Add sales organisation to existing material

Hi.
I need to expand the sales organisation for an already existing material. I knew the process but have not used it in a while so now it's forgotten but I know it is possible.
Any clues?
Ryan

Dear Ryan
Go to MM01, give the existing material code and also in "Copy from".  Now select the "Organisational levels" tab so that you can see a comparative screen wherein on the left side you have to define in which sales organization, you would like to create the material.  Enter the same and save.
Thanks

You can only add a sales view to a material if the material type customizing allows sales views in general.
you certainly cannot create a sales view for a single material if the material type does not allow sales views.

  • Changing Sales Organisation for Materail

    Hi,
What is the t-code to change the Sales Organisation for the material
    Regards
    Smitha

In MM02, enter the material for which you want to change the sales org. Select the view "External objects" and once you are there, click on "Organizational Levels" button (just beside the additional data button on the top). There you have the option of changing the sales org.

  • Material master deletion for a particular sales organisation

    Hi,
I want to delete all the material master which are created in a particular sales organisation.
Means user should be able to create sales order with that material nor user able to bill the existing sales order of that material.
    Regards,
    SATYA

    Hi,
First open the material master with the Sales organization you want to block. Go to Sales:Sales org. 1 View.
    (1) In X_ distribution Chain status field enter the value "12- sales not allowed"
(2)D.Chain-Spec Status field , enter the value "12- sales not allowed".
Enter the Valid from Date against both the above mentioned fields from when you do not want to bill for that particular Material for a sales organization.

  • How to disable delivering plant for sales organisation and material

    HI
We usually deliver via 2 delivering plants and changing them via MM02 according to availability Theese 2 delivering plants are connected  with many sales organisations
It  is possible to disable delivering plant for some products to specific sales organisation , so that customer service is not able to order a this material from a plant for this sales organisation? Other sales organisation should be still able to order the product  from that plant.
I can imagine to block the whole delivering plant for a material. But how is possible to do so on the level of sales organisarion-material-plant?
    Thanks a lot
    Sona

With standard, it is not possible.  You can try with USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in the program MV45AFZB

    Hi,
    You can use table
MABW - Management of Differently Maintained Material Data in Retail
    or a combination of
MARD and MVKE - where MARD gives Storage Location and MVKE gives the Sales Organization of the material number

  • Can sales organisation be cancelled in a material master

I  am working for a foreign client where i have extended material in a wrong sales organization . Now i want to lock the material for that sales organization only , so that no changes can be done to the material master using the aforesaid distribution chain , no sales order , and billing can  generate using the material with the wrong distribution chain.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sanjib

    Hello Sanjib,
I suggest that in order to avoid of any sales order for that material with respect to sales organisation, you need to activate total BAN under distribution status.
Check whether if you maintain sale statuses and if not You need to first define sales statuses under folowing customization path:
    SPRO>>Logistics - General>>Material Master>>Settings for Key Fields>>Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution>>Define Sales Statuses
Then,Go to MM02>>Enter the material number & Plant
    Now go to Sales organisation View-1;
Enter your relevant sales organisation and under DChain-spec. status mark it for Total Ban and fill the valid from Date there
So that no sales order will be created for this material with respective to that relavant sales organisation

  • How to create CRM only Sales Organisation?

    Hello all,
We have downloaded our org model from R/3. We want to extend our org model in CRM with a sales organisation which does not exist in R/3. This should be possible as CRM can run stand alone but we cannot figure out how.
    Does anybody have any suggestions?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Boris

    Hello Boris
You can just add organisations (in tx ppoma_crm) to the root unit and also to lower ones in the hierarchy via right mouseclick. If some of these units are mapped to the R/3 organisation model you can do that under the tabs Function and Attributes (depending on the way your org model is set up) by assigning sales orgs, distribution channels and divisions.
You can also drag & drop existing units (read downloaded ones from R/3) there.
Keep in mind that attributes are inherited from higher org units to lower ones.
In org data determination you can then refer to all org units marked as 'relevant for determination' in the attributes tab.
    Regards, Kai
PS: BTW, it is possible to have additional sales orgs marked as VKORG or VKBUR in CRM in addition to the ones exchanged with R/3 and the exchange still works. This scenario is useful i.e. when you have divisions selling 3rd party products not handled in the backend R/3.
    (EDIT: PS. added)

  • Sales organisation is not defined.

