Addresse of Storage location

Hi,
Does storage locations must assign address or it is ok not to assign address to storage locations? I am having difficulty assigning address to my storage locations.
I highlighted Storage location then on left side pull down menu, I click on Address of Storage then I get lost what to do to assign address to that particular storage location.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi:
It is ok to not assign the address for storage location, but if you want to do that so,please select one storage location, and then double click addresses of storage location,type a number then click "new address" icon on the top of the window, here you are able to type new address of it.

do you mean international adress e.g. with chinese characters and western characters?
you have to activate international adress version first.
when you maintain the storage location adress (by clicking he envelope, you will find a button for international adress in the lower part of the pop-up for the adress .

You can find the address of storage location in Table TWLAD. But I think you have to table join ADRC and TWLAD

Delivery address in PO with more than one address for storage location

Hi All,
Can you please let me know how the storage location addresss gets picked up in a PO where the storage location has more than more address defined in customizing. How can we control the address in the PO ?

The purchase order will take the first storage location address. User exit EXIT_SAPLMMDA_001 allows you to select one of the other addresses if you wish. For more details refer to OSS Note 498153 - FAQ: Addresses in the purchasing.

Storage Location Address Display.

Dear All,
Good Morning to all of u. Hope u all are doing well.
I have issue that i have a plant in delhi location
1010 Delhi Plant & under 1010 there are diffrent storage location
as given
Plant         Storage Location
1010        FG01
1010        TR01
1010        SP01
1010        TE01.
These storage location has diffrent address accoring to their address in diffrent area. for example
FG01 IN KAROL BAGH
TR01 IN KASMIRI GATE.
Now the issue is that i have to see the storage location address in system. so please help me.how i can display & modify in the system.

Hello,
You need to maintain storage location address first;
Go to Transaction OX09 >>Enter your plant>>Now select the storage location and double click on Addresses of storage location in Dialog structure>> Now Press that Tab New Entries from application Tool Bar.
Now Enter 1 and press the Envelope icon and you can maintain your storagge location address. Now this address will come in delivery address of your purchase order.
Like wise you need to maintain storage location addresses for storage locations FG01, TR01,SP01,TE01 in plant 1010

Problem in Address update for storage location via LSMW

I am trying to update the address of storage location thru LSMW,
Normally when i run OX09 i get the "dialogue structure' in LHS panel but when I do the recording of OX09 in LSMW, I am not getting the "Dialogue structure" LHS panel & hence I can't go to the 'Addressees for storage location'
How to get the ""Dialogue structure" in LHS while recording in LSMW so that I can update the address also.
Currently my recording only takes me to the create storage location & no LHS 'dialogue structure' for 'Addressees for storage location'
Please give the suggestions as I its on urgent for me to update 1000 storage location.

Table for storage location addresses

I am trying to find the table where addresses for storage locations are found. I have found the storage locations in T001L and the addresses in ADRC, but cannot find the link between these tables.
In which table can I find the link between storage locations and addresses?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

While creating inter company STPO (different CC), the system showing delivery address is Storage location address, but i want to change plant address.
Please help me how i can do this...

then delete the storage location in the PO item line.
the storage location is the most detailed information in the PO, and it has an adress. If you procure to that storage location (that has a different address to your plant adress) then it is logic and makes a lot of sense that your supplier sends the goods to this location and not to an address where the material is not needed.

Create storage locations

       There is a requirement to do a mass creation of storage locations. While creating a storage location, I have to upload data such as
1) Address realted data for storage location(Name, streetm Postal code,city
2) storage type, storage section, print params from storage location
3) WM connect, MRP, fixed bin assignment
    Is there any BAPI that suits this requirement.
What is the tcode for storage location creation and updation of this data.

            In OX09 tcode on the left pane, if the 'Address of storage locations' is selected, I got a list with a field labelled 'No.' Is that the address number? Where do I need to update the street/houseno, postal code, city details etc.

Translation of storage location

Hi,
There is no Language for the description of the storage locations.
But if you want to maintain the address of storage location in a different language then you can go to address screen and click on internation versions and maintain the address in different location.
In case if you want to cross verify then go to SPRO , open the menu path for the defination of maintain storage location and then on the top menu click on additional information and select technical data and click on language - dependence and the system will give a message saying that there is no table to contain the langauge

Storage Location creation

Hi All, I have to load more tan 2000 storage locations in the system with their addresses. When I try using BDC, the OX09 transaction does not show the address for storage location option in SHDB. Could anybody please suggest anyother convenient method? Thanks.

PO print outs having delivery address as of storage location

Hello Experts,
What setting need to be done to have storage location address as delivery address in PO by default.

In your print program pass values plant and storage location in table TWLAD and in that table you will get address number .Use this address number in ADRC table and get address details in PO output form.
Please explain above logic to your technical team and they will do program changes.

Plant details stored in T001w table.
in this table you can find few details like NAME,country etc..
still if you are specifically required other address details of a plant, do the below
TAKE ADRNR value from T001w table AND goto ADRC table and give ADDRNUMBER = T001W-ADRNR.
you will get all address related values from this table.

How to get delivery address in STO for the storage location

We have to create STO from the reservation using MRP run. While system is creating the STO we need to populate the storage location address as delivery address (not the plant address ). How we can do that? what are teh settings required for this setup? please hlep in that.

You can select the storage location in the line item itself which is adjecent to Plant for the line item.
