Activating Business set function for Campus management

Hello All,
I am trying to activate the business set function for Campus management but ending up in error
Invalid Status
Business function FICAX is not in target business function set
We are in Ehp4 and its IDES system. Do i miss any settings / configurations

The OMS is not set up for Enterprise Manager Security

Hi, I'm trying to add an agent to grid control and its not connecting with the management server because i cant secure it...

The OMS is not set up for Enterprise Manager Security.
i have tried this on two seperate servers, both do the exact same thing. However, on my repository server where the OMS is housed, i can secure the agent no problem. Does anyone know what the problem could be? My OMS is on a Linux (SuSE 10.2) 32-bit machine.

some further information and hopefully someone can help me...
I went to the OMS binary folder (fmc45712:$OMS_HOME/bin) and executed the following commands...
$OMS_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl stopall
$OMS_HOME/bin/emctl stop oms
$OMS_HOME/bin/emctl secure oms
$OMS_HOME/bin/emctl start oms
$OMS_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl startall
then i go to $AGENT_HOME on the OMS machine (fmc45712:$AGENT_HOME/bin) and execute..
$AGENT_HOME/bin/emctl status agent -secure
Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Release 3 Grid Control 10.2.0.3.0.
Copyright (c) 1996, 2007 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Checking the security status of the Agent at location set in /opt/oracle/OracleHomes/agent10g/sysman/config/emd.properties... Done.

I then to go the server i deployed the agent on that i want to get communicating wtih my OMS...

same command, different computer, but on the same network, and it just doesn't work. The OMS is on Linux x86 and the agent on the alternate computer is on HP-UX. If anyone has any help it'd be much appreciated.

WADK components & setting used for power management with answer file for windows 8.1 ent

I have to deploy windows 8.1 ent device with MDT answer file related to power management with customized following settings:
High performances
sleep timeout settings
standby or sleep and hibernate setting
Enable critical battery task.
But don't know
1. how to manage power settings using answer file (WADK) for win8.1.
2. which OS Windows image component and setting used for power management in WADK.

The way I do it with my task sequences (this works with MDT as well as SCCM) is to have an exported power plan using the POWERCFG -EXPORT command. I create a software package around the resulting *.POW file with a command do do an POWERCFG -IMPORT.
I then issue a POWERCFG -SETACTIVE command to the GUID of the *.POW file to enable that power scheme.

Setting Users for my managed services and application pools

I setup my SharePoint 2013 test environment and I developed an intranet site. Now inside my test environment I set all the application pool & managed services to use Farm user account for simplicity. Now I want to setup my UAT environment and I want
to follow the best practice for managing users and service accounts.
I have read the “Core Solutions Of MS SharePoint 2013” book, and it have listed the following table:-
First question. What is the difference when saying that the user “Must be a member of the Farm Administrators group” Or must be “Domain user account”?
Second question , when I first install SharePoint 2013 a lot of applications pools and managed services such as excel services , access services, Performance Point Service Application, business
data connectivity and Machine Translation Service will be automatically created , so which account they will be using and should I define separate accounts for each managed service ?
Third question. What is the recommendation for SharePoint 2013 regarding service accounts?, to use separate account for each manage service, for example one user for excel services , second user
for access services ,etc?
Fourth question. For example the documentation mentioned that the Required roles for the excel services is “Domain user account.”, but what permissions this domain user need to have ?

Q #1: This means the user must be part of the Farm Admins group. Every user is a Domain User.
Q #2: Generally those should be using a single Domain User account in a single Application Pool to minimize memory usage and reduce unnecessary complexity.
Q #3: The less Application Pools the better. E.g. One account/App Pool for all Web Applications, one account/App Pool for all Service Applications, and then Central Administration is obviously separate.
Q #4: You don't need to specifically give this type of user any sort of rights

Activity Type set up for cost center

While creating a task list i m getting a message
Activity type is not set up for cost center in the year 2008
Message no. CR062
How could i set the activity type for cost center? Plz tell the procedure.

