult., etc. identical), apart from he has JAWS 15 loaded and running (He is totally blind), I can get X pro running as 10.0., but when I try to update to latest version the loader crashes with the error message 1602, updates not available try later.
I tried later etc., and have read the various reports of error 1602 for earlier versions, tried some of the reported deletes of the ARM folder, but nothing seems to work.
Any Ideas, possible fixes?, he is trying to do his degree work and Acrobat Pro would help greatly here

That error means that the user has interrupted the install, which not necessarily means you actually pressed a key or something. Presumably there is a service or utility on your system that causes this and blocks some install operation. Definitely shut down all those things temporarily...

  • Acrobat pro X error: Cannot use this product under a guest account

We are installing acrobat pro with GP on XP systems. The install goes fine but on some users machines when they launch the program it comes back with
"Cannot use this product under a guest account". The users are admins on the system. If I uninstall acrobat pro 10 and reinstall in manually the same error happens. (note these systems had acrobat pro 9 installed, but was un-installed with the acrobat pro 10 MST)

Adobe WTF???!!! I have wasted a whole day on this problem and it's pissing me off. I'm trying to do something very simple.
I have Acrobat Standard X. I installed the software on local administrator User A and it works
I login as local administrator User B and it doesn't work, says "Cannot use this product under a guest account". Fine.
I uninstalld software as User A and reboot
I login as User B and installd the software. Software doesn't run, still says "Cannont use this product under a guest account". Why???!!! This is ridiculous. User B, is a local admin acount, it is not a "guest account". I understand that with this license I can only run the software with one account. I want to run the software with User B, why are you forcing me to run it with User A???!!!
Can someone from Adobe please give a solution to this ridiculous problem? I'm losing my patience with your products and I am considering going another route...

  • Activation of Acrobat Pro XI error with valid serial number?

During activation of my Acrobat Pro XI the error message appears:
"Serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer"
When I scroll "Product" pop-up menu, there is not Acrobat XI Pro...

You have purchased (or received) an upgrade. You must now prove you own Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X, by giving the serial number of your older (qualifying) product.
