Acrobat shows as "up to date" on a fresh Yosemite install. Can't uninstall or install Acrobat.

Yesterday I installed Yosemite on a brand new MacBook Pro. Today I installed Adobe CC. When the CC application launched for the first time it showed Acrobat XI Pro as being installed and "up to date".
I did NOT install Acrobat, but I want to. The problem is, I cannot uninstall it, since it isn't actually installed!
Other CC apps seem to install correctly.
Steps I have tried to remedy the problem are:
- Restart the computer
- Run the Adobe cleaner tool and reinstall Adobe CC
- Delete AAMUpdater, AAMUpdaterInventory and OOBE and reinstall Adobe CC
I know that there are many reported compatibility problems between Acrobat and OS X Yosemite, but I hope it is actually possible to install Acrobat on Yosemite? Any tips?

Adobe support resolved this for me. I had to unplug all external hard drives, and once that was done ACC no longer detected Acrobat as being installed.
At the time the problem presented I was plugged into an old MacBook, which was in "target disk mode" - in other words, it was being treated as an external hard drive. I guess ACC detected an Acrobat install on that hard drive.
After unplugging the external drive, and signing out and back in to ACC everything worked smoothly.

    Problem #1: I've been having problems with my Windguru application in my Iphone. From sometime onwards, it is not showing the forecasted wind, etc after I open it.     Problem #2 and somehow related: I installed Netflix app in my Iphone as a trial and went ok. Then, logically, tried in my Ipad but something went wrong. The App is installed but doesn't show anyplace. In App store it shows as installed, in General Settings it shows in the list of applications, but no Icon!
    Then I tried to uninstall from Itunes and the same thing continued happening. Worse, then I tried to install from Itunes, SAW the icon with the progress bar being installed in the Ipad and suddenly it dissapeared!!
    Anyone can help?

    Just go to 'core' and get the package(s) you need and downgrade. There is also a thread on here somewhere about setting up pacman.conf to point to a specific date with ARM if you don't want to get individual stuff manually, but just doing it individually would probably be easier, as I don't expect the kernel has too many other things you need

    If you still want AA7 running, then open Acrobat and use Help>Repair. If you cannot open Acrobat, then in Windows go to Control Panel>Programs & Features, select AA7 and repair. If you do uninstall AA7, it is likely you will not be able to successfully reinstall it without a new download.     I bought the upgrade for this version, but when I installed it and entered my new licence number, a message said that I have to have the previous version installed on the PC as proof I have an older version. Acrobat 6 would not install if 9 was installed, so I uninstalled 9, installed 6 and am now trying to install 9. Now a message is saying that it's highly recommended to uninstall 6 first to avoid application conflict. Should I just ignore the message and install it anyway?
    I waited very long on the phone and could not get help from customer service.
    Can anybody help with this problem?

    My takeaway from the TechNote below is that you'd start with your Acrobat 6 installed.
    You'd run the upgrade installer.
    At some point the installer is to provide an alert associated with the "Required Auto Removal".
    Required Auto Removal indicates that you will receive a warning that an older or less functional product has been detected.
    You can remove the less functional product or cancel the installation.
    You'd let the installer remove the "older" product.

    Hi,
    I developed a plugin which captures Before/After open, close and save events and perform some operation inside these events.
    I tested the plugin in Windows XP and Acrobat 9.0.0 and 10.0.0 and everything works fine. But when in test my plugin on Windows Server 2008 Standard 32 bits, then windows detect an error while closing the acrobat and shows the following message:
    "Data Execution Prevention has closed Adobe Acrobat"
    I am using Acrobat 10.0.0 for testing in Windows Server 2008 operating system. Also, debugging the program shows no error but plugin does not produce the desired result when tested on Windows Server 2008 Standard 32 bits operating system.
    Can anyone please giude me how to resolve this issue??

