Adjust page size dynamically ?

Hi,
i have a page with 2 iView created from PAR (URL isolation mode), i need the page to dynamically adjust the size to fit with the size of both iView together.
At this point i set the height type to automatic, but when the iView reached its maximum page height. Then it comes two scroll bars in pararell one in each iView and another one in Page.
how can i dynamically adjust iFrame sizes for both iView?? i heard that i can be done with javascript??
Thanks in advance

  • Create pdf from html, how to adjust page size

I have a large html file that I need to convert to a pdf. I am able to open the html in acrobat and save as pdf, but I cannot find where to adjust the page size. When I save the html in acrobat, the saved file is still a single page, but when I open the page in reader, then there are page breaks.
How do I adjust the page size and create a single page document?
There is also a header and footer line that I don't want. How do I get rid of those?
    LHH

When you open the window for create PDF from web, select the settings. You can adjust the size and header/footer there.

  • Xoffset and yoffset erase page when adjusting page size?

I'm using CS6 Acrobat X on Windows 7 and I want to adjust the page size of a PDF and move the crop so that it fits in a particular non-centered position for printing.  I'm doing this by using the crop feature in Acrobat.  The problem I'm encountering is that when I try and make any adjustment with the xoffset and yoffset aside from the default it erases everything on the page.  Any suggestions?

Has anyone figured this issue out yet? I used to be able to change the page size (usually increasing the size) and offsetting the placement of the content on the page to allow for a proofing stamp. This worked fine in Version 9, but I have not been able to do it since the upgrade. Lets say I take a half-page 5.5x8.5 and go to the "Set Page Boxes" dialogue box and want this to print out on an 8.5x11 sheet with it offset to the right 2.5in. I change the paper size to Letter then uncheck the center box and then adjust the XOffset to 2.5. The preview shows it moved and when I hit the enter button all of the content disappears and I am left with a blank 8.5x11 sheet of paper.
    Thanks

  • Change report page size dynamically -URGENt

    Hi,
I am developing one report for super market, and as per the req. of super market I want to control the page size during the runtime only.
    Pleas help me regarding this.
    Thanns in advance.
    Sharad

You can't actually change the page size.
But there are some things may help in this respect.
In the report layout you can have some frames that include different layouts for the same data and print those frames conditionally.
Or you may use two different .rdf for two different page sizes.

  • Adjusting the page size in numbers on the ipad

I need to be able to adjust/set the page size for numbers documents on the ipad. Every time I export the numbers document from icloud as a pdf to a pc the spreadsheets are all over the place with page breaks in the wrong places. If i export as an excel I lose all formatting. I can't download as a numbers doc as the pc will not support it. Is there a way of setting and locking the document/page size with out going through the print option as i do not have an airprint printer and am not going to get one either!

I don't see a setting for page size.  Everything else related to that (sans setting the page size) appears to be found here:
    Click the wrench
    Share & Print
    Print
Select portrait/landscape, content size, page numbering, headers
    Done (don't actually print it)
I wonder if you set the page size when you actually go to print it.  I don't have a printer to try it on. Otherwise it looks like 8.5x11 is all you get.

  • Is there a way to adjust the Auto Page Size

    Hi,
When selecting the "Auto" size option in the InDesign print dialog, it makes the page .6667" bigger than the document page size. I would like to adjust that amount to an even 1" bigger than the document page size. Is there a way to change this setting?
I understand I can create a custom page size for each document, but I rather just have the "Auto" option make the page size 1" bigger for printing.
    Thanks,
    Keith

You can set the size of the page's content section with the Inspector/Page/Layout pane:

  • Dynamic page size

    Hi,
I need to run the same RTF template for US and Europe.
The only difference is page size.
US is using "Letter" page size, Europe is using "A4" page size.
I can distinguish the page size by organization.
Is there a way that I can have one template with dynamic page size, or I have to have two different templates?
    Thanks,
    karmit

When the data is generated, can you determine who it is for (letter-sized or otherwise)? Once you pick off a value that identifies the page size, you can let a variable for lines per page (see the fixed lines per page example on Tim's blog) and base the page break on the paper size.

  • Looking to adjust page and lettering size into mm

    Hi all,
I've currently got some font in which I would like to adjust to the real size so that I can se measurements of each letter etc before I cut the lettering out in vinyl.
I would like to adjust the page size too 1800mm in width and 600mm in length.
I would also like to adjust the lettering too 1750 in width and then the same proportion in length.
How do I do this please.
    Thanks,

Actually, you can do both of those things quite simply.
Firstly, your page size can be set in the Document Setup option from the file menu, and simply type the numbers and the measurement units in the field: 1800mm
If you want to set all of your documents to use mm natively, simply have InDesign launched with no open documents, and go to the preferences. From there, choose Units.
For the type, simply add mm after the numbers in the size field. InDesign will automatically convert them to points. You can convert to outlines when you're ready to send the file.

