Save a Logo using Paintshop Pro or Corel Draw as Tiff file. Use RSTXLDMC to convert the logo to standard text in SapScript. When the program is executed, the path and file name have to be correctly specified.
Process could be like the following: Run RSTXLDMC Enter file name C:\MAIL\COMPLOGO.TIF Resolution for Tiff file Absolute X-position Absolute Y-position Absolute positioning Reserved height Shift to right UOM = CM Text title Line width for text = 132 Text name ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO Text ID ST Text language = E Postscript scaling Width & Height according to PS scaling Number of Tiff gray levels (2,4,9) 2 Then Create a new window 'COMP' with attributes; Window COMP description Company Logo Window type CONST Left margin 7.00 CH window width 10.00 CH Upper margin LN window height 8.00 LN
Finally in the text element , mention /: INCLUDE 'ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO' OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE 'E'.
Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX...', the logo may not be printed!
You will not be able to see the logo in a test print. The same will be printed in actual printout.

In se78 in graphics select the picture what ever you want and then press the transport button that is available on the top. then that will come into sap list that one we can use in the sap scripts.
Upload the logo in BMP or TIFF format in SE78.
To print a Logo, follow the steps below :
Built a Logo. This file can be a bit map or windows meta file.
Convert the Logo to a TIFF ( extension TIF ) file.
Use program RSTXLDMC to convert the TIF file to a standard text.
Print this standard text via SAPscript INCLUDE command.
e.g. /: INCLUDE ZHEX-IBMLOGO-PCL OBJECT TEXT ID ST

Triggering an event on a picture created with LV Scripting

Hi,
I have a VI that is creating a scripted VI with a couple of pictures in it, opens the front panel and executes the scripted VI. Now I want to trigger an event by clicking on one of the pictures. I thought I might be able to do that using the mouse modifiers property node, but it looks like the VI does not react on events on the scripted VI's front panel.
If anyone had any idea on how to proceed I would really appreciate it.

Not sure I fully understand what you're trying to do, maybe if you post some code it would get clearer.
What sort of "picture" is on the scripted VI's front panel? A picture control of simply an image place on the front panel (that would then be a FP decoration).
If you want to generate a programatic mouse click, you can do it using user32.dll, see this :
Or if the scripted VI is running and has an event structure set to catch a mouse click on a certain FP control, maybe you could simply open a ref to that FP control and use a value (signaling) property node so that the event catches it.

Save it as an Image and print like a logo in the scripts
To create a logo in SAP printouts just do the following
1. Save a Logo using Imaging, Paint shop Pro or Corel Draw as Tiff file.
2. Run program RSTXLDMC and enter the following parameters
   Enter file name                     C:\COMPLOGO.TIF
   UOM                          CM
    Line width for text                132
    Text name                     ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO
    Text ID                          ST
    Text language = E
    Number of Tiff gray levels (2,4,9) 2
3. Then Create a new window 'COMP' with attributes;
Window COMP description Company Logo
Left margin 7.00 CH window width 10.00 CH
Upper margin LN window height 8.00 LN
Finally in the text element, mention
        /: INCLUDE 'ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO' OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE 'E'.
Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX... the logo may not be printed!
You will not be able to see the logo in a test print. The same will be printed in actual printout.

The svg file was 320kb now it' apx. 6mb ...
how to get the file smaller?

You can scale down images to make the file sizes lighter.
Are you using the Clipping Frame (Insert > Media Objects > Clipping Frame) to add images to your file? If so, follow these steps to resize an image. If you are just working with an image in the workspace, without the clipping frames, just use steps 5 and 6 to downsample an image.
1. Double-click on a clipping frame image to enter into editing mode. The percentage indicator on the sliding magnification bar will tell you if the source image is large (12% is a very large image!).
2. Ensure the image is selected and click the Copy button.
3. Exit image editing mode by returning to the Sheet level by clicking in the document breadcrumb.
4. Paste the image into the document. It will be very big on the stage.
5. Scale down the down to a smaller size by grabbing a corner handle and scaling the image, or using Transform and adjusting the WIDTH AND HEIGHT percentages. (Conveniently, if you input 12% into the Width or Height box (while keeping the Lock Aspect Ratio option selected) the image scales down to the same size as the clipping frame you were using previously.)
6. Double-click the image again to enter into Bitmap Image mode and select Transform > Downsample to Screen.
7. Select the image and click the Copy button, then delete the image from the stage.
8. Double-click to get back into your clipping frame.
9. Select the image already in the frame, and delete it.
10. Click the Paste button to insert the new image into the clipping frame. It should display a better percentage such as 98 or 100%.
11. Save the file. You should find the file size to be much smaller now.
OK, looking over that now it is quite the list of things to do to optimize images for the screen. Hopefully there will be an easier way to downsample or optimize images for screen and print in the next coming releases.

How to create a single action for adding a border and signature for portrait AND landscape images???

i would love to be able to create a single photoshop action for adding a border, plus a signature in the bottom right corner, that works for both portrait and landscape images.
need i say more?!
i already have an action that adds a signature in the centre of the border at the bottom of the image e.g. the image below. what i want though is for that signature to be on the RHS and for the same action to work for portrait images as well.
supplementary info: reason for this is that I want to be able to export 300 wedding images (mix of landscape and portrait images) from lightroom in my pre-selected order (meaning the files are labelled from 001 to 300, ordered according to how the wedding day unfolded) and then use PS to add the border and the signature, in the same place, and for it to work for both orientations.
i need this to work for full sized exported jpeg images, i.e. i want the files that i give on CD to my clients to include my signature in this manner. so I don't want to copy the initial layer and then reduce the second layer size to leave a border around the second layer.
i hope i've been clear and that someone can help me here. I think that this sort of presentation makes such a difference to final printed image, and I DONT want to have to go to all 300 images picking out the landscape from portrait ones (although this may be what I have to do and wouldn't really take that long but surely there's a better way!!!!).