    You have to use custom JavScripting to concatenate the first 2 fields. You cannot use the first 2 calculation options because they force the values of the fields to a numeric value or ignore string values.
    Possible scripts for the 3rd field are:
    event.value = this.getField("Text1").valueAsString + " " + this.getField("Text2").valueAsString;
    or
    event.value = this.getField("Text1").valueAsString.concat( " ",  this.getField("Text2").valueAsString);
    If you do not want change the separator or not show the separator when on or the other field is empty, you will need to add more code to adjust for change.
    The above scripts will also concatenate number because the field values are read as strings and not numbers.
    There is also a generalized user written function to concatenate up to 3 fields with a separator that adjust for missing data.

    I wish to use a data-bound ADF Mobile ListView in one of the pages on the app. However, only entries of the underlying data that fulfill a certain condition shall be displayed in the list. The condition basically is an "Equals" test against a bind variable in the pageFlowScope. Therefore, I have created a corresponding Named Criteria for the data control - proceeded like described here:

    The Named Criteria, in my case, has been created and saved, yet it does not show up in the Data Controls view of JDeveloper. Therefore, I cannot drag it on a UI element to use it.
    I only have the "Operations" folder where the quick guide above also shows a "Named Criteria" folder.
    Refreshing or restarting JDeveloper did not solve this.

    Modification date and time refer to the actual report rather than the .rpt file.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?  I am using version 11.2.

    Have you tried the "Modification Date" or "Modification Time" fields located under the Special Fields section of the Field Explorer?
    I've never used them, but they seem like good candidates.

    You can not access the backup directly.
    Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
    If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
    If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
    Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
    What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?

    I have Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.6. and the plugin checker says its out of date.
    I don't think it is, it's just not Abobe Reader.
    I don't want to have both Acrobat and Reader. When I do, then there's two different plug-ins in FF, but they both have the same names, but they seem independent and it just seems messy. It looks as if the same plugin is on there twice, one updated and one not updated, but it doesn't seem possible to remove either one. Which is actually good, b/c one is for Acrobat and one is for Reader, which I didn't realize until I started looking into all this mess. Also, there's no point in me having Reader if I have Acrobat.
    It's weird that the plugin checker says the Acrobat plugin is out of date and directs me to the Reader 11 download to update it, eventhough I already have Reader 11 (thanks to the plugin checker). In other words, the one that is updated is Reader, but the one that is supposedly out of date just directs me to a DL that I already have installed. Sorry if its confusing.
    Now I downloaded it, and have since uninstalled it, but it seems well-known that there can be issues with dl'ing Reader when Acrobat is already uninstalled (or something), as well as when uninstalling one or the other, so now I am nervous, because I didn't take any precautionary measures when dl'ing or uninstalling Reader.
    I almost feel like I should uninstall everything (if possible) and just start fresh.
    Anyway, point is, the plugin checker is wrong, right?

    Hi jonadelman, if you have 10.1.6, you are current. It's just that the plugin checker doesn't know that both 10.1.6 and 11.0.2 are current.

    The issue is resolved. We are working in a sandbox with Class configuration on a DMS issue related to standard class 017. There are no standard settings in SPRO - Cross-Application Components | Maintain Object Types and Class Types | for the object type DRAW that will allow "auto-populating" characteristic values as we do with VC class 300.
    For whatever reason DRAW and class 017 are not configured by SAP in the same manner as class 300 for example.
    We made a config entry for DRAW Class 017 VBAP. Let's just say the system did not like that.
    We are exploring other options.

Against this doc. i have posted one residual payment for 5000/- on 15.08.2009 but when i am executing customer line item report in FBL5N system is showing this residual doc. date is 15.08.2009 and due date is 30.07.2009. Why is the due date showing a earlier date than doc date? The due date should be the same day or later than doc date.

    Hi,
    When we do a residual payment option, the new document created for the residual amount, is created with reference to the original document. When we create documents with reference, by default the baseline date of the new document is same as that of the original. You can change the base line date by double clicking on the line after simulating.
    Also check if you find any options in SPRO under the open item processing in the business transaction node for Accounts receivable and Accounts payable.

    When you look the context help of the xy-graph in the diagram, you see the supported data types. An array of xy-clusters is accepted. You may look in the attached code how you could built the array  of the two plots.
    Check the example VIs included in LabVIEW (in the help menu). There are several examples on charts and graphs.
