Adding Custom fields to SRM Item Data tab & Account Assignment Tab

Hi Everyone,
We have got a small requirement to add 2 custom fields in SRM Shopping cart.
Need to add a input field, which should act just like Requisitioner in ECC. ( F4 help ).This will allow to create shopping cart on behalf of some one.
Need to add input field, which resembles Goods Recipient in ECC ( Free text)
After adding custom fields, how do i ensure that, it's mapped to right field in ECC.I spent much browsing SRM forum, but couldn't gather much information. I understood that, this involves configuration in SPRO.
Any information or help in any kind would be really helpful.

    I am having some trouble with adding custom fields to the SRM 5.0 portal Shopping Cart.
    I know that in order to have the custom fields appear, you first need to add them to the INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF & INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC tables.
    However, how do you control where the fields appear in the SC portal? I know that BADI bbp_cuf_badi_2 exists, but it doesn't allow you to place the fields where you want them to appear. Can you use screen variants for custom fields?

  • Adding custom fields on SC item level

    Hi All,
    I appended 3 customer fields in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
    Shall i append those three fields in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF ?
    Will it create subscreen automatically in SRM7.0?
    Please give me any suggesstion.

    Customer fields are added automatically to standard dynpro using dedicated subscreen.

  • Sales order no and line item no in account assignment tab of line item no.

    Hi All,
    When we display a sales order and go to line item --> Account assignment tab --> we can see sales order no and line item no in that screen. We want to know from where this existing no. in that field is populating from.
    We want to know this as we want to check feasibility of changing sales order and item no to maintenance contract no and line item no. ( Maintenance contract we have to pick from notification)
    If anybody has any idea about this do let me know as this is urgent requirment.

    You mean Accounting assignment tab-->In Settlement rule details
    If yes the order number which is coming in that field Sales order and for which sale order you are looking that details both are the same numbers(i.e Nothing but sales order number).
    When you create sales order system will give number of the sales order the number will come in this place.

  • Need a Userexit for ME51N, ME52N to access data in Account Assignment Tab

    Hi,
    I am currently using Enhancement MEREQ001, EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005 to check line item data and display an error message.   That works fine.   My need now is to access the Order Number entered under the Account Assignment tab.
    The import parameter IM_DATA_NEW does not contain this info.   Can anyone please let me know if there is an exit that can be used to access the order number from the screen?

    First of All, you have to get the information about item, so yo have to call the next method:
    DATA: lv_acc_list TYPE mmpur_accounting_list.
    CALL METHOD im_req_item->if_acct_container_mm~get_items
          RECEIVING
            re_items = lv_acc_list.
    Secondly you must do loop to this table, and call another method for get the information about Account Assigment:
    data: lv_model TYPE REF TO if_accounting_model_mm,
       LOOP AT lv_acc_list INTO ls_acc.
          lv_model = ls_acc-model.
          CALL METHOD lv_model->get_exkn
            RECEIVING
              re_exkn = lv_exkn.
    In variable lv_exkn you have the values.
    I hope it runs ok.

  • SRM 7.0 -Adding Custom fields in Contract Item screen at particular positn

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to add new custom fields in the Contract Item screen at required position, in Left and right side container.
    We have tried the following methods but have not been able to achieve the same. Kindly help!
    1) Added new field in Context through enhancemnt in the Details screen View of Contract , Binded the field to the field in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR and add the field to teh Layout - Using this method, The field is not saved to the table.
    2) Added the field to meta data table /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC - This is positionng the field on teh right container at the bottom. We want to position it on left side.
    Kindly help to understand where we are going wrong.

    Hi Prasuna,
    Sorry ..You are right..I was looking at some other WDC related to contract data..It you map the CUFs to /SAPSRM/S_CLL_CTR_ITEM which has the include structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR then it should work fine.
    If you do this, are you able to view the new fields on the screen?
    you mentioned that you are not able to save the data to the table.
    Include your fields in INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF as well because if you add CUF to any of those doc types, you also have to add those CUF to the global structure for CUF documents.
    Also Check if you fields are there in structures BBPS_CTR_CUF_ITEM,BBPS_CTR_UI_ITEM and BBPS_CTR_ITEM.
    Check whether you have implemented the BADI's like BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI ,BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI . check out the structures (whether they having the CUFS) used in those if you have implemented any of them .

    I have to add custom fields at item level in transaction VA01/VA02.
    Is  access key required to add fields to additional data screen i.e 8459 ?

