Adobe Acrobat 6.0 CE Standard edited forms do not display fields

I have a user who has Adobe Acrobat 6.0 CE Standard, she uses it to fill out an editable form created with Adobe and send it to clients. When this form is saved and attached to an e-mail, anyone who recieves it and opens it in Reader 9.0 the fields that were edited do not display. However, If It is sent through the "Send by e-mail for review" option under the "File" menu option in the Adobe Acrobat 6.0 CE. It arrives and opens up with the input data in the fields.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is and why It cannopt be opened in Reader if just sent as an attachment in Outlook?

Do you know if your users that cannot use the forms have access to the ADSCerts view in the Key Storage service? Check out slide 26 in the below link:

Form guide not displaying fields

Hi,
I am creating a from guide using the RenderFormGuide component. The rendered form guide does not display any fields. I am able to preview the same XDP as a form guide in the designer, and it works perfectly fine. Are there any properties in the RenderFormGuide thats preventing the fields from being displayed?
Also, this form guide is not for use in workspace. This is to be opened up on the browser.

I used the guide builder in designer to create the guide. I chose the guide layout, dragged fields to the guide through the add/bind fields option. The fields do not show up for me even with default values.
I tried to create a form guide with no fields, just the default section and panel. Even this results in the same problem.
When I pass the sample form guide that comes with designer install through the render form guide component, only the guide layout gets created - there are no sections or panels. I am wondering if i am making a mistake in setting the form guide properties?
These are the properties that I set:
Application Web Root : http://[hostname]:[portno]
base URL : http://[hostname]:[portno]
Content Root URI : repository://
Target URL : http://[hostname]:[portno]
The only property that I modified in the Form guide render options is "Cb = True"

Background Color in Acrobat 9.4.3 standard edition

When I view a pdf in Acrobat 9 (not adobe reader), the background is black.
Many of the pdfs I view have black edges or bleed, and I need to see where the pdf starts and finishes for proofing purposes.
Does anyone know how to change the background colour in Acrobat 9.4.3 standard edition to white or grey or anything else?

My boss has asked me to do some research into the Adobe Acrobat X (or XI) standard version. Can you please help me on the following issues:
If we are to purchase the Adobe Acrobat X (or XI) standard version, will I be able to edit PDF documents?
Will I be able to combine numerous PDF documents into one file?
Will we be able to install the program on more than one computer?
Will we be able to password protect the PDF files?

You can't buy Acrobat X any more, not from Adobe at least.

The answer to all of your questions is yes, with the partial exception of the one about installing it on multiple computers. The EULA allows you to activate the application on two computers, as long as its not used on both at the same time. This is the same for Standard and for Pro, though.

I have buy Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Standard Edition. I have installed Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Premium as plugin for Eclipse. I have two way:
1) Download Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Standard Edition, but it seems to be impossible to find the final link;
2) Ask to Adobe to change from Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Standard Edition to Premium Edition (the cost is equal), but also this the number indicated (8008336687) , doesn't exist.

Kind of. I never actually solved the bug, but I did make it past the install.
Upon running Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Installer it appeared to crash and only load a blank screen with a single unclickable button. It wasn't actually "hanging", and would react when I clicked on the program menu and moused over "Services". This would allow my clicks and keystrokes to register with the program, but only after I mouse over the "Services" menu item. For example, you need to click "okay", then mouse over "Services". When you want to enter text you need to click in the text box, and mouse over "Services". Then you need to type the text you want, and mouse over "Services" to see the text appear. It's a PITA, but you can get through the install by doing this.
After installing the FB plug-in starting eclipse with editors open appeared to cause errors. If this happens, this is because it seems that FB attempts to load when eclipse starts up. Close all editors and restart eclipse. The Welcome page for FB may pop open up. At the bottom there is a check box that will keep that form loading - check it. If the page does not open when eclipse starts, then open up an MXML file. The Welcome page should load, and you can check the box.
I hope this helps you move forward. Also, if you find an actual solution please let me know.

Cloud Licensing - Can Adobe Acrobat 9.0.0 Standard / Professional both be used on Windows RDS 2012 R2?

We have users that share a remote desktop server, Windows 2012 R2.
We use Adobe Acrobat 9.0.0 standard and professional. Is there a conflict in software or legality for allowing our users both these programs simultaneously on the remote Cloud server? Thanks!

You should probably ask to Adobe, but as license states: "You must have a valid Acrobat software license for every computer that has access to Acrobat software."
Because you predeploy this SW to these devices without user intervation, you must sign in to Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution License Agreement.

Not sure what you mean by that: is that URL in an image, or is it actual text?
If it is in an image, then you need to extract the image, edit it with something like Photoshop, then add it back to the PDF.
If the URL is actual text, I suggest that you remove the entire URL, then add the corrected link.

What you're calling "Adobe Forms" is really Adobe FormsCentral. The FormsCentral service is indeed going away soon, but you can always create PDF forms (AcroForms) with Acrobat. Acrobat also comes with a desktop version of the FormsCentral desiger, which can be used to create simple PDF forms that can be used apart from the FormsCentral service. So you'll no longer be able to create and host web forms with the FormsCentral service or use PDF forms with the FormsCentral service. You will be able to create standalone PDF forms with Acrobat and simple PDF forms with the FormsCentral desktop app.

I recently purchased the adobe acrobat xi pro student/teacher edition from local bestbuy...I went online and activated product even got serial number however, maybe its me but darn program wont run when in insert cd into drive...I have no idea whats going on and good luck trying to contact someone over the phone (why do they make it so difficult)...any help would be appreciated.

What are you actually trying to do? Don't forget that Acrobat is not really an editor, but provides some tools to allow minor edits. If the file has security set, you may no be able to do anything.

I have problems with the "standard" bit of your question; are you asking about Adobe Reader, or Adobe Acrobat?
If Adobe Reader, then you should download the latest version from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
If Adobe Acrobat, then most likely it will install on Windows 7, but you may need to run it in Windows XP compatibility mode. I'm doing the same with Photoshop 7.
