Adding multiple choice to an email form

One or more of the fields has to contain multiple choices. EG: How did you hear about us? the filed would expnd to expose the chices like, Website, Friend, Newspaper Ad, Magazine Ad and Other for example?

We have a requirement to print multiple product details in mail forms. I see that in a seperate business role - 'SPL', the option to print product table is given. But there are fixed attributes that can be printed. We need to print custom attributes defined at the product level also in the mail forms. Anyone having any idea on this

I don’t fully understand what the situation really is here. Mail would complain the way you describe only if both mail accounts have the same User Name, but in that case both mail accounts are actually the same and you shouldn’t be trying to set up them both in Mail as independent accounts.
What identifies a mail account are the User Name and the Incoming Mail Server, not the Email Address. Multiple email addresses associated with the same mail account are called aliases. Type alias in Mail Help’s search box for more information on how this works in Mail if that’s what you want to do.

Multiple Choices RE: Website Builder Forms

Website Builder at Verizon has forms you can add. On one element, a drop down box of choices you can edit the nature of the drop down. At that area you can check "accept multiple choices" or something close to that. I have that checked but the only choice that gets submitted is the last choice highlighted. What am I doing wrong. I appreciate any help and I will work on it some more in the mean time. Thanks! Jack

I tried everything talked about on this thread however here's my issue. I need to do three levels of cascading selections.
Table 1: Country
Table 2: State ( has a one to many relationship between Country and State based on foreign keys)
Table 3: City ( has a one to many relationship between State and City based on foreign keys)
Table 4: District ( has a one to many relationship between City, and District based on foreign keys)
I can cascade user list choice inputs between Country and State (VO 1).
I can also cascade user list choices between State and City (VO 2).
I can also cascade user list choices between City and District (VO 3).
How do I cascade list user choices between VO1 and VO2? Based on the choices selected from the user in VO1, I want to cascade the selection to VO2. etc.

Adding multiple signatures in one interactive form

Hi, I'm creating an insertion form for a client. THey have one area under credit card info that has a signature line, and another spot at the bottom of the form that has another field for a signature.
When I bring the PDF into acrobat Pro and do the form wizard, it only makes one of these boxes have the red tag/signature look to insert a digital signature. My clients wants both signature boxes to have this feature.
I can not figure out how to do this. please help.

After you've added the form fields, including the signature fields and have the form working like it should, it needs to be Reader-enabled in Acrobat. How this is done depends on which version of Acrobat you're using. This thread has more information: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4896660
This enabling really should be done by your client with their licensed version of Acrobat Pro, not yours. It's an Acrobat licensing issue, actually several issues.
In any case, the resulting file is a PDF, the same as what you're working with now.
Another thing to consider is that if the form is intended to be used by the general public, most won't have any experience with using digital signatures. An alternative is to use Adobe's new EchoSign service, which does not use digital signature fields but instead uses an electronic signature (e-sig) process which does not rely on the form being Reader-enabled, so there are no Acrobat licensing issues. But there is a fee associated with the EchoSign service. Digital/Electronic signatures are not free.
Then there are legal issues that need to be considered. EchoSign may have an advantage here, at least over the use of self-signed certificates as are most commonly used with digital signature fields. Even if I knew more details about the form and intended workflow, I can't provide you any specific advice about this.

Multiple choices when creating a form

Hi all! I thought I had this figured out, but it's I can't get it to work. I'm using Acrobat 9 Pro. I'm creating a form. I have questions that require an "either/or" answer AND I've got "choose all that apply" questions. I've got the either/or boxes working. But I've tried both the radio buttons and the check boxes for the all-that-apply questions, and it still is only allowing one answer. What am I doing wrong? From what I can tell, I should use Radio buttons for the either/or questions and check the Check Box tool for the choose all that apply questions. But it is still forcing only one answer! Thanks!

Unlike radio buttons, you'll want your check boxes to have different output values and different names. It sounds like you haven't given each check box a different name.

Placing lines of text beside multiple choice field in form

I want to place single lines of text beside the multiple choice field in this form (as drawn above) instead of one box of text. Is this possible?

BP address data in Email form

When I create a campaign with communication channel as "email", how can I automatically add business partner address data ( Those BP's which are in the target group) when sending emails?
Is there a standard functionality available?

Hi,
You can use the Personalized mail functionality of the CRM for adding BP address in the email form. This is the standard functionality of the CRM 5.0.
In t code CRMD_EMAIL while creating the text of the mail form drag and drop address attributes from the left hand side Object / Attribute Business partner.
In Business partner Object you will get all the fields of the Business Partner including Street1 street2 City, POBox etc. Drag and drop these attributes wherever you want on the mail form text.