How can I adjust the size if a photo While I am Printing Wireless Printer ?

Whilst in the Preview application, press "Shift - Command - A" (⇧⌘A) simultaneously to show the markup toolbar, or click View, and select "show markup toolbar". There is an icon "A" near the right hand side of the now visible markup toolbar, click this icon to reveal all the font options.

  • How to let Stage size adjust to size of applet ?

    Sirs and madams,
I need to deploy an app online. There is going to be lots of stuff on the Stage.
To keep possible damage to user's eye minimal i would like to adjust the size of the Stage and
it's components to the size of the applet.
Is such a thing possible? If yes - how?
    Thanks in advance!

The size of the applet is defined in the HTML file generated by javafxpackager (or NetBeans using the latter):
    <script>
        javafx(
                  archive: "JavaFXProgram.jar",
                  draggable: true,
                  width: 1024,
                  height: 768,
                  code: "JavaFXProgram",
                  name: "JavaFXProgram"
</script>In general, you define these values to the size of the stage, not the way around...
Although, I suppose you can generate these sizes if you generate dynamically the page (eg. with a JSP or something similar).
You can get these values with FX.getArgument(), and size the stage with them:
    def WIDTH: Integer = Integer.parseInt(FX.getArgument('width') as String);
    def HEIGHT: Integer = Integer.parseInt(FX.getArgument('height') as String);
    Stage
title: "JavaFX Packaging and Deployment Test"
      width: WIDTH
      height: HEIGHT
      scene: scene
    }

How can I adjust text size in ibooks dictionary?

    Hello Eoradec2012,
It sounds like you are using the Define function in iBooks and you are wanting to increase the size of the font on the page showing the definition. The size of that text can be controlled in the Text Size section:
To adjust the font size, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > General > Text Size.
Drag the slider to the preferred size. The text on the screen will adjust as you move the slider.

  • How can I change the page size of a scanned PDF document?

How can I change the page size of a scanned PDF document?
I scanned a 50-page document with an HP 5610xi All-In-One using the software that comes with it: HP Scan Pro. Though the physical document has standard 8.5" x 11" pages, the PDF resulting from scanning has page size set to 35.42 × 48.67 inches (according to Preview's "Tools > Inspector". I want to resize the pages to 8.5" x 11". Shouldn't Preview be able to do that with "Tools > Adjust Size..."? When I try, the menu option is grey so I can't select it.
    I'm using Preview Version 4.2.

Thanks for the insight; that explains why it's the wrong size. I selected 300dpi scanning (which is the default, actually), but HP Scan Pro evidently created a PDF with 72dpi indicated. I want it fixed because I want to distribute the file to other people and have them able to print or display it without problems.
I still don't know why Preview won't let me change it, but your question about whether I wanted to print it did lead me to find a workaround: "File > Print" and "Save as PDF..." saved it with the correct page size.

  • Printing to PDF: prints the wrong page size and orientation

I am trying to print a simple 60 page document composed of 8 x 11 inch pages to a pdf. I want the pdf in spreads, so that 2 8x11 inch pages in portrait orientation will be next to each other as a spread. Each time I try to print, the pdf comes out in the wrong orientation or the wrong size or both. When I export it to a pdf, it is the right orientation and page size, but the file size is way too large. So how do I fix this annoying problem? I have tried adjusting the print setup but it still won't print right. This seems like a simple operation, but indesign has been giving me trouble with this for weeks. I should mention I'm using CC. Thank you.

Go to the AdminUI ( http://<servername>:<port>/adminui ), and to Services, PDF Generator.  Pick File Type Settings, and click on the Standard entry.  If you pop open the HTML to PDF section, you can edit the size, margins, orientation, headings and footers, site recursion, and pdf initial view settings.  <br /><br />Save your settings as a new Filetype (you can make as many as you want), and pass the name the filetype as the second parameter to the call to the htmlToPDF method on the web service client.<br /><br />http://livedocs.adobe.com/livecycle/es/sdkHelp/programmer/javadoc/com/adobe/livecycle/g eneratepdf/client/GeneratePdfServiceClient.html<br /><br />I am unfamiliar with interacting directly with the web services via SOAP, so if you are not using the pre-built GeneratePdfServiceClient supplied by Adobe and this information does not solve your issue you will need to see if anybody else can help.  I imagine that there is a similar String parameter where you place the Filetype name defined in the AdminUI.<br /><br />(edit: I should mention, the GeneratePdf service is a part of PDF Generator ES, not Output ES, so you may have better luck in the general Livecycle ES forum)
