Address number , person number and address type in Ship to address

HI All,
We  are working on SRM 6.0.
In our system we have ship to address as partner function 27 in  shopping cart line item  .
If all the line items in the same shopping cart have same address  then also we are getting different  address number , person number and address type in the partner functions of SC line items.
In ship to partner function,  how the address number , person number and address type is decided?
Your inputs will be valuable for us.
Thanks
Snehal

Hi
Ship to address no is set up at company level - you can also create a ship to address and you can main in the attribute ship to address.
if you enter the ship to address manually then new address number might be created.
What is the setting in your existing system.
for eg. create a sc with 2 line item  let one from inherited ship to address and anothe ritem you undo them and enter new address.
and click partner function 27 for line item 1 and 2 in the bbp_pd and it takes you to crmd_partner table and show you different address no.

    Hello Bob.
You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

  • Can I add a name/address to a group and exclude that entry from the Address Book itself?

I would like to creat a group in Contacts with names/address, yet not have them listed in my Address Book.
I would rather not co-mingle the contacts in this new group with my regular contacts. I would like to keep them seperate.
    How can I do this?

I don't know for sure but a work around may be put the contacts you don't want to see in a separate grow and call it "Hidden"or whatever you want. Then have a another group (maybe call it "Common") for all the other contacts that you want to see.
If you don't use the "all contacts" view and just choose the "Common" group I don't think you will see the "hidden".
This may solve the problem as long as you don't really want to HIDE them, you just don't want to see them.

  • Where is Ship-to Address getting generated ?

    Hi,
I want to know where the ship-to address number is coming from.
If you go to BBP_PD, and Partner 27, there you can see one field ADDR_NR.
I am not able to find in the debug where exaclty this field is getting populated.
    Please help.

sorry i have confused here in PDP scenario
    BBP_PARTNER_FUNCTION_TO_TYPE - this FM
    Laurent and richardo is correct.
ship to address can be inheritd from organisation structure and it can be created and address number is the key needs to be supplied in organisation structure.
    or
ship to address can be entered manually while creating shopping cart - extra one entry added in ADRC table
but every time it creates crmd_partner guid for reference and stored in partner function 27.

    Partner Processing
Through partner processing, the dynamic structure of the partner functions is formed for the different business transactions in the SRM system. In this way, an internal employee can adopt the partner function Requester or Goods Recipient when creating a shopping cart.
The partner functions Vendor, Vendoru2019s Contact Person, Requester, and Goods Recipient appear in the header or item documents of a purchase order, for example.
A semantic and syntactic check of the entered data is performed automatically in partner processing.
Amongst other things it checks whether the business partner may adopt the assigned partner function.

  • SRM 7.0 Ship to Address contact details not pulling through

    Hi all
We are using SRM 7.0. We want users to choose the ship to address from a predefined list. I have added a new ship to address to an existing company. However when I add new contact details (telephone number, fax and email) it does not keep the new contact details. It still keeps the old contact details as standard. So when the requestor chooses the new ship to address, the old contact details are pulled through and not the new ones. How do I get the new contact details to pull through for the new address and the old contact details to remain for the old address.

    Hi
did you crreate a new ship to address? or change the contact details of ship to address ?
if you changed the ship to address . you must get updated address when you search.
if you created new ship to address , you must get new ship to address when you search it.
how did you change the ship to address ? - internal address?

  • Problem in Overwriting SHIP-TO-ADDRESS at itme level.

    Hi Experts,
We are facing problem in Overwriting SHIP-TO-ADDRESS at itme level.
Issue : Item level ship to address cannot be overwritten when item and header shipping is same.
if   item and header shipping address different then item shipping address can be overwritten.
Can any one  help me to solve this issue.?
What are all  the function modules  / BADIs used  for handling the shipping address..?
    Regards,
    Murugan Arumugam.

