How to include .jar files in coldfusion code
To Integrate our cfm code with paypal jar files we do the
following steps with our local coldfusion server ,and to run and
integrate the paypal Java SDK jar files, I think we need to do the
same process on the server, can you suggest any thing to do the
following setting for my domain on the server, without setting the
class path in coldfusion administrator.
The ColdFusion application server must be configured to know
the location of the PayPal JAR
files, and your ColdFusion Markup (CFM) pages must be
configured with the absolute path to
the PayPal API certificate for the PayPal API user on whose
behalf the calls are made.
1. Install the PayPal Java SDK “Installing the
SDK”.
2. Copy a subset of the Java SDK JAR files to a location
accessible by the ColdFusion
application server. The JAR files are in SDK_root\lib and
their exact names are as
follows:
– bcmail-jdk14-128.jar
– bcprov-jdk14-128.jar
– paypal_base.jar
– paypal_stubs.jar
sax2.jar
– xerces.jar
– xpp3-1.1.3.4d_b4_min.jar
– xstream.jar-1.1.3.jar
3. With the ColdFusion Application Server Administrator, add
the absolute path of the
location you determined in Step 2 to the Java and JVM
CLASSPATH environment variable.
4. Restart the ColdFusion Application Server.
Suggest me how to include .jar files without setting
classpath.> Suggest me how to include .jar files without setting
classpath.
Copy them to {CF_HOME}\lib, where {CF_HOME} is, for example,
C:\CFusionMX7. Restart Coldfusion. -
Sender file adapter is not polling the file.
Dear all,
Sender file adapter is not polling the file.(But Receiver file adapter is getting the file)
we have installed SP15.
It was worked fine for previous SP14.
I have cheked in Adapter monioring also.
Can you help me out of this problem
Regards
DhanabalHi Dhanabal,
Is the XI system running on a unix machine ?
If yes, from the OS level for the folder you are using in the file comm. channel, execute the command
<b>chmod 777 <folder_name></b>
The reason for the file to show up in receiver side and not get deleted might be that the xi user mighht be having only read access to the folder...
Thanks,

LR4 Not Including Sidecar Files in Backup Destination
I've noticed that when I import files (NEF's) into LR4 and back them up to a second location (external hard drive) the sidecar files are included in the primary destination folder but not in the backup folder. I checked my LR3 backup folders and the same thing is happening.
I'm sure that there is an explanation for this, but I'll be @#$%^& if I know what it is. Does someone have an answer? Thanks.
I usually import "raws" directly into Lightroom from a CF card (out of a Nikon camera), so I'm not sure what program could be generating sidecar files. I've checked the cameras and they don't seem to be generating any I also specify "no adjustments" in the import dialog. The side car files are always present in the primary import location. .
This isn't a critical issue, but I sure am curious to know why it is happening.

XMP Sidecar files may exist at the time of import, either because the files were edited in Bridge/ACR or Lightroom, itself, or another XMP-creating program such as GeoSetter that can create an XMP with GPS tags in it.
Whether those XMP sidecar files should be copied to a secondary location on import remains an open question.

J2EE adapter module not getting invoked by module processor
Hi All,
i have deployed my .ear file in SDM Repository successfully.
but my J2EE adapter module is not getting invoked by module processor......this i can say because i have written code to audit log my message in the java class...but when i gave input an empty file, the audit log of that file in Message Audit Log showed only 3 Steps of file converted to XML format, no data found so not generating message, deletion of my empty file.
Can anybody suggest how to enable my J2EE adapter module as i have created this module so that if i give empty file, then in the adapter i am creating a dummy XML for my message.
Thanks and Regards,
Rajeev GuptaHi Stefan,
1. JNDI name in visual admin is CustomerMeter
2. the files in .ear file are:
libraries,
ejb project file,
META-INF folder
in ejb project file the following files are there:
ejb-j2ee-engine.xml
ejb-jar.xml
CustomerMeter.class
Please tell what to do now.
Hi Amol,
in audit log only 3 messages are coming: File converted to XML format, no data in document so not sending message, deleting of empty file.
i have given audit log statements in java class but my audit-log statements are not coming in the audit log
this means my adapter module is not getting invoked.
Please tell what to do to correct this error.
Thanks and Regards,