It is actually quite easy to do if you have a good understanding of how Photoshop works. To be able to handle any size Landscape and Portrait you need to scale the document to a known width or height. Once the document is resized to the width or height it easy. When yot resize the document you use Image size with resample NOT checked. Not a single image pixels is changed all the happens is the documents DPI is set to the proper DPI resolution to print that size. This lets you add a border sized for and document. You can use Canvas Size check relative and leatve the anchor point centered and set width and height to 2" this will add 1"on all sides. Use Canvas size a second time move the anchor point to the top center check relative and set height 1" the will add an additional 1" border on the bottom. You then record a text layer with your Name title or what ever to the top left of the image. Select all ant the align the text layer to the selection to move it to the bottom right.
Adding a couple of scripts to the action you can make sure there is a background layer so the added canvas will be filled with pixels. You can restore the document to its original DPI resolution to retain the images print size. Down load my crafting actions package it contains a dozen scripts to be used within actions. There are text file with tips and guidelines additionaly there is one on dealing with document size and includes a sample action set with a watermarking action the can watermark and size image. This is the Leopard Mail topic... the problem I had with answering your question is that you have not updated you Public Profile to show that you are using a version of Leopard. So I was guessing. Your profile (at the bottom of the message) shows you are running Tiger.
I went to my copy of Mail and checked again, and in the preferences I click on Signatures, then create a new signature, then dragged a jpg from my desktop into the area where you type the text of your signature. I get a "plus" sign as I'm dragging in the picture, and when I release the mouse, the picture is added to the signature.

Unrecognized Lync contact opens when sip address added in the outlook signature block

I have added my sip address into my outlook signature block. Why does an inactive contact conversation opens, if I click on the link in the signature? It looks, like my profile in Lync, with the same picture and name, but the presence cannot be recognized,
thus a Lync message cannot be sent.

If you want to open the IM conversation windows of you when others clicking the signature, you can use the following command-line parameter:

IMovie - adding a picture (without black frame below) in the very bottom of a video

Hello iMoviers,
I'd like to add a picture on top of a movie. As far as I understand this can be done by using iMovie's picture-in-picture feature. The picture, however, is centered in a black frame.
1) How can I position the picture on the ver bottom of the video, so that there's no black frame below or let's say the picture is not centered anymore?
2) How can I get rid of the black frames and instead have the video placed below shining through? I saw some green screen approaches, but it seemed to be very tedious workaround.

depends on the version of iM you're using:
in older versions, the pic-in-pic was limited: it allowed only to insert content with the same aspect-ratio as the project itself = 16.9 .... if the pic was square, iM added 'borders' to make it fit.
Work-around:
make your pics 16:9 by adding transparency, read this in the UseR Tipp section of this board:

or, update to latest iMovie10 ....
here, a diff. aspect ratio of pic has no 'borders' -effect; .....

I see some with pictures in their signature files. How did they add them. In my settings I can't find anywhere to upload a picture or a link as a signature.

To post an image in  Discussions, create a Screen Shot of the image you wish to post.
Upload the image to an online storage facility, like one of these linked to below.
Flickr
ImageShack
PhotoBucket
PICVAULT
Twango
tinypic
imageno
Then use HTML formatting, to insert the URL of the location.
Use this format <img src="Insert URL Here">
Post the resulting line of text.
You can alternately insert the URL of the image between ! (Exclamation Marks) to have it appear in a post.
Keep the images small, and unobtrusive, when possible.
If the image is large, you can use this format:
<a href="Insert URL Here"target="_blank"><img src="Insert Same URL Here" width="Insert Desired Size Here"></a>
Desired Size is a number, dependent on the size to be displayed in the post, such as 20, 50, 200, etc. You can experiment with that number.
Below that type "Click to View Full Size".
The image will appear in the post at the size you selected, but when clicked, will open full screen.
You can also just post a Link/URL, to the image location, using this format:
<a href="Insert URL Here">Type Title Here</a>
Or use Skitch.

Image conversion failed adding profile picture

I just finished my first test install of a Basic Teaming 2.0 site on SLES 11 64bits with SUN's JDK v. 1.6.0_17 and MySql 5.1.39, which went ok. However, when I login and try to add a picture to a profile an X-like image is diplayed instead and I get the following error in the ssf.log file:
WARN [http-8080-2] [com.novell.teaming.docconverter.impl.ImageStellent Converter] - Image conversion failed for testpic.gif: (127) Can't find resource for bundle com.outsideinsdk.ExportResources, key 127
I have not been able to find any info about this in the Doc or forums.
Any ideas?

I got your email and as you suspected, your image works fine on a system
that does work.
You mention a "conversion failure". What kind of visual indication are
you getting of that failure? Is anything at all getting posted to the
catalina.out log?

Adding extra output modules in AE script

Hi,
Is it possible to add extra output modules to a render queue item using an AE script? I can't seem to find the functionality in the guide, and OMCollection is read-only so I can't add using standard array functions.
I need additional output modules on each render queue item to render plates for my CG department - for example the default output module will be assigned a full-resolution TIFF sequence for the camera tracker, and the second output module will be assigned a half-resolution JPEG sequence for the animation team.
If this functionality isn't included, would someone please explain why?
I'm developing at home in CS3 at the moment, but the target version is CS5 at work - I've not rechecked the release notes yet but don't recall this being added after CS3.

The add() function is listed on page 186 of the guide in the summary, but is not listed as being one of OMCollection's functions on page 104 (in fact it says that there are no functions for OMCollection above what it inherits from Collection.