    Hi,
    Generally through the INCL_EEW* structures,you can add the custom fields for the Bid Item only under the BASIC DATA tab.If you want to show up a field on the Item overview screen,then this will need std code modification(screen modification) or  need to  modify the HTML template for the BID item overview screen in the ITS service BBP_QUOT which will need lot of HTML expertise.

  • Adding custom fields to SRM UI Add-on

    Dear SAP Experts,
    We enabled SRM UI and followed the SAP provided configuration guide to complete all the required setup's. we are able to create shopping cart using the new UI without any issues.
    Now we are trying to enable custom fields on new SRM UI which are currently available on Web dynpro SC UI. we followed the configuration steps (2.1 Extending screens via SPRO configurations) provided in the Extensibility-Customer_CookBook_SP04_1.pdf.
    After the configuration is completed, we are able to see the new custom fields on the new UI screen, but we are not seeing the description as expected - the description is shown as VIEWKEY_FieldName_L eventhough we maintained the label text.
    And also any data that is entered in the new custom fields are not saved to database and therefore not available in BBP_PD transaction.
    Please see the attached screenshot for more details.Please provide your guidance in resolving the issue.

    Venkat, We are trying to enhance the UI5 Shopping Cart using Extensibility-Customer_CookBook_SP04_1.pdf but I don't see the fields showing up in UI5 shopping cart and below are the steps that I followed.
    I am trying to add Location field in SRMShoppingCartItem (2nd row in below screen shot)
    I enhanced the Staging Structure (/SRMNXP/S_CUST_ITEM_LIST) , Customer Include (​INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC) & Cust-MD Structure (/SRMNXP/S_ITEM_UI_MET_CUST) and went to SPRO and did this config for adding fields to UI screen.
    SAP Supplier Relationship Management---->SAP SRM User Interface Add-on---->Extension and Field Controls---->Configuration for Extension of Fields
    I didn't add column to database and Odata Service Model. My Goal is to show Location Field first on the  SRMShoppingCartItem and then want to enhance Database & OdataModel.
    Below are the Steps I followed.
    1) Enhanced Staging Structure :  /SRMNXP/S_CUST_ITEM_LIST
    Appended the Component Type : ZCUSTITEMLIST with Field ZLOCATION of Type Char20
    2) Enhanced  Customer Include ​INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC
    Appended the Component Type : ZAINCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC with Field ZLOCATION of Type Char20
    3) Enhanced Cust-MD Structure  /SRMNXP/S_ITEM_UI_MET_CUST
    Appended the Component Type : ZITEMUIMETCUST with Field ​ZLOCATION_V, ZLOCATION_E, ZLOCATION_R of Type XFELD
    4)  SPRO
      SAP Supplier Relationship Management---->SAP SRM User Interface Add-on---->Extension and Field Controls---->Configuration for Extension of Fields

    But I don't see this Location field  showing up in the UI5 Shopping Cart. Please let me know if I am missing any thing in Configuration.

    1)goto to tcode SE24 give the CL_EXITHANDLER and display and then double click on the GET_INSTANCE
    keep Break point at this location 'call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface'
    then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.
    2)Goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that program will display's
    then  press crtl+F then cl_exithandler

  • Component configurator issue - Account assignment tab for SC in SRM 7.0

    Hello Experts,
      We have to disable some fields from account assignment tab of SC. We have identified the webdynpro application as /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_ACC. We started the component configurator /SAPSRM/WDCC_ACC_DEF_SC and under the view V_DO_ACCOUNTING made the fields "DISTR_INDICATOR" and "COPY_TO_CLIP" as invisible.
      The problem is that these fields are still visible in the account assignment tab of the shopping cart.
      Do we need to do any other follow-up activity to disable the fields? Please guide.

    An easier way to hide the two elements for you is to enhance the view "V_DO_ACCOUNTING" and remove the drop down and the button. Save and activate the enhancement.

    We have done the following to display GL account text in ME51N & ME21N
    We registered the SAP Object: R3TR FUGR MEACCTVI for our SAP Release: 701.
    - In SE51, we added the field text_sakto to screen 1100 (Single Account Assignment) in program SAPLMEACCTVI.
    - Via SE80, we added the following code to the flow logic of screen 1100 under PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT: MODULE fill_text_sakto in the function group MEACCTVI.
    - Within the MODULE fill_text_sakto we added the following code:
    FORM FILL_TEXT_SAKTO .
    SELECT SINGLE txt20 INTO text_sakto
    FROM skat
    WHERE spras eq sy-langu
    AND saknr eq MEACCT1100-SAKTO.
    ENDFORM.

