Additional field in FI12 (Bank Accounts)

Hi folks,
  I am editing bank details and entering the "Bank Accounts" I have a pseudo account (consider it a text field for simplicity) that I need to enter in this screen. Each bank account has a corresponding pseudo account.
I remember that there is a way to add a custom text field on the Bank Account entry screen (FI12) where we can enter any text. Does anyone recall what field it is and how it can be added?

Hi,
  I looked into it but it is for each house bank, I am looking for a field for each account. There could be multiple accounts under each house bank. Another option I am considering is using "Short Info" field while maintaining the cheque lot for that particular bank account under FCHI

  • FI12 Bank Account Reference Info field doesn't show for all house banks

    We are storing some information in the Reference info. field (T012K REFZL) for bank accounts. We have several house banks defined and this field is available for edit for the accounts for those house banks. We are setting up a new house bank, but the reference field does not show up so we cannot edit its value.
    I cannot find any config that allows me to define conditions that would affect the availability of that field. The only difference I can see between the new house bank, is it has a different country than the existing house banks. Existing house banks are in FR and PL, new house bank is in NL.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I received one other option from outside this forum that also solves the issue.
    Based on OSS Note 1009154 the below record has to be inserted into the u201CV_TFIBLSCREENu201D data view by using SM30:
    SAPLFHBANKC, 3, 002, NL, 3.

  • Field status for bank account ID

    Hi experts,
    I have an issue with field status during customer/vendor invoice posting using enjoy screen.
    I need to have house bank account ID (HKTID) ready for input. In IDES the field appears in FB70 or FB60 under "payment" tab, but when I try to reproduce it in my development client, the field is not there anymore.
    I tried to configure in field status group and posting key, but what can I find is only house bank field status, but not the account ID.
    Any configuration I missed to make the field ready for input?

    I have 2 account ID in FI12 and also in FBZP bank determination.

  • Bank Account number in IT0009 for Switzerland more than 18 digits

    Dear Experts,
             I encountered a problem when trying to create a bank account number in IT0009 for Switzerland. Because this Swtizerland bank account number is 21 digits which exceeded the current bank account number field length which is 18 digits only.

  • Masking a bank account number in a DFF (R12)

    we have bank account numbers stored in a DFF in Payables on the Supplier record (additionally due to specific requirements).  Is there a way to 'mask' the number that it is not available/visable when a user queries the Supplier record where the DFF is available?

  • Vendor Master Bank Account Number Changes

    Where are the changes of bank account number (New and the Old one) in vendor master data Reflected , is there any Table.??

    You can see the bank account before and after values in vendor master display or change.  Call up the vendor master (XK02 or XK03), go to the Vendor: Payment transaction screen, and then select the menu path Environment -> Account Changes -> All Fields.  The bank account changes will be listed under the change screen heading "Vendor Master (Bank Details)".  You may need to click the button "Entries" to see the Vendor Master (Bank Details).  Double-click that line and you will see the before and after values for ever bank number change.
    Example:
    Entry Vendor Master (Bank Details)
    Date                          Chgd By              Co Bank Number    Acct/IBAN
    11/30/09         ??????????       US 043318092      987654321     NEW
    11/30/09         ??????????       US 043318092      123456789     OLD

  • Automatic Bank Account Reconciliation - FF67

    Hi experts,
    I am having the following issue in my ECC 6.0 environment:
    I'm doing manual bank reconciliation through tcode FF67, after entering all the payments and receipts i'll save the statement and then post the statement.
    Afterwards I go to tcode SM35 and run the batch input session in order to real postings take place, reconciling the payments and the receipts.
    However, when selecting the open items the system gets stuck, as it is always using Amount (WRBTR) as the single selection criterion, and I have two documents with the same amount. So, I also want to use Assignment (ZUONR) as a criteria. I tried to use algortihm 015 to solve this, but I wasn't successful.
    Has anyone came across something like this?

    In order to make bank account transfer automatically using bank statement, you need to ensure the following things:
    1. Prepare a physical cash pool and ensure that the bank initiated sweep option is set to yes. Set up the concentration and subaccounts within whihc the transfer need to be made.
    2. Upload/Enter the bank statement for the respective banks. The line type should be sweep in or sweep out as the case may be. Enusre that the corresponding bank account number is mentioned in the Agent bank account field. For example - You transfer $100 from account 100 to account 101. In the bank statement for account 100, the line type should be sweep out and in the Agent bank account field, enter the bank account number 101. Similarly for the bank statement of account 101, the line type should be sweep in and in the Agent bank account field, enter the bank account number 100.
    Once this is done, run the program Sweep Transaction Generation program. This will create the cash flows automatically.

