Address Command in smartform

Hi all,
i am using address command in smartform .there is a radio button for po box and street ..i have to select both po box and street ..is there any way to get the same.
also i need to print some hard code text in front of address how can i do it.
i want output as
B Name
I Street
L po box
L

Hello,
The radio buttons are specified to just give the priority to print; i.e., whether to print the street as the priority or the PO as the priority.
Now you can decide what to print first by selecting the radio button.
If you are selecting radio button for street then, first Street prints and then the PO, if you are selecting the PO radio button, then PO prints then followed by street.
Hence no worries, now your second requirement to print the text before the address, just add an text element before the address format.
PS: please do make a note that you cannot insert your texts in the middle of the address that is being printing by using address tab.

No blank line between address node in smartform

customer want to delete the blank line between address , is there a way to solve this ? i just want to use the address node.

For the paragraph format used with the ADDRESS command, indicate that you don't want blank lines.
Eg. /: ADDRESS PARAGRAPH ZD
So for this Paragraph Format 'ZD' check the checkbox 'No Blank Lines'.

Help needed regarding 'Address Text' in Smartforms

To display the address text in Smartforms, we include an 'Address' component and provide the respective address number to it. I just want to know which is the table where the complete address text corresponding to the address number is saved. I have checked the 'ADRC' & 'ADRCT' tables but in vain. Help me out.

In smartform u have to pass the address no and it's give the full address by FM ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM .plz check this fm and for address check the master table like vendor the table is LFA1 to get the address for it

I want to create an address in a smartform.While I am creating an address(org.address) and giving the field name as ekko-adrnr, i am getting an error in the ABAP code, "Error in address,(Name not filled)".

u have to take adrc table also.
for printing company address .
buy using joins
like
u have to define in form interface as.
comp_adrc like adrc.
and in print program write the joins,
and in compay details window.
select the text window and in that give
&comp_adrc-name1&
&comp_adrc-city&..
another method is u can also directly create the address node
and in that at general attributes tab
in ADDRESS NUMBER give the specific number
or global variable which u can taken address in that.

Does the 10.5.7 update address command+f finder search issues?

Does the 10.5.7 update address command+f finder search issues?
Search has been horrible under 10.5 in that it does not reliably find FOLDERS on network drives, only file names.
Even when I am looking directly at a folder and I search for it will not appear in the command+f window.
Also the stupidity of not allowing a specific search location.
Has this been addressed? I have, at any given time, 3-4 mounted servers.
I do not have a choice now to search a specific hard drive.
10.4.11 gave me the option under "OTHERS" to select a specific place to search.
The only choice I have in 10.5.2 is "SHARED". Which searches all drives when I only want to search one. Nor do I have a choice of searching just one of my two internal drives.
I talked with Chris in apple engineering several months ago, who acknowledged that search problems are a known issue under 10.5 and this was being addressed but have not heard any more. I don't want to download an update unless these broken search issues have been fixed. This is a production machine and I cannot have downtime in the Dept.

Hi Vipin,
if u r defining the variables for the address manually,
then u can define all the fileds in a single line in the edit mode of address window u will get the address in the single line only
if u r using the standard format
modify the address format by using the user exit:
"EXIT_SAPLSADR_001"

or in the least case u can use the address window setting to change the format and lines

Using the Local Director "alias ip address" command

I believe it is possible to have real servers in a different subnet to the local director virtual address by using the "alias ip address" command. This eliminates the need to use a router between the Local Director and the real servers. Does this mean that the Local Director is routing between subnets? Do the real servers use the Local Director alias address as their default gateway? Can someone provide an example config using the "alias ip address" command?

no, the local director will not route. there are two ways to make this work.
1
the router on the front side of the local director must be configured with a secondary ip address from the real server subnet plus add the alias command
or
2
use the alias command, plus each real server must be configured with a static ARP entry. the ARP entry is for the ip address of the servers configured default gateway and the MAC address of the router interface.

Aggregate-address command

I noticed when I first place aggregate-address 10.34.0.0 255.224.0.0 summary-only and than 10.40.0.0 255.255.255.0 to advertise more specific, that route is not placed. If I take out 10.34.0.0 and put 10.40.0.0 and than put 10.34.0.0 back, I can see both advertised. Looks to me the order matters if second aggregate fells into wider aggregate. Did anyone notice this issue?

you can use the suppress-map option in the aggregate-address command to get the desired behaviour

I have no experience with Nexus but wondered if you could set the device to reload in 10 like in IOS and then clear the MAC address table. If it didn't restart after clearing the MAC table you could do reload cancel. Although the bigger issue still remains its probably a bug.

To translate text from English to chinese use http://babelfish.altavista.com/
Then after translation go to SE63
on the top menu - click on translation - ABAP objects - Other long texts - Forms - SSF Form and styles - SAP Smartforms.
Open your address module and paste the chinese translation and activate.

BOX Command in Smartforms

My situation is i have main window which is having 2 columns ...
1st - invoice line item text
2nd - invoice line item value
requriement is i'll have to print a vertical line after the 1st column (inv line itemtext) which should draw through out the main window.
Firstly - I tried with BOX Command (BOX XPOS 3.00 CM WIDTH 5.00 CM FRAME 10 TW) inside the MAIN Widnow and inside a text element which is not working to my surprise. MAIN WINDOW height = 11,80 cm width = 18,16 cm ...SO I'M SURE ABOVE BOX COMMAND SHOULD FIT INTO THIS WINDOW DIMENSIONS but nothing is being printed ?
Secondly -- As i'm using internal table for priting whole MAIN Window i tried using patterns (framed pattern having one line after first column)... initial look at this pattern made me happier but to my disappointment it didn't work i.e., though it's pritning vertical line it's not printing through out the main window. Say if we have just one row to print vertical line just spans the first row but I WANT VERTICAL LINE TO BE PRINTED THROUGH OUT THE MAIN WINDOW.
Any suggestions pls ?

In SMART Forms you cannot have a line / box unless there is a element.
What you can do is CREATE a TEMPLATE object and select the pattern. But with template and TABLE inside that formatting of the data will be difficult.

Detecting changes in address in a smartform to allow sorting into envelopes

Hello,
We have a sorting machine which can place hardcopy invoices into envelopes, placing several invoices into 1 envelope as long as the billing address is the same.
To achieve this, we need to print a mark on some invoices to indicate that the current invoice is the last for the current envelope and the next invoice (with a different address) will be placed into a new envelope.
Is it feasible to somehow find the address of the next document to be printed?
We have a simple setup:
RSNAST00 calls our own copy of RLB_INVOICE passing the current invoice in the NAST table. A smartform is then called to print out the invoice.
I am not sure if this is something that can be done via logic in the smartform or if it means an ABAP change. Any advice greatly appreciated!

You don't need to use IMPORT/EXPORT parameter:
If the many invoices are printed in the same session, all data of previous invoice are available for the next one:
A routine to clear all global data is placed at the beginning of the program in order to solve this "problem":
So you need to have a gloabal varianble where to check the previous address and check it with the current one.
This control should be done in the program, not in the smartform, and it works fine if the invoices to be printed are correctly sorted before printing them.
The problem could be this solution can see when a new envolope starts only, i.e. it can't understand when the last invoice cames
