AD Preparation Scripts for R12

Hi,
We are upgrading our 11.5.10.2 applications to R12.1.3. As part of the upgrade document, it says to run adgncons.sql & adcrtbsp.sql. As we are already on OATM, I believe this is not applicable for our case, please confirm?

I am in proocess of upgrading 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3 during which i had upgrade my database to 11g and created the R12 file system using upgrade option. The problme now is i missed to apply the TUMS Patch and now while applying AD 12.1.1 driver its throwing below error. do i need to go back to 11i system and apply the tums patch and run the script to create new tablepsace or can we do that in R12.

Regarding Preparation of Ant Scripts for Oracle BPM 10gR3

Hi,
Could you please provide any document so as to prepare the Ant Script for deployment of ALBPM projects(.exp files) on to the ALBPM Enterprise Server(StandAlone,J2EEWL). I found some threads in the forums but neither of them provides a consistent way to develop a ant script. Some or the other script provided in the forum is throwing some error when running on the command prompt.

Rman can be used for Database, not for Application tier. Again, I assumed you are looking for a script to backup the database. For the application tier, you can simply do a filesystem backup.
I still do not understand your concern? Is it about using crontab? If so, then check here --> man crontab <--

Help on preparing shell script for setting the listener password

I am working on checking all my DB servers listeners and if the password is not set for the listener then I need to set the password for that.
As we have many servers, I am planning to prepare the shell script for doing this task.

Hi mahesh,
If you are using backup feature from crx console, I mean http://localhost:4502/crx/config/backup.jsp I can say that we had also some problems with this functionalities.
First off all what you need to check are the permissions, because when you check a source code there is line which creates a File object using a path specified by you to make a backup of repository.
File targetDir = new File(req.getParameter("targetDir", listDir.getParentFile().getAbsolutePath()));
You need to have sure that the proper read write access has been granted for this path.
Another issue is that maybe there was already prepared some hotfix if you are using CQ5.4. Please refer to the following link:

Please help me resolve the Lync server 2013 deployment error: "An error occurred while applying SQL script for the feature BackendStore."

I am getting an error in "Step 2 - Setup or Remove Lync Server Components" of "Install or Update Lync Server System" step.
"An error occured while applying SQL script for the feature BackendStore. For details, see the log file...."
Additionally, all previous steps such as: Prepare Active Directory, Prepare first Standard Edition server, Install Administrative Tools, Create and publish topology are done without any errors. The user that I used to setup the Lync server is member of:

Domain Users
Enterprise Admins
Group Policy Creator Owners

I Had similar issue i end up uninstalling and reinstallting but same issue, then i change the drive but same issue. It was I/O issue. After adjusting my I/O it fix our issue and installation went on without any issue.

I am working in oracle 8.1.7.4.0 and HP-UX os.I need a shell script which is to do the following tasks,
1. create a new temporary tablespace
2.assign the new temp tablespace to the database user level
3.drop the old temp tablespace
4. then create a temp tablespace with the old name
5. then assign the new temp tablespace to the database user level
6.drop the new temp tablespace

How to make a Countdown timer Script for Live Streaming

I have flash media server...
Here's a Scenario:
User wants to do a Live broadcast.. But.. they don't want to
just press record and have it starting Streaming Right that second.
They need a Delay to prepare for their Live Broadcasts.
Whats the best way for a script for a user to decide how much
time delay they need before Recording Starts?
Ideally it would look like this:
There is a separate window that allows the user to set the
Self-Timer which will give them time to get ready for their live
broadcasts.
User sets length of Time Delay: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2
minutes, or even up to 5 minutes.
User presses Start Broadcast or Record Button to start
streaming Live Video.
Then.. the Countdown Timer starts... and it displays in Big
Digits... the countdown on their screen... "3...2...1...
Broadcasting Live Now!"
How would I do this?

Open the widget library panel and follow the link to Adobe Muse Exchange.
There you find a fine little widget collection, named Andrews Prototypes.
Load it, double-click the file, and in your library you will find a countdown widget.

Hi,
Before the configuration settings / Reports are moved to Production it needs to be tested by Consultants as well as Business Users.
Business Users will specify their requirements during Blue Print phase - basically how the system should work. After completing the configuration, testing is done based on the requirements. For testing this Test scripts are prepared for different Business scenarios covering various Transaction codes. This sequence of testing different transaction codes is known as Test script.
For example for a Sales Cycle testing - a Sales Order is created - Delivery document is created - a Billing document is created. Accounting documents are checked whether it is posted to correct GL Accounts / Profit Centers etc. All these steps should be included in Test script.