    Customer is using 2007A PL30
    With recent bank merging, a new bank account had been given to its customer. As such, customer would like to amend Account No field in House Bank Accounts-Setup but hit errors "Fields cannot be updated" Customer would like to continue posting into same G/L account for both incoming and outgoing payment history and bank reconciliation process purpose.

    A new bank account has to be setup.  You should not let customer to change their exist code.  A history has to be kept untouched for all financial records.

  • Different currency bank account

    Dear all,
    May I know what is the impact if only have local currency bank account as compared to foreign currency bank account in addition to local currency bank account.
    if i have invoice in foreign currency say USD and also local currency, should i have both usd and local currency bank account or only local currency bank account. what is the impact for both scenario?

    Hi,
    Foreign Currency bank accouns are only maintained when there is surety of transaction being posted only in one foreign currency. For eg. if you have foregin currency bank account i.e. USD then you will not be able to post in any other currency.
    Business Case: Indian company has a Bank Account in US to recieve collection for the sale made in US and also used to make statutory payment in USD then it is wise to keep that bank account in foregin currency.

    Is there a customizing option to update table TFIBLSCREEN ?. We want to set visible the field "Reference Data" in the Bank Account View in the customizing FI12 (V_T012K-REFZL in program SAPLFHBANKC ).

    The view V_T012K has the field REFZL. But SAP had modified the generated View Maintenance dialog for the view V_T012K to have only the four fields visible - House Bank, ID, Bank Acct and Text.
    Your requirement does not seem to be possible without a code modification. You will need to modify the Function Group FHBANKC (Object R3TR FUGR FHBANKC). Alternately, you may request SAP via OSS to add this field in the maintenance dialog for the view V_T012K.

    The additional fields for line item display have been defined for the vendor accounts. I am able to see the additional fields in SAP 4.7 system but not in ECC 6.0.

    In SPRO, Vendor Accounts -> Line Items -> Display Line Items -> Define Additional fields for Line item display, the fields for Check number from (PAYR-CHECF) and Tax Jurisdiction (BSEG-TXJCD) have been defined.
    When I am executing Vendor Line Item display (FBL1N), I am not able to select these fields for defining a layout. Could you please let me know, how I will get these fields in FBL1N.

    My client trying to create a vendor when she maintains the Bank account number under the bank detail and she encounterred error message "Entry in field Bank Acct. No is longer than 10 characters" where can I extend the field to 11 characters?

    Maximum length for bank account number is 18.
    The error message is because, for the country, standard SAP allows only 10 chars.
    To change this,
    1. Go to t-code OY17
    2. Change the bank account number /bank number length accordingly.

  • Bank account number field in Infotype 0009

    Deal All,
    My client's requirement is that in IT0009 the length of Bank account number (BANKN) needs to be increased for a particular affiliate. Currently the length is 18 Character and my client wants to increase it to character 20 for a particular affiliate.
    Can anyone please let me know is it possible to do it. If it is not possible then what can be the other alternatives to met the requirement and the impacts of the alternatives.

    Please refer to SAP Note 193078 - Employee/applicant bank details in Russia.
    Maybe it is nor specific for your case but SAP recommends to maintain first two digits in Bank key field.
    Please make sure whether this solution works for your case.

    The user is getting an error on saving the bank infotype. (0009). The user is trying to create a IT0009 for an international assignee.The error is "entry in field bank account number is longer than 10 characters.
    The default characters allowed maximum specified in the technical field is 18 characters. The abaper also checked and confirmed that it is specified as 18 characters.
    This is only for a single employee.
    Please provide your suggestions.

    You need to extend Bank Account number length....even though 18 will be the max length..by default assignment of length will be different from country to country. So you need to extend the length of Bank a/c number in trasaction OY17.....select the country and change the bank a/c number length to 18 and Checking rule to 5 max value length.

    Hi,
    If you have document splitting active, where profit center is mandatory, do not make profit center mandatory at the field status group level as this will not allow the documents to split where there are more than one profit center in a document.
    The bank line item gets automatically split in the ratio of liability or Assets line items profit center. And if you make Profit center mandatory in Bank line item then this splitting will not take place. Moreover you will not be able to post any document having more than one profit center.
    You can test this out all by yourself in a test system. Post an Invoice(FB60) as foolows:-
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-A)- 100
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-B)-200
       To vendor - 300
    This entry will show in general ledger view as :-
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-A) - 100
    Expense -Dr.(P.C.-B) - 200
       To vendor .(P.C.-A) - 100
       To vendor .(P.C.-B) - 100
    Now go to F-53 and post payment:-
    Enter Bank Account no., amount, and also enter profit center on the first screen as u hv made P.C. mandatory, and select the above document no. and try posting it. You will get error in this case.