Sender File Adapter: Adapter Module to archive incoming file?
Dear experts,
I have ZIP files coming from an external system which a File Sender adapter picks up from the PI file system. I already added the PayLoadZipBean Module to unzip the file in order to be able to map the payload. It works fine.
Now in the tab "Processing" --> "Processing Mode" I have the option to choose "Archive" and give a path. That way I can archive them also on the PI file system.
But how could I choose an FTP location here? Can I or would I have to write an adapter module?
In case for an adapter module how do I access the incoming ZIP file? Any ideas?
Thank you for any help and best regards,
PeterHi Peter,
I'm afraid you are not fully right about the archiving. Choosing Processing Mode = Archive leads to the file being moved to a different directory once it is processed. According to SAP Help:
Processing Mode
○ Archive
Files that have been successfully processed are moved to an archive directory.
■ To add a time stamp to a file name, select the Add Time Stamp indicator.
The time stamp has the format yyyMMdd-hhMMss-SSS. The time stamp ensures that the archived files are not overwritten and it enables you to sort them according to the time that they were received.
■ Under Archive Directory, enter the name of the archive directory.
■ If you want to archive the files on the FTP server, set the Archive Files on FTP Server indicator. If you do not set the indicator, the files are archived in the Adapter Engine file system.
See here for further details:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e3/94007075cae04f930cc4c034e411e1/content.htm
Hope this helps,

Adapter Module Error-Sending excel file as an attachment of the mail
Hi ,
My scenario is as follows
1)I am sending an excel file as an attachment of the mail.I need to read that excel attachment as a payload.
So mail adapter is used in sender side.
To configure this, have used standard PayloadSwapBean module with proper module key.
Next to convert excel to XML another custom adapter module is being used.
Both this adapter module , I configured into the CC of sender mail adapter.
The order in which adapter modules are being used in the sender CC are as follows
1)localejbs/AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean
2)localejbs/MDPExcelToXMLConversion
3)sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.app/XIMailAdapterBean
MDPExcelToXMLConversion-Custom adapter module written to convert excel to xml.
I am getting the following error
exception caught during processing mail message [4899]com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException
And also,
no messages in coming MONI of PI.
Pls suggest what to do.
Thanks
AyanShabarish,
Will the ordering in which the adapter modules(In this case there are two-PayloadSwapBean & MDPExcelToXML) are appearing into Module tab of sender adapter matter?
Firstly, what is happenning
1)If I take out the custom adapter module MDPExcelToXML and put only PayloadSwapBean then it is successfully converting mail attachment into the main Payload i.e PayloadSwapBean module is working.
2)Nextly, my local code( i.e java code without including standard Module specific method like ejbActivate(),ejbPassivate(),process() etc etc.)) for MDPExcelToXML is successfuly converting the excel file into the XML file. Then I am making the local code into adapter module specific code and deploying that.
A few question arises here,
Do I need to do any specific configurations here in PI for this particular things.Maybe both the adapter module is clashing with each other.
And also using tracing and logging into my custom adapter module code.Getting the following error,
java.io.IOException: Unable to read entire header; 116 bytes read; expected 512 bytes#
Thanks

EJB project IDE build dos not include properties files
We have property files also which we want included as part of the build process
for EJB projects but if we use the IDE build it does not include them. We have
to therefore export the IDE build and customize it to include *.properties like
this
<zip basedir="${dest.path}" zipfile="${ejb.outputJar}" encoding="UTF8"> <!-- JARs
filenames are encoded UTF8 --> <zipfileset dir="${project.local.directory}" includes="*.properties"
/> </zip>
which causes a problem for us because the exported build file is specific to a
user's local PC and cannot be used in a team environment.
How can we have the IDE build include all the files within an EJB project i.e.
include properties files also.Hey Jamie,
Currently there is no support to include other .properties files into
the internal build. There's a build.properties that you get as part of
an EJB project which you could place your values into and use that as
your template for your team based development and check that into your
source control.
If you'd really like to get gross and hack Workshop a little bit you
could modify the default EJB project template to use your .properties
file for every EJB project you create. This would then splat a copy of
your .properties file into the root of the EJB project.
To do that you'd go to {your BEAHOME}\workshop\templates and crack open
the ejb-project.zip template zip file and merge your settings into the
existing build.properties file. This has the same
effect as replacing the .properties file after you've created your
project only it keeps you from having to perform that step each time.
The downside of this is that each person on your team would then have to
update that template zip file in their workshop installation. (I'd make
sure to backup the original template file before performing this
activity so you can always go back to the original template).
Hope this helps,
-Michael

MindyHi Mindy,
Why not in EJB?
Yes there is no argument as to why property files cannot be copied over from EJB
project.
The reason is that Workshop has not implemented the feature with EJBProject. We
have that feature only for Java projects and not for EJB project.
Thanks a lot,

You are saying the same thing again. My question is why not for EJB projects?
I know we can create the files in Java project and read them with specific
java
files to read them but WHY NOT IN EJB IS THE QUESTION?

Hence, we have created utility classes in Java project that read
