ACS SNMP OID for active authenticated user

Hi, anyone know the OID or MIB name for Active TACACS and Radius authentication? like to use some NMS tool to pull out this information for monitoring.

I could test it , but in the meantime you could try by using acs web services

  • Oid for active isdn calls on cisco 3825

    Hello,
    we need a snmp oid for monitoring active isdn calls on a cisco 3825 running 12.4(15)T7 with VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 modules. OID cpmISDNCfgBChannelsInUse doesn't work, we get always 0 even if there are active calls.

    jclarke wrote:The CISCO-POP-MGMT-MIB has many caveats with the MAR/ISR platforms.  It was designed only for the AS5xxx platforms.  As a workaround for cpmISDNCfgBChannelsInUse, you can count the number of instances of isdnBearerOperStatus that return the status of active (integer 4).
    Hi Joseph,
    You appear to know more than most about this issue, so I will dump my query below from another string in the forums:
    Please note in the output below that your suggested use of the "isdnBearerOperStatus" variable does not work in my two routers as shown.  There were most definitely active channels at the time that the query was run, yet the response is always the same - status: idle (1)  so I remain unable to get these stats successfully across both routers.
    Any suggestions ?
    I  am running into exactly the same issue and have tried everything I can  find to get these individual PRI (count of channels/lines in use)  statistics.
    Just  for the record, here are some of the SNMP OIDs that I have tried (the  ISRs do respond to them, only thing is, the data they send back is  mostly rubbish...) the output below is from two separate routers, with  different versions of IOS running (which is shown in the sysdescr  response):
    Note that the query in red in the second router was responded to with a valid response in the FIRST router...
    All  of these OIDs have been suggested at various sites online as useable  SNMP OIDs for the ISR, but at other sites, they are suggested to be  faulty.  I have found no definitive statement for ways to get these  stats successfully on the ISR platform (which amazes me.)  Output below  is using net-snmp to collect the stats.
    I  welcome any suggestions as to how this can be done reliably for the  ISR, and what IOS versions WILL work.  (since I am getting way different  reponses to the same OIDs on the two versions below).
    You'll see that for the second (DC) router below, the values are always Zero.
    Yet I can guarantee that the ACTUAL stats are NEVER zero during the time period queried.

  • Reporting Services through ISA server for All Authenticated Users

    Hello colleagues.
    I have MS SQL 2012 server with Reporting Services and it work via link:
    https://reports2.domain.com/reports
    In LAN all work fine, but I want publish this resource via ISA for All Authenticated Users.
    When in publish rule I configure (in Condition) "All users" - all work fine, but when I configure "All Authenticated Users" - I have trouble on web form on
    https://reports2.domain.com/reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPat...  - scripts not work, because it run how "anonymous" (I see on ISA logging) and ISA block scripts.
    I can't use "All Users", because it's not secure.
    Maybe somebody publish Reporting Services through ISA server for All Authenticated Users?
    OR maybe - how on Reporting Services configure Negotiate authenticated for scripts?

    Hi Alexander,
    All users or applications who request access to report server content or operations must be authenticated using the authentication type configured on the report server before access is allowed. The AuthenticationType named RSWindowsNegotiate is supported
    by Reporting Services. To configure Windows Authentication on the Report Server, please see:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281253(v=sql.110).aspx
    Besides, we can publish report server via ISA server. Please note that you should use a new web port number with a new listener which shouldn’t be used by other web site for report server. Reference:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/forefront/en-US/1cc68996-1ce6-4d88-a30d-2bfd13fba06e/how-to-publish-ssrs-2008-through-isa-2006?forum=Forefrontedgegeneral

    Katherine thanks for answer.
    Report Server service started as Domain account.
    I have in RSReportServer.config this:
    <Authentication>
    <AuthenticationTypes>
    <RSWindowsNegotiate />
    </AuthenticationTypes>
    <RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>Allow</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionLevel>
    <RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>Proxy</RSWindowsExtendedProtectionScenario>
    <EnableAuthPersistence>true</EnableAuthPersistence>
    </Authentication>
    In web.config I have this:
    <authentication mode="Windows" />
        <identity impersonate="true" />
    I can go (from Internet through ISA) to
    https://reports2.domain.com/reports  and LogOn Authentication is work, but scripts not work, because it run how "anonymous" (I see this on ISA logging) and ISA block scripts.
    Do you know where in Reporting Services configure run scripts with Negotiate authentication?