    Hi every one,
    i made one intercompany cycle.
my process from sales order to delivery to billing is completed.
but when i am creating intercompany bill with refrence to delivery document.
its giving an that sales organisation is not defined.
because of this i am not able to create intercompany bill.
so any body can help me out to solve this problem

    Hi,
There are a couple of settings to be taken care of..
Assume, 0001/01/01 is your delivering Sales Org with 0001 as the Plant. 0002/02/02 is the ordering Sales org with Plant 0002.
    1. The internal Customer must be created in 0001/01/01 sales area with delivering plant as 0001. This customer should be assigned to 0002 sales org.
    2. The Plant 0001 ahould be assigned to 0002/02/02 ssales area.
    3. The material must exist in both 0001 and 0002 Plant/storage.
    4. End customer should be created with 0002/02/02 sales area and Delivering Plant as 0001.
Not you raise a sales order for the end customer in 0002/02/02 and select the delivering plant as 0001.
It should work. Revert back if you have any issues.
check all the settings u did or not.

  • How to flow the sales organisation from R/3 to CRM

    Hi,
I have created a new Sales organisation, sales office in R/3 inaddition to existing sales organisations, and various sales offices.

  • Business area and Sales organisation

Can any 1 of u tell me the difference btw Business area and Sales organisation

    Dear Venkata Krishnan
Business areas are primarily used to facilitate external segment reporting across company codes, covering the company's main areas of operation (product lines, branches).
You can assign all balance sheet items, such as fixed assets, receivables, payables, and material stock, as well as the entire P&L statement directly to business areas. You can only assign banks, equity, and taxes manually to business areas indirectly. For this reason, it is not possible to create the legally-required financial statements and tax reports at business area level. Financial statements at business area level are therefore only suitable for internal reporting.
Sales Organisation is an organizational unit subdividing an enterprise according to the requirements of Sales. It is responsible for selling materials and services.
A sales organization can be subdivided into several distribution chains which determine the responsibility for a distribution channel.
Several divisions can be assigned to a sales organization which is responsible for the materials or services provided.
A sales area determines the distribution channel used by a sales organization to sell a divisionu2019s products.

Are you trying to replicate an existing materialized view called "departments_mv1" ? That is what the implication of the arguments you are supplying.
If it is an MV, you have to supply the DDL (in the DDL_TEXT) as well.

  • Assignment of plant to sales organisation and distribution channel

    Hi,
What is the use of assignment of plant to sales organisation and distribution channel.
    thanks
    Kuntla

    Hi Kuntla,
Please don't get offended. Your explanation is purely irrelevant. If I don't want to record from which plant the material has been sent and hence if I don't make the delivering plant assignment - what will be result. Can I create the sales order and make delivery. Is it possible. This  is one of the important assignments in SD configuration. I don't find fault in posting your reply. It is only for your response to others' replies to the thread. You can do this to their personal mail ids. Otherwise this will become a practice in this forum. Please take this in a positive angle.
    Thanks,

  • Pricing Procedure - Assignment to a new Sales Organisation

    Dear Gurus,
Can you explain to me how I can extend or copy the pricing procedures which exist within an organization to another one. Typically, I need to extend all pricing procedures from a company located and operating in Bulgaria to another one operating and located in Romania.
The only difference that will occur will be the currency which will be set-up by my FI guys.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards
    Chris.

    Hi,
    Goto OVKK T.Code.
    The path is:
    SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Pricing>Pricing control>Define and assign Pricing Procedures>Define Pricing Procedure Determination.
Select your existing sales organisation entry and click on copy.
    Maintain your sales organisation here.Save.
Maintain your Currency entry in VK11 T.Code or maintain the exchange rate for these.
Exchange rate can be maintained by using the T.Code OB08 or by the path:
    SPRO>Project System>Costs-->Maintain CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATES.
In any way you can achieve your requirement.
    Regards,
    Krishna.