  • Adding custom fields to shopping cart in SRM 7.0

    Hi My dear Experts,
    I am having big doubt also a lot of confussion as per my understanding regarding adding custom fields to SC.
    I believe,
    i) It can be achieved by configuration in spro with respect to Meta data frame.
    i,e  Configure field control->configure control for fields on Header/Item level
    after that
    configure customer fields->Define cistomer fields on Header/Item level.
    ii) I also doubt fields can be added through Webdynpro enhancement of standard component.
    Pls clarify my doubt with little detail which is the best way to achieve my requirement ??
    Is Webdynpro Enhancement  really needed ??

       Example for  Adding fields in SC accounting Tab ...follow the below example
    1. Add custom field ZZTESTACCT  in   structure   INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF by  using  append structure.
    2. Spro ->Supplier Relationship Management u2192 SRM Server u2192 Cross application basic settings u2192 Extensions and field controls (personalization) u2192 Configure field control ->Configure Control for Fields of Substructures
    then click on  "Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements"
    add the below entry
    Bus. Object Set Type  : 31
    Structure Field Name  : ZZTESTACCT
    Bus. Object Type       : BUS2121
    Set Level                    : Item
    Field Visible :  Check box should be checked
    Field Enable :  check box should be checked
    if you create the above entry then you can see ZZTESTACCT field in the accounting tab.
    Second point :
    WD_BADI_DOMODIFYVIEW  is a Badi you can implement this badi for the WD component and View to handle the UI elements.

    I was going through a document which instructs on how to add a custom field at line item level in SRM 7.0.

    This speaks about the status of the Cart. This means that the Status of the Cart is AWAITING APPROVAL...I dont know which document you have gone through but procedure for adding a Custom Field in SRM 7.0 is:
    1. Create a Custom field in the Database in SRM. Preferrably add the field in an include and extend thta include to the table in SE11.
    2. Go to Portal Login of SRM and right click the part of the screen where you want to add the custom field. Click on More Field Help. The popup will give you the name of WebDynpro Applicaiton which controls that area.
    3. Login to SRM via GUI and display the webdynpro application using SE80. Enhance the Webdynpro application.
    4. Add the custom field to the Context of the WebDynpro Application View. You will be selecting the field from the database table while adding the custom field to the context
    5. Add the field at the specified place in Layout Tab of the WebDynpro View,
    6. Create a binding between the Layout Field and the Context
    7. Activate the changes.... you will see the field in Portal login of SRM....

  • Adding Custom Field to Shopping Cart and PO, Classic Scenario

    We are running SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 as the backend and using the Classic scenario. I want to add a custom field to the shopping cart and have the data transfer over to a custom field (of the same name) on the purchase order to the ECC side. I have already added the field to the shopping cart and have the data saving successfully there on the SRM side. What I am having trouble with is getting the data from the custom field to go over to ECC on the purchase order.
    I have extended the Shopping Cart and Purchase Order item structures through configuration on SRM. This has added the fields to the INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_PO structures, as described in note 672960 (do i need to extend the PO structure on SRM if using the Classic scenario?). I have also extended the CI_EKPODB and CI_EKPODBX structures on ECC as described in note 458591. So the placeholders are there.
    I feel like there must be something I am missing. The OSS note 458591 suggests that just adding the fields to the needed structures will cause the data to transfer, but this does not appear to be the case.
    I have an implementation of BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW that I can use, but do not see where to add the data in the output parameters of that BADI. Is there a BADI I need to implement on the ECC side?
    Any help in this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    In BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW I had to add some code to fill in the CS_PO1_DOCUMENT-EXTENSIONIN parameter table with the structure for the BAPI_TE_MEPOITEM structure on the ECC side. The tricky part is creating a string representation of that structure with the correct offset. And it isn't as easy as just counting up the number of characters in SE12. For example, looking at my BAPI_TE_MEPOITEM structure in SE12, my custom field appears to start on character 157, but in reality, I had to offset the writing of my value to character 143. I guess it depends on what types are in there.
    But once that gets figured out, it works well. As long as the custom field is added correctly to the CI_EKPODB append structure (which is appended to BAPI_TE_MEPOITEM), the data gets tranferred over in the ExtensionIn table, and SAP automatically knows what to do with the data as long as you have everything in ExtensionIn aligned correctly.