  • Snmp oids for the command "show counters interface intx/y delta"

    Hello,
    I have a question about SNMP OIDs for the command "show counters interface intx/y delta" on Catalyst6500. The customer wants to create graphs for the following values:Overruns, qos0Outlost, InErrors, OutErrors, InDiscards, OutDiscards etc..
    Is possible to get these values using SNMP??
    Thank you

    Thank you, Dan. These OIDs are for the output from the command "show interface int x/y". But I think, that these OIDs are not for the command "show interface int x/y delta".

  • SG-500 - SNMP OID for CPU Load?

    Hello,
    i have several SG500 (Standalone and stacked). How can i get the CPU Load via SNMP? Who knows the correct SNMP OID for CPU Load?
    In the MIB which are provided as download a wasn't able to find the correct OID.

    Hello,
    There are three OIDs available for CPU usage:
    CPU utilization for 5 seconds
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.7.0
    CPU utilization for 1 minutes
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.8.0
    CPU utilization for 5 minutes
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.9.0
    This came from a scrap note I had in an e-mail, so I am not exactly sure where this information is originally.

  • Setting disk quota on Mac server for Active Directory users

    I'm having trouble setting disk quotas for Active Directory users with home folders on our Mac server.
    I've enabled disk quotas on the disk I'm putting home folders on, and I can set disk quotas for local users on the server just fine. But it doesn't seem to work for Active Directory users. I've tried setting disk quotas via Workgroup Manager and via the command line using edquota. But when I use the repquota command there is no quota entry for the AD user. I've run quotacheck and that didn't help either.
    I also understand there's a setquota command but there's no man page on how that works.
    Has anyone got disk quota for AD users working.
    Better still has someone got a shell or perl script for setting quotas they could post.
    Thanks
    - Cameron

    sorry.. I am soooooo stupid... I have to activate "File Sharing" as well.. for the user everything was already pre-activated, not for the AD users, I just saw the Time Machine checkbox grayed out ...

  • SMB access for Active Directory users

    Hi there,
    My server is an OD Master bound to AD for authentication and my institution's Kerberos realm.
    When I try to share files from the server via SMB and connect as an Active Directory user I get the following error in the logs:
    [2009/06/11 12:02:27, 1, pid=5308] /SourceCache/samba/samba-187.8/samba/source/libads/kerberosverify.c:ads_verifyticket(428)

    I've read something vague about having to Kerberize the SMB service seperately so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

  • SNMP OID for DHCP on Server 2012

    We recently installed Server 2012 standard on one of our servers and were trying to keep a graph of DHCP lease use. Anyway the OIDs for DHCP in Server 2008 R2 started with "1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.3.2.1.1". If I try to snmpwalk these same OIDs on the new Server
    2012 (We the DHCP server configured and active), I get:
    Error in packet.
    Reason: (genError) A general failure occured
    Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.311.1.3.2.1.1
    I'm using SNMPwalk and I've never had a problem with this before. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks!
    Thanks!

    I'm having the same issue. OIDs just don't work against a 2012 DHCP server. I can snmpwalk other OIDs, just not DHCP :(
    Firewall has been disabled (and there were already adequate snmp rules allowing the traffic). Since I can query other OIDs, I'm ruling out firewall.
    Has this info been removed in 2012?

