Add new selection field in an infoset

Hi everyone,
I have a problem changing an infoset when I add an additional field. This field is added to its respective field group.
The problem is that after generate the infoset, I go to the transaction where the querys are made and the new field created has got only a checkbox in the column 'Output', while the column 'Selection' has no checkbox.
This only happens with this field, while the rest of the fields have two checkbox in column 'Output' and in column 'Selection'.
¿What can I do to make appear checkbox 'Selection' in order to make querys?

Hi again,
I have seen the threads about ad hoc querys but I'm still with the problem...
I'm going to tell you the steps I follow.. Perhaps someone is able to tell me what I'm doing wrong...
1. I go to S_PH0_48000513 transaction where I choose the infoset which I want to make queries..
2. In sq02 transaction I click right button in 'additional fields' in the field group where I want to add the field. I click create and fill long text, header, type, length and like reference...
3. Once the field is created I add the field in the 'field group' and generate the infoset
4. In S_PH0_48000513 I can see that the field has been added with no checkbox 'Selection' but only with checkbox 'Output'...
I need checkbox 'output' and I don't know why doesn't appear...

ME59N new selection field

Hi,
I have a requirement to add new selection field in ME59N. Is there a way to code it via BADI or user exit? The BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST only allows me to change the attributes of screen fields but not add a new one.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Error message in report writer when add new selection filed?

Dear All,
I wanna add a new selection field cost element group and cost element to a report in report writer. I key in GR52 and click the general data selection. I select the set variable &1KSTAR to enter into the set ID. But it shows me the following message:
Set cannot be used in Selection:
Message no. GR807
Diagnosis
You are trying to use a set in report maintenance.
The set cannot be entered in the report definition for any of the dimensions for which the set could be used.
The following error message describes why the set cannot be used for all the dimensions for which the set can be used.
System Response
The set will not be entered in report maintenance.
Procedure
Choose an appropriate set.
What does it mean? I have tried other set variables but sitll gave the same message.

At the same time, it gave me a green light message saying:
Characteristic Cost Element is already used in a row
Message no. GR465
Diagnosis
The characteristic Cost Element is already being used in a report row block and therefore cannot be used in a different part of the report.
Technical note: The field name for characteristic Cost Element is KSTAR.
Does it mean I have used the cost element in the report and blocked the cost element so that I can't use it in the selection screen? How can I solve this by not changing the report or should I change the report?

Hi,
I presume you are talking about a report display in ALV and u wish to add a column to it .
If it is a global requirement ,as in table being used there in ALV can be modified, then you can append the table and the system should pick up the same automatically from there.
Otherwise , you can make a Z program . Modify the catalog being used in ALV.

No, I won't explain it in detail - you need to read the documentation and at least make an attempt at the process on your own first. The documentation is right there in the IMG where I said it was but here's the path since you can't find it:

You can find enhancement in me28 by following steps and then apply your logic in include of this enhancement.
cmod>Give a project name>in enhancement column give the package name ME >f4>in package write ME-->ENTER>It will show you all enhancements available in me28> find which ever suits your requirement>save > click on components> from there you can make changes in include program.to add that particular field.

As u have to modify the standard program directly not any customer exit or badi , for sales order transactions like va01 va02 , va03 , va51 etc..., so u need a developer key as a developer that is common for any program u write for the first time witha new userid + u need a standard sap access key also .

Due to 0RT_VENDP_TEXT datasource has 3 keys (Language key, Vendor, Vendor Sub-Range) but 0RT_VENDP has 2 keys (Language key, Vendor Sub-Range) that maybe duplicate when 2 vendor have same Vendor Sub-Range code

Usually the vendor subrange (IS-R) should not have the double descriptions. Please check the Vendor subrange information below.
vendor subrange (IS-R):
A subdivision of the full range of products offered by a vendor (e.g. the Henkel company has the subranges "adhesives" and "washing powder").
Individual conditions apply for each individual subrange. If a vendor has subranges, each item offered by the vendor must be assigned to the appropriate subrange to enable the system to correctly determine the conditions for the subrange.

Would like to know if it is possible to add new screen fields to the cloned version of /dsd/sl_cockpit.
I cloned the original transaction /dsd/sl_cockpit into a diff. name, now I want to know how I can include/ add those new fields to this transaction. It looks like the screen is dynamically built using Standard ABAP classes. Need help.

Go to se38 -> RMMR1MRS(program for MMRL) -> display
Check for
ENHANCEMENT-POINT rmmr1mrs_02 SPOTS es_rmmr1mrs STATIC.
Create a spot...click on the spiral icon..screen changes..place cursor on ENHANCEMENT-POINT keyword of the spot mentioned...righ click -> "ehhancement implementation -> "create" -> a table control comes -> at the bottom "CREATE" button to be clicked" ...give a name and text in customer name space and save -> select the name in the table control ..you will get a space where code can be written
Write your select-options code here..it will come on the screen
Although you have added it here..you need to filter the same somewhere..search the program for an enhancement point where a code can be used to filter the data before displaying on the screen
What is mentioned above is a sample for adding to first block..if you need to add elsewhere search for the correct enhancement point to create your code....

We enter value to the 'selection set' field in J4AR to display access rules . We select the access rule and press the change or create button. it goes to the dynamic selection screen. We need to add another field(Delivery date in the sales order line item) to this dynamic selection screen.