Thanks for your response, but copying and pasting creates a link. If the user places a check mark in one of the boxes, all the rest of the boxes will have a check mark also. I will research this some more.

The doc does not mention a separator for the email addresses because we only support one email address per subscription. I have logged a task for our next release to look at expanding it and allowing multiple.

PDF Form: Multiple Choice sheet that displays a percentage based on answers provided

Im trying to create a form that has 4 multiple choice questions, the answers to each being the values 0,1,2,3,4, 5 or N/A.
Once answers are given, I'd like the percentage to appear on the form.
I can't figure out how to do this, as the total fluctuates depending on if the response to one or more questions is "N/A".
I.e. if the answers were as follows: 4,4,4,4, the percentage would be 80% (16/20).
However, if the answers were: 4,4,4,N/A, the percentage would also be 80% (12/15) and NOT 60% (12/20).
I figure its a javascript thing - but alas I do not know Java.

So you want to compute the percentage of the non-"N/A" selections using the count of selected items * 5 as the denominator and then use that value to divide the sum of the values for the non-"N/A" selections.
Has a default checked value been selected.
Since the averaging is not just computation of the mean based on the item count, you to create a custom JavaScript calculation.

Adding multiple e-mail alias addresses to an account

Can someone please tell me how to add another e-mail address to my Mail account. I have tried using info from the Mail Help file, both "adding another account" and "adding multiple e-mail alias addresses to an account". Each time when I try to send a test message to or from the added e-mail address, I get the same message: "Cannot send message using the server mail.bellsouth.net. Use the Pop-up menu below to try a different outgoing mail server". The only pop-up is smtp .Mac.
I have tried both methods shown in the HELP file and get the same message. I would really appreciate your help.

Are you trying to add a second email account to Mail, or just add a second "(apparently) from" address to an existing account?
If the former, we need to know some more detail, like:
(1) who is the existing account, .mac or bellsouth?
(2) Which are you trying to add, .mac or bellsouth?
(3) I assume your ISP is Bell South?
(4) What are the names of the smtp servers and what are their respective smtp server port numbers?
(5) Are either of them using SSL on the smtp server?
(6) I don't remember whether Tiger Mail has it or not, but in Leopard Mail, on the menu bar under "Window" there is a selection "Connection Doctor." If applicable to Tiger Mail, what does it say about your connections?
(7) Which account can you send mail through and which one can't you send mail through?
(8) Are your receiving mail okay through either or both accounts? Which one(s)?
Now if you are trying to add a second "(apparently) from" address to an existing account, in Mail Prefs > Accounts > mail account > Email Address, just add a second email address separated by a comma like so:
[email protected], [email protected]
You could have an issue with bellsouth or .mac requiring the domain name in the apparently from email address to match the domain name of the smtp mail server.

2.'Copy' function in Forms. I want to insert two records. The
second has the same value as the first except PK_VALUE. e.g.

2.Record M,B,C,D,E
The problem is whenever I do inserting in a Form, all columns are
blank and waiting for entering data. Is it possible to just
input 'F', and the other columns will be inserted automatically
as same as previous one ('B','C','D','E,')?
3.To concatenate comment statement of two reports.
I have two reports. Each has its own comment column.
Now I want to concatenate these two comments and insert it into
a new report. Is it possible in Reports2.5?
I have thought of these problems for a long time, but I still
can't solve
them. I am not sure whether I can do such things in Dev 2k? Or
it can be developed in Dev 6.0?

select VBELV LFIMG from LIPS into corresponding fields of table ITAB where VBELV in S_VBELN and POSNV in S_POSNR.
I had entered value for s_vbeln 31 from 331
and s_posnr 10 20 and it gave me correct entries coz for order number 331 there were two entries in lips so multiple entries worked.
Please check the code with my code.

I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. Apple has announced that iLife is now an unsupported product and those iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, the boxed iLife 11 at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought. Personally, if I already didn't have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.

Is there a way to close one or more multiple choice options listed on a form while leaving other options still open to choose from? Thank you!

Can you send me the URL to your HTML/web form at [email protected] and I will take a look, what web browser and operating system are you using? You are referring to an online form or is it PDF? In the web form it should certainly not take any time when you select "Other"
You can clear the "Other" choice in a FormsCentral web form by removing the text and unchecking the selection for Other, also simply unchecking it will make it so that information is not submitted (even though it still shows, it is greyed out and won't be submitted).