  • Best practice for Active Directory User Templates regarding Distribution Lists

    Hello All
    I am looking to implement Active Directory User templates for each department in the company to make the process of creating user accounts for new employees easier. Currently when a user is created a current user's Active directory account is copied, but
    this has led to problems with new employees being added to groups which they should not be a part of.
    I have attempted to implement this in the past but ran into an issue regarding Distribution Lists. I would like to set up template users with all group memberships that are needed for the department, including distribution lists. Previously I set this up
    but received complaints from users who would send e-mail to distribution lists the template accounts were members of.
    When sending an e-mail to the distribution list with a member template user, users received an error because the template account does not have an e-mail address.
    What is the best practice regarding template user accounts as it pertains to distribution lists? It seems like I will have to create a mailbox for each template user but I can't help but feel there is a better way to avoid this problem. If a mailbox is created
    for each template user, it will prevent the error messages users were receiving, but messages will simply build up in these mailboxes. I could set a rule for each one that deletes messages, but again I feel like there is a better way which I haven't thought
    of.
    Has anyone come up with a better method of doing this?
    Thank you

    You can just add arbitrary email (not a mailbox) to all your templates and it should solve the problem with errors when sending emails to distribution lists.
    If you want to further simplify your user creation process you can have a look at Adaxes (consider it's a third-party app). If you want to use templates, it gives you a slightly better way to do that (http://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_WebInterfaceCustomization_AllowUsingTemplatesForUserCreation.htm)
    and it also can automatically perform tasks such as mailbox creation for newly created users (http://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_AutomatingDailyTasks_AutomateExchangeMailboxesCreationForNewUsers.htm).
    Alternatively you can abandon templates at all and use customizable condition-based rules to automatically perform all the needed tasks on user creation such as OU allocation, group membership assignment, mailbox creation, home folder creation, etc. based on
    the factors you predefine for them.

So far so good I can manage all my AD users, but when I click on "Edit Access to Services" I can activate anything for my AD user BUT not Time Machine!
    Does anyone knows why and if there is any workaround to make it work? For other Network (Open Directory) and Local Users I can activate it.

    sorry.. I am soooooo stupid... I have to activate "File Sharing" as well.. for the user everything was already pre-activated, not for the AD users, I just saw the Time Machine checkbox grayed out ...

  • View procedures, functions for OS authenticated user

    Hello,
    Using JDeveloper 9.0.3.3 on HPUX 11i.
    User 'oroot' is a OS authenticated user. Using the JDBC url in the connection wizard I was able to login to the database with a /. The URL is shown below: "jdbc:oracle:oci8:/@".
    Now, if I expand the "Procedures", "Functions", Packages", "Tables" etc. under this connection tree, nothing is listed, but from sqlplus I could see all these informations for user 'oroot'.
    For a Database authenticated user it works fine.

    Hi,
    Are you saying what are the roles/privileges required for this user to access cubes in global AW?
    The user must have read permission to the workspace and user should have OLAP_USER role as a default role assigned.
    If accessing through Discoverer for OLAP(D4O) then D4OPUB role should also be given.
    What is the front end tool u r using to create reports?
    Thanks
    Brijesh

  • Reading SNMP OID for used storage on px12-400r

    Hi, does anyone know how get the correct value for used disk space via snmp on the px12-400r nas?
    All capacity is configured as one big cifs share. I want to monitor the usage of space with snmp.
    If I do a snmpwalk (v3) I can pinout the filesystem /mnt/pools/A/A0 on OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3.38.
    If I read the oid for StorageUsed I get a strange negative value: -1084997477
    This value changes while data are written to the cifs share so it seems to be monitoring. But what to do with this negative value?
    Thanks for any help!
    /Anders

    Hello anders-px12-400
    I recommend checking with rtrevino from his thread.   The unit's are different, but the firmware is bascially the same across all Lifeline devices

  • Outlook 2003 mail delivery failed for Active Directory user

    Server 2003/Exchange2003
    We are using an outside company (Integra) to handle our email and only use Exchange for shared archived email.
    When configuring active directory users the wizard automatically sets up email entries in the format: [email protected]
    When responding to a meeting invite from outlook to a local AD user, all users receive undeliverable messages for the accounts in the format [email protected] as below...
    The example below was a bounce back when I accepted the invite.  The invite shows up on my calendar just fine.

    Well it looks like none of our outlook installations actually are accessing the exchange email, nor are we able to send to those email addresses even though they exist.  I have 2 email inboxes in Outlook, 1 is the Integra inbox - works fine.  The
    other is called Mailbox - UserName - populated with folder that are and always have been empty.  If I send an email to myself at [email protected]  I get the following bounce back.