Check out this,
1.Create a Cost center using T code - KS01.
2.Create an activity type using T code - KL01.
3.Assign the Rates for an activity type & cost center combination using T code KP26.
4.In the input screen of T code KP26 ,enter version as 0, from period 1 and to period as 12 and the Fiscal
Year as 2008,enter the cost center, activity type click on overview screen (F5)---> enter the per hour Rate
under Fixed price and set value as 2 for distribution key and plan price indicator as 3.
5.After performing this ,while creating the work center ,this combination of activity type & cost center
should be assigned.Then while creating routing/task list this work center can assigned for performing
operations.
Check with this & revert back if you need any further help.

Retain Same Connection = True - Property Set up for Connection Manager in SSIS 2012- Please help!

I have a solution with 20 packages. Target Database is same for all the packages, only target tables are different. All are working fine.
Now,as part of a new requirement,I have to change some logic in one of the packages.I have to create few 'Global Temp Tables' on the fly and populate some data into it and use those tables for update and delete in both control and data flow.
Since I am creating and using Global tables on the fly, I have to set up 'Delay Validation = True' for the package and the DFTs.
Then, most important thing is, I have to set up 'Retain Same Connection = True' for the 'Target database' connection because only then, I assume,the package will not throw errors like 'Tables are not available'.
My doubt is, if I change the Retain Same Connection = True, will it create any issue for the other packages, as all other packages are using the same connection manager.
I am using SSIS 2012.

Although 'RetainSameConnection' is a property of the Project Connection Manager, it only works within a package, but as soon as an other (child) package starts, you will loose the connection.
Safest option is probably to use a separate package connection manager.

Issue in the Academic Scales for Campus Management

Hi All,
When I use the quality scale A to E , it works fine without any problems.
But when there is a H or O grade [ So H and O will come after E where H is my top grade] ,and the system automatically calculates in an ascending order which will not suit my requirements.
It would be highly appreciable if anyone would help me in this issue .

For the system to work properly,you need to give the correct values in IMG in the nodes Academic Scale -> set system scale & set up academic sclaes.You might have done this but check once more.
Use the scale.doc given in help.sap to determine the correct base value.This excel file is of immense help.Once done,give the values for A to O in the 'scale values' coloumn while creating the academic scales.It should work in the normal course.Try this and in case it still causes problems ,revert....probably trying to solve this issue,we might come up with new findings

My organization relies very heavily upon service orders and, as such, would like to create implement a SM (service management) cube.

Hello. When I push on menu-item on my LXDE desktop and choice "Logout" I can see further window: Power off, reboot, hibernate, suspend and logout. So, where I can find 'config-file' and set own command? Hibernate is working fine for mt. Problem is that is Suspend mode - not. I want to set 's2disk' command on Suspend mode. Is it real?

This message occurs when the listener on the remote node cannot be contacted.
Did you add the host name and IP in your DNS server?
You can try tracing the path or the route a connection is taking from the client to the server. If it encounters an error, then it returns the error stack which gives us more information when compared to an cryptic one line error.
Execute the following:
trcroute host_name
This will help you find the problem and fix it. The problem may fall into one of the following areas:
Check TNSNAMES.ORA:
The TNSNAMES.ORA may contain a wrong address. Check the host and port have been specified correctly. Check the details against the LISTENER.ORA file.
Check the remote node:
Check if the listener has been started on the remote node. Check the status with the STATUS command of the listener control utility (lsnrctl):
lsnrctl
lsnrctl> status listener_name
listener_name is the name of the listener defined in the listener.ora file. If you have not changed the listener name, then it would be called LISTENER.
If the listener has not been started, start it with the command:
lsnrctl> start listener_name
You can check if the fix worked by executing tnsping. It should return an "OK" message if the TNSPING has been successful.

I have undestOOd, that i work with MM17 to active view qm with any fields from this view. After with qa08 i can insert inspection type.
Is it ok?

Only care is to be taken you should know which fields you want to populate or active QM view through QA17
