Acrobat XI aborts when archiving emails in Outlook 2010

I'm trying to archiving emails in Outlook 2010 as a PDF.  When I set the folders to archive and execute, it will run but abort and cancel the job after only partial completion.  There is no specific folder or email where this happens.  It appears to be random but I have yet to complete a full archive on my Outlook emails.  I know others have had similar problems but there doesn't seem to be many  responses.  Perhaps Adobe personnel could provide some solutions to this.  I'd appreciate any help.  Thanks.

Hi gilamonster0723,
Is Acrobat working fine with all other tools?
Please try repairing Acrobat from the Help menu.
Have you tried setting up automatic archival of the emails from the Adobe PDFMaker option?
What happens? Is this working fine?
Please check and let me know.

  • Workaround to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio?

    Hello All,
    We use Acrobat Pro 9.4.6.
Our office will not update to Acrobat X until CS6 becomes available for purchase.
We run Office 2010 Pro 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.
We need to archive email in a way that can be sorted in a PDF Portfolio by date or attachments to email.
I wrote VBA code to save email from an entire folder or several selected folders as .HTML files with the same folder structure on disk as was in Outlook. This works for sorting by date of email, but it does not allow for the attachments to stay attached to the email.
I thought about downgrading Acrobat to 9.0, but I am unsure if this is possible.
Has anyone found a way to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio which would allow sorting by which email have attachments?
    Thanks,
    edsager
P.S. A few extra steps would definitely add more benefit than cost.

To resolve error 0x8004010F , identify the current location of your default Outlook data file, and then create a new Outlook profile.
Step 1- Locate the default Outlook data file
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    In Control Panel, click Mail.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Show Profiles.
Select your current Outlook profile, and then click Properties.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Data Files.
Select the Data Files tab in the Account Settings dialog box, and then note the name and location of the default data file for your profile (a check mark will denote the default data file).
    Click Close.
Step 2 - Create a new Outlook profile
Step 3 - Configure your new Outlook profile as the default profile

  • When I send an email in Outlook 2010 I'm getting a blank HTML page tab showing up on my Firefox browser. Any ideas?

I send an email in Outlook 2010 and I'm getting a blank page tab in Firefox with this address in the browser. The page says ''There are no items to show in this view''
    file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/gkoch/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/%7B3CC4AC09-DE60-47D1-A08A-FE864958E679%7D/%7B050D6FB1-4E21-4ACC-9168-755D8BFCC2EF%7D.html
This is occurring with Outlook. So is in that program or some link with Firefox

If you are talking about your sender name (the one that appears on the From line when you compose an email) rather than your @icloud.com email address, to change it on your iOS device, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap iCloud under Accounts, tap your iCloud account at the top of the next screen, tap Mail at the bottom of the next screen, then enter the name you want to use in the Name field at the top.  Also go to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done.

  • OT: Fixing HTML Email in Outlook 2010

Beyond all understanding, MS has confirmed that they plan to use Word's rendering engine for HTML email in Outlook 2010.  It's still in beta, and Microsoft supposedly wants our feedback.   A site has been set up to help Microsoft understand that a great many of us think this is a rather foolish decision.
You can have your say by going to:  http://fixoutlook.org/.  As of this posting, almost 19,000 people have signed on.
With any luck, MS will actually listen.

  • Email via outlook 2010

I have the latest version of iPhoto running on a new mac mini.  When I try to email via outlook 2010 on the Mac it fails.  I've seen that this is a long outstanding issue that apparently neither Apple or MicroSoft wishes to address.  Is there any current workaround?

Have you searched the iPhoto community for Outlook issues?  Try these topics. Also report your problems to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.  We're just users like yourself and can't affect any changes.

  • Receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010

I am receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010. The email receiving, can go up to few hundreds copies. Not
all emails i receive will be duplicated. There is no common sender for those affected emails. Usually when i received email from my Outlook 2010 the email in Outlook Web Access will be gone. But this time round for those affected duplicating emails, it still
can be found in the Outlook Wed Access. Any solution for this problem? Currently
I would need to go into the Outlook Web Access to delete the affected email then the duplication will be stop. Or I would need to cancel the Send/Receive & restart Outlook. But this 2 method is only temporary solution. The problem will keep coming
    back.

    Dear Jeremycny,
I think you are working with a POP3 account and issue of replicated emails in Outlook is common in the case of POP3 connection. So, first of all uncheck the
“Leave a copy of messages on the server” option and see the results.
Also, see the TasK Manager, if there are multiple “Outlook.exe” are running under the
“Processes” tab, then end the unnecessary programs as each of them downloading the same email multiple times.
Apart from it, if there are numbers of factors behind the replication of emails in Microsoft Outlook such as:
    Rules (Exploiated Rules)
    Scanning Programs Integration
    Damaged Outlook Profile
Robert’s have defined these bugs in a more profound manner in his blog, so take more help from the given source:

  • Multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments will not print

    Here is our issue
    1. Select multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments (versie 10.0.1)
    2. Go to file -> Print
    3. Select Print Options.  Check the box for Print Attached Files
    4. click Print The emails will print but only the first attachment will print.
After that we recieve the following error
There was an error opening this document. The selected file cannot be found.
We have tried turning off enhanced security mode but still get the same result

You can also extract these pdf attachments via email attachment extractor from here and then send the pdf file for printing. I think this will be easier for you to print them all.