    Hello Murugan,
Sorry for the late reply, but changing ship-to party address at item level is standard behaviour in the B2B webshop. Yes, there was a bug in CRM ISA v4.0 when a change to the header level ship-to party address didn't flow through to an already available item ship-to party address but only to newly added items. This was rectified in newer versions of ISA / eCommerce.
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Ship-To Address/Performance Location

    Hi experts,
i'd like to know the origin of the default values into the tab "Ship-To Address/Performance Location".
Are these valuesthe same values which are in the "Plant" into Organizative Structure (ppoma_bbp)?
Are they replicated on the back-end? (ecc 6.0)
    Regards
    andrea

    Hi,
The ship to addresses are maintained manually in SRM system and do not come from backend. However plant addresses are replicated but they are attached to Location address and not assigned as Ship to address.  The ship to addresses are maintained using web transaction 'Edit Internal Addresses'. Here you can create ship to address as well as Invoicing addresses. All addresses are attached to the company code Business partner. After creating these addresses you can maintain one of the addresses as default using 'Ship to' attribute in ppoma_bbp.

  • Purchase Order Ship To Address on Logistics Tab

The Ship To Address on the Logistics tab for a PO is only showing a City and State.
Print Preview of the Purchase Order shows the Default Ship To Address for the Vendor.
Changing the Ship To Address on the Logistics tab of the PO does not affect the Purchase Order as shown in Print Preview.
This does not seem like correct behavior.  Is this a bug?
If not, can someone explain it to me?

Maybe the PO printout is set to print the ship-to address details of the BP instead of the ship-to address of the document?
In order to find out (or change) where the data on the PO printouts actually comes from: Open a PO, then Tools - Print Layout Designer (PLD), then a doubleclick on the high-lighted row. Select a field in the left hand window, then in Properties window go to 'Content' tab in order to review /change the table+column mappings.
The default content and layout of Document ship-to and bill-to addresses are defined in Admin - Setup - BPs - Address Formats.

  • Ship-to address overwritten in sales order/delivery

    Hello,
We have a peculiar problem in our production.
Our user created a sales order, then two deliveries out of this order.  No PGI had been done and the ship-to code in the SO/deliveries was not changed.
The user then changed the ship-to address in one of the deliveries.  The address in the other delivery was overwritten with the same address and so was the ship-to address in the sales order.
    Any idea what went wrong?
We tested this in our test environment and there was no such problem.

As per my knowledge by changing the address in SO or delivery does not impact any where. Usally  we change the address in partners tab at header level by double clicking on the code. If client required any specific address ( not CMR )  in excise output or commercial output this new address we can get by making some changes in smart form and print it out.

  • Standard Ship To Address modified

    Hi,
We have a requirement as -
While creating a Shopping Cart, the Ship To address (Delivery Point - Partner Fct - 27) is getting picked up from the Standard
Ship to Address maintained against the Purchasing data. Now if a user modifies the Ship To Address while creating the Shopping Cart, we should be able to catch that when we use the standard Function Module BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL to retrieve the Shopping Cart data.
My query is - how can I understand whether an user has modified the standard Ship To Address through BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL or using transaction BBP_PD?
    Thanks in advance.

yes . there is one field there in adrc tale i will update you shortly.
it makes difference manual entry or not.
BBP1 - is manually you entered address. for eg. you create a sc and you entered manually ship to address ao this address recorded as BBP1 .
    ADRC - ADDR_GROUP value BBP1 manually entered .
other wise it picked from address which already maintained. for eg. you can monitor the business document addresses entered by manually by the user or fixed value.

  • Disabling ship-to-address field on the SRM 7.0 portal.

    Hi All,
The requirement is to disable the ship-to-address field for user input on the portal.
I have some information about the table /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC. Here some entries has to be maintained.
But I am not able to get what would be the exact data entry to disable the ship-to-address field.
Please let me know the correct data and procedure to do this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Archana

    Hello Archana
in standard SRM , if you maintained ship to address attribute or copy ship to address default you might inherit all the user ship to address default.
but your requirement is no user should not edit the ship to address
in SRM 5.0 we have undo address button under ship to address .
if you click undo address all the address will be cleared and now user can enter his desired ship to address.
so now you need to protect this functionality. you must keep access for only dispaly the ship to address not allow to enter ship to address.
In srm 7.0 you dont have undo entries ? i am not much aware of srm 7.0 screens . customer requirement is valid.

  • Ship to Address changed

    Hello SRM Guru's,
      SRM 5.0, Classic Scenario.
Basis had just implemented support stack 10, and the Ship to address is getting changed when the PO is created in R/3, using plant address to determine the Ship to address. We had setup different delivery addresses in SRM and this appears a shopping cart is created but the information is different in R/3 PO.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how it could be fixed?
    Many Thanks