  • Can't read attached files to older emails in Outlook 2010

    Hello,
I have Outlook 2010 connected with MS Exchange.
I can’t read attached files to older emails than 3 months. In attached elements there are only small files and I’m not able to open them (size in Bytes!) - double click doesn't work. I've tried different solutions:
    1. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/dd2869cb-5e53-4852-b0bb-15de6653db0c/dont-see-attachments-in-old-emails-on-outlook-2013?forum=outlook

    3. Clear cache in Advanced Settings of Forms and clear C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\FORMS
    None of them works
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Can you read the attachments if we logon in OWA? If attachments can be read in OWA, we may try to delete the original OST file and restart Outlook to sync a new one to see the result. If still no luck, we can create a new mail profile in Control Panel to
    check the result. See:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918
If same issue continues in OWA, you may need to recover the data from the backup you create before.

  • Configure iCloud email on Outlook 2010

    Hello,
I can't configure my iCloud account email on Outlook 2010, the default settings just won't work, and it appears as it follows:
    incoming: p06-imap....
    outgoing: p06-imap...
I did follow all the suggestions I read but these doesn't work either... I mean, changing the number of outgoing port, and checking the box for SPA... What else can I do? Can someone help me?

    Hi Allemell,
I had exactly the same problem but found the following thread which resolved my issue:

It's extremely annoying. I had an issue with the latest version of WinZip, which I mistakenly downloaded and installed--it automatically zipped my files, which is not what I want it to do. I removed WinZip and reinstalled the older version, and then I started getting these messages. It also seems to be interfering with Outlook 2010 help--I get another message about downloading a Firefox document and it won't load.

  • Outlook 2010 address book prompt out hen trusted program try to send email through Outlook 2010

    Dear all,
My program will send email through Outlook 2010(in cache mode). Sometime it may prompt the address book out and pend here, and we need to manually click "OK" to let the program run again. Although we re-write the program in
Java and send by JavaMail now, but we are interested why the address book will prompt out.
There are no pattern that we can guess the reason. Different recipient, different subject/content/have attachment or not can casue the address book prompt. But same email with same content/everythings may not cause prompt before and/or after.
We try to change to offline address book and need manual sync, problem still occur.
      Just for interest~
    Cyrus
[Sorry that MSDN not allow me to upload the cap screen :( ]

Firstly, there is no such thing as a "trusted program" to Outlook. It only trusts COM addins, all other applications will cause a security prompt unless you have an up-to-date anti-virus app installed (if you can control the client environment).
See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=52 for the list of your options. Essentially it is either installing an antivirus product or using a library such as
Redemption (accessible from Java) or a utility such as
    ExpressClickYes.

  • Lync presence coloured square not working when sending email in Outlook 2013

    OK, I'm running Lync 2013 & Outlook 2013.
When I send an email from Outlook the small Lync presence icon that appears in the "To" field after you type the user your sending the email to does not appear.  You get the user name but where the coloured square should be it's just white
    (like the background colour).
If I hove the mouse pointer over the user name the pop-up contacts box shows the Lync presence correctly.
At the bottom of the new email window, the Lync presence is always shown correctly.
This happens for users with or without pictures set as their Lync icon.
I've completed a repair of the Office install without success.  Also uninstalled Lync & Office and re-installed but still no joy.  Also tried creating new Outlook profile but this didn't work.
If I create a brand new Windows 7 profile, and then create a new mail profile it works fine.  So, it must be a user profile problem.  Hopefully someone can point me to a registry key or something as I'd rather not go through the pain of migrating
    to a new user profile.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
If we need to show the Online status for contacts, just go to FILE tab ->
Options -> People -> check Display online status next to name ->
    OK.
Please also try the steps below:
    Lync -> Options -> Personal -> Under
Personal information manager -> Select None ->
    OK.
Go to Outlook, People, Right click on Lync Contacts and
    Delete Folder.
Then go back to Lync to the same options, choose Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook, go back to Outlook let the Lync contacts sync again to check the result.

  • IOS 5 update lost archive email in outlook 2007

After updating to IOS 5, all my archive emails are missing (from Archive inbox).
Not syncing with icloud (XP user), syncs with computer only.

All my POP account mail messages and sent messages on my 3GS iPhone were lost when I upgraded to iOS5. Luckily I have anything important stored on my desktop. I didn't seem to lose pictures, contacts, mail settings, or game info. But I don't have many games.
I experimented a bit this morning. I made a backup by pressing control when clicking on my device in the iTunes sidebar. I unplugged my phone and then I deleted a few of my new messages as well as a few podcasts. Then I plugged the phone in to iTunes and restored. The podcasts came back. The mail messages didn't.
So it looks to me like Apple is not including mail messages in backups. I would have sworn that they were included in earlier backups or at least earlier versions of the operating system.
I don't know of an easy way (any way) to create a good backup before upgrade or to restore those messages.

  • Unread Emails in Outlook 2010 Clients shows both UNREAD AND READ emails when connected to Exchange 2013 Server SP1

We recently upgraded to Exchange 2013 SP1 with a client user-base of Office 2010 Professional Plus / Outlook 2010 SP3.
All Unread Email favorites folders show both Unread and Read emails, just like the inbox. Removal of the folder and recreating yields the same results, as does creating a custom folder. However, in Outlook 2013 there is no problem.
Is there a patch or hot fix for this issue? Or does anyone know how to fix this issue so that the UNREAD EMAILS SHOW UP IN THE UNREAD FOLDER AND NOT INCLUDE THE READ EMAILS?
    Thank you!
    Kim Parker-Polito / Newhall Land

    Go down to Search Folders
    - Right click on Search Folders and create New Search Folder leave default "Unread Mail1" and click OK
    - Right click on the new “Unread Mail1” folder and choose “Customize this search folder”
    - Click on Browse
    - Select the checkbox for “Search subfolders”
    - Press OK and OK again.
    - Right click on old "Unread Mail" Folder and delete.
